Claims (7)
- 外装部品を支持するブラケットが外周に取り付けられたシリンダ内にピストンを摺動可能に納めた単筒式油圧緩衝器において、
ピストンの移動範囲である内周面を実質的に変形させることなく外周面に凹部を形成した前記シリンダに前記ブラケットの筒状部を嵌合し、前記ブラケットの筒状部の周方向の一部を前記凹部内に局部的に張出し変形させるのみで、該ブラケットを前記シリンダに回転方向及び軸方向共に移動不能に接合固定したことを特徴とする単筒式油圧緩衝器。 - 前記シリンダに形成した凹部が、周方向に細長い矩形状をなしていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の単筒式油圧緩衝器。
- 前記ブラケットが、センサ等の外装部品を支持するためのサポートであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の単筒式油圧緩衝器。
- 前記シリンダの肉厚に対する前記凹部の深さは、前記シリンダの肉厚の10〜20%程度であることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3の何れかに記載の単筒式油圧緩衝器。
- 外装部品を支持するブラケットが外周に取り付けられたシリンダ内にピストンを摺動可能に納めた単筒式油圧緩衝器におけるブラケットの取付方法であって、
ピストンの移動範囲である内周面を実質的に変形させることなく前記シリンダの外周面に予め凹部を形成し、前記シリンダに嵌合させた前記ブラケットの筒状部の周方向の一部をポンチにより前記凹部内に局部的に張出し変形させるのみで、該ブラケットを前記シリンダに回転方向及び軸方向共に移動不能に接合固定することを特徴とする単筒式油圧緩衝器におけるブラケットの取付方法。 - 前記シリンダの外周面に周方向に細長い矩形状の凹部を形成し、ポンチとして、前記凹部の形状に相似させた扁平形状の押込部を有するものを用いることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の単筒式油圧緩衝器におけるブラケットの取付方法。
- ポンチによりブラケットを局部的に前記シリンダの凹部に張出し変形させる際、前記シリンダに挿入したマンドレルに設けた可動ダイを半径外方向へ移動させて、前記凹部の背面側をバックアップすることを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載の単筒式油圧緩衝器におけるブラケットの取付方法。
