Claims (10)
- 光を発生させる第1ランプ及び第2ランプで構成された光源と、
前記第1ランプ及び第2ランプに隣接した第1入光面及び第2入光面、前記光が放出される出射面、及び前記出射面に対向する背面で構成された導光板と、を含み、
前記背面には、前記光源から入射された光を前記出射面方向に均一に出射させるためのドット形状のパターンが形成され、また前記導光板の内部には入射光を散乱させる光散乱部材を具備したバックライトアセンブリと、
前記導光板から出射された前記光を用いて画像を表示するディスプレーユニットと、
前記バックライトアセンブリ及び前記ディスプレーユニットを収容するための収納モジュールとを含み、
前記ドット形状のパターンは、PMMAを主材料として前記第1ランプ及び第2ランプにそれぞれ隣接した前記導光板の両端部よりその中央部に行くに従い密にスクリーン印刷により形成され、
前記光散乱部材は、第1ランプ及び第2ランプにそれぞれ隣接した前記導光板の両端部より、前記中央部に行くに従い密に形成され、
前記光散乱部材の総体積は、前記導光板全体体積の10%以下であることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記ドット形状のパターンは、前記導光板に直接形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記光散乱部材は、前記導光板の内部にランダムに分布することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記光散乱部材は、微細粒子で形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記光散乱部材は、有機高分子物質により構成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導光板の下部に具備され、前記背面で漏出された光を前記出射面側に反射させる反射板を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導光板の前記ディスプレーユニット側に具備され、前記導光板に入射された光の光束を前記ディスプレーユニット方向に集光させる光調節手段を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 光を発生させる第1ランプ及び第2ランプで構成された光源と、
前記第1ランプ及び第2ランプに隣接した第1入光面及び第2入光面、前記光が放出される出射面及び前記出射面に対向する背面で構成された導光板と、を含み、
前記背面には、前記光源から入射された光を前記出射面の方向に均一に出射させるためのドット形状のパターンが形成され、また前記導光板の内部には入射光を散乱させる光散乱部材が具備され、
前記ドット形状のパターンは、PMMAを主材料として前記第1ランプ及び第2ランプに隣接した前記導光板の両端部より前記背面において中央部に行くに従い密にスクリーン印刷により形成され、前記導光板の出射面に向かう光の入射角が前記導光板の臨界角以下になるように前記光源から入射された光を乱反射するパターンであって、
光散乱部材は、第1ランプ及び第2ランプにそれぞれ隣接した前記導光板の両端部より、前記中央部に行くに従い密に形成され、
前記光散乱部材の総体積は、前記導光板全体体積の10%以下であることを特徴とするバックライトアセンブリ。 - 前記導光板の下部に具備され、前記背面から漏出された光を前記出射面側に反射させる反射板を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
- 前記導光板の出射面側に具備され、前記導光板から出射される光を集光させる光調節手段を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のバックライトアセンブリ。
