Claims (19)
- 無線送受信ユニット(WTRU)において実行するセル再選択を行う方法であって、
現在の無線アクセス技術(RAT)に関連する現在のセルに対する、候補となるRATに関連する異なるRATのセルのセル再選択の優先順位を示す、前記現在のRATの前記現在のセルの優先順位情報を受信するステップと、
前記優先順位情報に基づいて、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有するか否かを決定するステップと、
前記現在のセルのセル選択値を決定し、さらに、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有するか否かを決定するステップにおいて前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有すると決定される場合には、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルの品質測定を行うと決定するステップであって、前記現在のセルの前記セル選択値にかかわらず、前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有する前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルに基づいて、前記異なるRATのセルの前記品質測定が行われる、ステップと、
前記現在のセルのセル選択値を決定し、さらに、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有するか否かを決定するステップにおいて前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有さず、かつ、前記現在のセルの前記セル選択値が予め定められた閾値以下であると決定される場合には、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルの品質測定を行うと決定するステップであって、前記WTRUが、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有さないことに基づいて前記品質測定を行うか否かを決定する際に、前記現在のセルの前記セル選択値を考慮する、ステップと
を備えたことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記現在のセルは、E−UTRAN(Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network)におけるLTE(long term evolution)セルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記異なるRATのセルは、広帯域符号分割多元接続(WCDMA)セルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記異なるRATのセルの前記品質測定を行い、前記品質測定に基づいて、前記異なるRATのセルを再選択するステップをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記異なるRATのセルの前記品質測定を行い、前記品質測定は、E−UTRAN(Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network)によってシグナリングされる時間に基づいて定期的に評価されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記優先順位情報は、前記異なるRATのセルのための周波数情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記異なるRATのセルの信号強度を測定し、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有するか否かを決定するステップにおいて前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有すると決定される場合には、予め定められた時間間隔の間に構成された閾値であって、この閾値よりも大きい、前記異なるRATのセルのために測定された信号強度に基づいて、前記異なるRATのセルを再選択するステップをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高くランク付けされる前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記異なるRATのセルを再選択するステップであって、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有さない、ステップをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルのランク付け、および前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルのランク付けは、参照シンボル受信電力(Reference Symbol Received Power:RSRP)に少なくとも部分的に基づくことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記異なるRATのセルを再選択する際に、位置の更新を行うステップをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- セル再選択を行う無線送受信ユニット(WTRU)であって、
現在の無線アクセス技術(RAT)に関連する現在のセルに対する、候補となるRATに関連する異なるRATのセルのセル再選択の優先順位を示す、前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルの優先順位情報を受信するように構成された受信機と、
前記優先順位情報に基づいて、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有するか否かを決定し、
前記現在のセルのセル選択値を決定し、
前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有するか否かを決定する際において前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有すると決定される場合には、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルの品質測定を行うと決定し、かつ、前記WTRUは、前記現在のセルの前記セル選択値にかかわらず、前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有する前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルに基づいて、前記異なるRATのセルの前記品質測定を行うように構成され、
前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有するか否かを決定する際において前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有さず、かつ前記現在のセルの前記セル選択値が予め定められた閾値以下であると決定される場合には、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルの品質測定を行うと決定し、さらに前記WTRUは、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有さないことに基づいて前記品質測定を行うか否かを決定する際に、前記現在のセルの前記セル選択値を考慮する
ように構成されたプロセッサと
を備えたことを特徴とするWTRU。 - 前記現在のセルは、E−UTRAN(Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network)におけるLTE(long term evolution)セルであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のWTRU。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記異なるRATのセルの前記品質測定を行い、前記品質測定に基づいて、前記異なるRATのセルを再選択するようさらに構成されたことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のWTRU。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記異なるRATのセルの前記品質測定を行い、E−UTRAN(Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network)によってシグナリングされる時間に基づいて前記品質測定を定期的に評価するようさらに構成されたことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のWTRU。
- 前記優先順位情報は、前記異なるRATのセルのための周波数情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のWTRU。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有するか否かを決定する際において、前記異なるRATのセルの信号強度を測定し、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有すると決定される場合には、予め定められた時間間隔の間に構成された閾値であって、この閾値よりも大きい、前記異なるRATのセルのために測定された信号強度に基づいて、前記異なるRATのセルを再選択するようさらに構成されたことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のWTRU。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有すること、および前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルが前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルよりも高い優先順位を有さないことに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記異なるRATのセルを再選択するようさらに構成されたことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のWTRU。
- 前記候補となるRATに関連する前記異なるRATのセルのランク付け、および前記現在のRATに関連する前記現在のセルのランク付けは、参照シンボル受信電力(Reference Symbol Received Power:RSRP)に少なくとも部分的に基づくことを特徴とする請求項17に記載のWTRU。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記異なるRATのセルを再選択する際に、位置の更新を行うようさらに構成されたことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のWTRU。
