Description
図1は、本発明の第1の実施の形態に係る車両用灯具10の概略断面図である。図1に示すように、車両用灯具10は、前面が開放した樹脂製の灯具ボディ48と、透光性材料により形成され、灯具ボディ48の前面を気密的に覆うアウターレンズ34とを含んで構成された灯体内に、灯具ユニット30が収容された構成となっている。
図3は、本発明の第2の実施の形態に係る車両用灯具におけるヒートシンク114およびファン156の斜視図である。第2の実施の形態に係る車両用灯具は、基本的な構成は図1に示す車両用灯具10と同様であるが、ヒートシンク114およびファン156の構成が異なっている。なお、第1の実施の形態に係る車両用灯具10と同一または対応する構成要素には同様の符号を付すと共に、重複する説明は適宜省略する。
Claims (3)
- 光源としての半導体発光素子と、
ベース部上に立設された複数の平板フィンと、前記平板フィン間に形成された複数の通風路とを含み、前記半導体発光素子から発生する熱を放熱するヒートシンクと、
空気を吸い込む軸方向の吸気口と、軸方向と垂直な複数の異なる方向にそれぞれ排気する複数の排気口とを有し、前記ヒートシンクの通風路に空気を流して前記平板フィンを強制空冷する遠心ファンと、
前記半導体発光素子、前記ヒートシンクおよび前記遠心ファンを収容する灯体と、
を備える車両用灯具であって、
前記遠心ファンの各排気口に少なくとも1つの通風路の入口が面するように前記ヒートシンクの平板フィンが形成されており、
前記ヒートシンクは、前記遠心ファンの軸方向にも複数のフィンが設けられており、該フィンは、前記遠心ファンの吸気により強制空冷されることを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 前記遠心ファンの各排気口に入口が面する各通風路は、各排気口の排気方向と平行に延設されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記遠心ファンの吸気により強制空冷されるフィンは平板フィンであり、該平板フィンは、前記遠心ファンの排気により強制空冷される平板フィンの延設方向に対して垂直に延設方向が定められていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用灯具。
