Description
Claims (4)
- 液晶パネルと、該液晶パネルに光を照射するバックライトと、
上記バックライトに設けられた発光素子と、
上記発光素子からの光が入射する導光板と、
上記発光素子が搭載される基板とを有し、
上記発光素子は光が出光する出光面と、該出光面に交差する側面とを有し、
上記導光板は、光が出光する主面と、該主面に交差する入光面と、
該入光面に、上記発光素子の側面に沿うように入光面から突出した突出部と、
上記入光面側から主面に向かい厚さが減少する傾斜面とを有し、
上記主面及び上記傾斜面には光学シートが配置され、
上記傾斜面に重ねて傾斜面より出射した光を反射する反射部材が設けられ、
上記発光素子が搭載された基板は上記導光板に、上記突出部上に形成された接着シートにより付着し、
上記接着シートはベースフィルムに粘着剤が塗布された接着部分と、上記ベースフィルムが上記傾斜面に延長した延長部分とからなり、
上記ベースフィルムの延長部分には反射部材が設けられたことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 上記発光素子はLEDであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 液晶パネルと、該液晶パネルに光を照射する面状照明装置とを有し、
上記面状照明装置は、
複数の発光素子と、
上記発光素子を搭載する回路基板と、
上記発光素子からの光を上記液晶パネルに照射する導光板とを有し、
上記導光板に、
上記液晶パネルに対向するよう形成された上面と、
該上面に交差する側面と、
上記発光素子に隣接した側面に凸部とを形成し、
上記凸部上に上記回路基板を配置し、
上記凸部を形成した側面から上記上面に向かい傾斜面を設け、
上記上面及び上記傾斜面には光学シートが配置され、
上記傾斜面に重ねて傾斜面より出射した光を反射する反射部材が形成され、
上記凸部と上記回路基板との間には、上記凸部と上記回路基板とを接着する接着シートが設けられ、
上記接着シートはベースフィルムと、上記凸部と重なる部分のベースフィルムに粘着剤が塗布された接着部分と、上記ベースフィルムが上記傾斜面に延長された延長部分とを有し、
上記反射部材は上記ベースフィルムの延長部分に設けられることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 上記発光素子はLEDであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置。
