Description
摺動相手材(シリンダ)にアルミニウム合金を使用し、135℃×13MPaの条件で評価試験を実施したところ、特許文献2に提案された変性PTFEに炭素繊維とグラファイトを充填した材料では、摺動相手材であるシリンダの摩耗はさほど大きくなかったが、シール装置自体の摩耗およびはみ出し損傷による厚さ変化が大きく、耐久性は低く、漏れ量も多かった。一方、特許文献3に提案されたように、変性PTFEに炭素繊維とブロンズ粉を充填した材料では、摺動相手材であるシリンダの摩耗が大きくなり、漏れ量も多かった。
PTFE:三井・デュポンフロロケミカル社製テフロン(登録商標)7−J(平均粒径35μm),
変性PTFE:同社製テフロン(登録商標)70−J(平均粒径35μm),
炭素繊維:呉羽化学工業社製タイプM−101S(平均繊維直径14.5μm、平均長さ120μm)、
グラファイト:オリエンタル産業社製合成黒鉛粉末(平均粒径18μm)、
真鍮粉:福田金属箔工業社製Bra−At−100(Cu70−Zn30)、
ブロンズ粉:同社製Bro−At−100(Cu90−Sn10)、
酸化亜鉛ウィスカ:株式会社アムテック社製のシランカップリング剤表面処理型三次元酸化亜鉛ウィスカ:パナテトラ(登録商標)(針状基部の径:0.2〜3μm、針状部の長さ:2〜50μm)。
実施例1〜3ではPTFEを、実施例4〜6では変性PTFEを使用し、下記配合組成の充填材入りふっ素樹脂組成物からシール装置を作製した。
実施例2:PTFE55%に、炭素繊維10%と真鍮粉末20%と酸化亜鉛ウィスカ15%とを配合した組成物;
実施例3:PTFE50%に、炭素繊維10%と真鍮粉末20%と酸化亜鉛ウィスカ20%とを配合した組成物;
実施例4:変性PTFE80%に、炭素繊維5%と真鍮粉末5%と酸化亜鉛ウィスカ10%とを配合した組成物;
実施例5:変性PTFE75%に、炭素繊維5%と真鍮粉末10%と酸化亜鉛ウィスカ10%とを配合した組成物;
実施例6:変性PTFE70%に、炭素繊維10%と真鍮粉末10%と酸化亜鉛ウィスカ10%とを配合した組成物;
実施例7:変性PTFE65%に、炭素繊維10%と真鍮粉末15%と酸化亜鉛ウィスカ10%とを配合した組成物。
比較例1:変性PTFE50%に、炭素繊維10%と真鍮粉末30%と酸化亜鉛ウィスカ10%とを配合した、真鍮粉を多く含む組成物;
比較例2:PTFE55%に、炭素繊維10%と真鍮粉末10%と酸化亜鉛ウィスカ25%とを配合した、酸化亜鉛ウィスカを多く含む組成物。
比較例4:変性PTFE75%に、炭素繊維5%とグラファイト10%と真鍮粉末10%とを配合した、従来からの組成物に真鍮粉末を加えた組成物。
比較例6:変性PTFE75%に、炭素繊維5%とグラファイト10%と亜鉛粉末10%とを配合した、従来からの組成物に亜鉛粉末を加えた組成物。
従来例1:変性PTFE85%に炭素繊維5%とグラファイト10%とを配合した、特許文献2に提案された組成物;。
従来例2:変性PTFE60%に炭素繊維10%とブロンズ粉末30%とを配合した、特許文献3に提案された組成物。
Claims (3)
- ポリテトラフルオロエチレンおよび1質量%以下のふっ素含有コモノマとのテトラフルオロエチレン共重合体から選ばれた少なくとも1種のふっ素樹脂50〜85質量%、炭素繊維5〜10質量%、銅−亜鉛系合金粉末5〜20質量%、ならびに三次元針状結晶構造を持つ酸化亜鉛ウィスカ5〜20質量%からなる組成物の成形体から製作された摺動部材。
- 流体圧機器における相対的に往復運動および/または回転運動する部材間の流体圧力をシールするためのシール装置であって、請求項1記載の摺動部材から構成されたことを特徴とするシール装置。
- 前記流体圧機器が自動車用パワーステアリングのバルブ装置である、請求項2記載のシール装置。
