Description
第1の実施の形態に係る車載機器制御装置1は、車両のステアリングに装着された力覚付与型入力装置100と、力覚付与型入力装置100の入力操作を所定の操作経路で行なうための操作経路データが記憶された記憶部200と、車両のステアリングの回転に応じて出力される回転角検出信号と記憶部200の操作経路データから、力覚付与型入力装置100の所定の操作経路を変換する演算を行ない、演算の結果に基づいて力覚付与型入力装置100に力覚の付与を行なう制御部300と、を有して構成される。
図4(a)は、ステアリング20が反時計方向にθだけ回転した場合の力覚付与型入力装置100の姿勢と操作ノブ120の経路パターンを示す図である。図4(b)は、表示モニタ30に表示されるオーディオ機器の操作経路パターンを示す例の図である。図4(c)は、ステアリング20の回転角がゼロの場合の力覚付与型入力装置100の操作ノブ120の経路パターンを示す図である。
この場合は、(x0,y0)のテーブルとして記憶部200に記憶されている操作経路データ202を基に、操作ノブ120の操作経路パターンが規制される。この操作経路パターンは、表示モニタ30に表示される操作経路パターンとスケールが異なる相似パターンである。
図4(d)は、ステアリング20の回転角がθ(≠0)の場合の力覚付与型入力装置100の操作ノブ120の経路パターンを示す図である。ステアリング20の回転に伴い、舵角センサ22から制御部300へ回転検出角(θ)が入力される。

上記の新たな操作経路データ(x1,y1)で規定される操作経路パターンは、図4(d)に示すように、操作経路データ(x0,y0)で規定される操作経路パターンをθだけ時計回転させたものであり、表示モニタ30に表示される操作経路パターンとスケールが異なる相似パターン、すなわち、同じ向きの操作経路パターンである。よって、ステアリング20が回転しても、運転者は、表示モニタ30の表示に従って力覚付与型入力装置100の操作ノブ120を操作すればよいことになる。

に示すような回転逆変換の演算処理が行なわれ、この新たな操作経路データ(x´,y´)により車両機器10に操作信号が送信されることで車載機器20の正常な遠隔操作が行なわれる。
第1の実施の形態に係る車載機器制御装置によれば、以下のような効果を有する。
(1)ステアリング20が回転しても、表示モニタに表示された操作経路のパターンと同じ操作が可能となるので、運転者が操作ノブを操作して車載機器を遠隔操作し易く、誤った操作の抑制が可能となる。
(2)力覚付与型入力装置100により、操作ノブを操作するときに力覚を付与することができるので、車両の振動があっても操作ノブの操作フィーリングを的確に感得することが可能となる。
(3)記憶部200に種々の車載機器のデータを記憶させ、切り替えによって車載機器ごとの操作経路パターンを表示モニタ30に表示できるので、ステアリング20に搭載された力覚付与型入力装置100により種々の車載機器の遠隔操作が可能となる。
第1の実施の形態では、ステアリング20の回転角に応じて力覚付与型入力装置100における操作ノブ120の経路パターンを回転変換して、表示モニタ30に表示される操作経路パターンと同じ向きになるように力覚制御を行なったが、第2の実施の形態では、ステアリング20の回転角が小さい時や、車両の走行速度が大きい時には、操作ノブ120の経路パターンを回転変換しない方が好ましい場合がある。
角度判断ステップS1は、舵角センサ22から出力される回転検出角(θ)と記憶部200に記憶された判断データ203(閾角θ0)との比較を行う。回転検出角(θ)、すなわち、ステアリング20の回転角θが閾角θ0より大きい場合は次のステップS2へ進み、閾角θ0より小さい場合は、制御部300での回転変換を行なわずにS4ステップへ進む。
速度判断ステップS2は、走行速度vと記憶部200に記憶された判断データ203(閾速度v0)との比較を行う。走行速度vは、図示しない速度計から出力される速度を使用する。走行速度vが閾速度v0より小さい場合は次のステップS3へ進み、閾速度v0より大きい場合は、制御部300での回転変換を行なわずにS4ステップへ進む。
回転変換ステップS3は、第1の実施の形態における制御部300での回転変換と同様である。すなわち、制御部300は、回転角θと記憶部200に記憶されている操作経路データ202である(x0,y0)テーブルとから回転変換する演算処理を行ない、回転変換後の新たな操作経路データ(x1,y1)を生成する。
回転検出角θが閾角θ0より大きく、かつ、走行速度vが閾速度v0より小さい場合は、回転変換ステップS3により新たな操作経路データ(x1,y1)が生成されるので、これに基づいて力覚付与型入力装置100に力覚が付与され、これにより第1の実施の形態と同様の作用がなされる。
第1の実施の形態の効果に加えて、次のような効果を有する。すなわち、ステアリング20の回転角が所定の量より小さい場合は、運転者のステアリング把持位置に変化がないことが想定されるので、ステアリングの回転と一緒に回転する力覚付与型入力装置100の回転変換を行なわずに、操作経路データ(x0,y0)で規定される所定の操作経路パターンに沿った動きをするほうが操作する上での違和感が少ない。
第1の実施の形態では、ステアリング20の回転角に応じて力覚付与型入力装置100における操作ノブ120の経路パターンを回転変換して、表示モニタ30に表示される操作経路パターンと同じ向きになるように力覚制御を行なったが、第3の実施の形態では、制御部300における回転変換の演算処理を行なわずに力覚の付与を行なう方式とする。
第3の実施の形態によれば、制御部300における回転変換の演算処理が不要になるので、制御部300でのアルゴリズムが簡単化できる。また、上記示した45°間隔をより細かい間隔の力覚パターン、例えば、10°間隔の力覚パターン等とすることで、表示モニタ30の表示方向と略一致した力覚パターンにより、違和感のない操作が可能となる。

Claims (3)
- 力覚を付与しながら所定の操作経路で車両に搭載された車両機器の遠隔操作を行なう前記車両のステアリングに装着された力覚付与型入力装置と、
前記力覚付与型入力装置の入力操作を所定の操作経路で行なうための操作経路データが記憶された記憶部と、
前記車両のステアリングの回転に応じて出力される回転角検出信号と前記記憶部の前記操作経路データから、前記力覚付与型入力装置の前記所定の操作経路データを変換する演算処理を行ない、前記ステアリングが回転しても一定の操作経路パターンを操作方向がステアリングが回転していない状態と同じとなるよう前記力覚付与型入力装置に力覚の付与を行なう制御部と、
を有することを特徴とする車載機器制御装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記回転角検出信号と所定の閾角との比較を行い、この比較結果に基づいて前記演算を行なうか否かの判断を行う判断部、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車載機器制御装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記車両の走行速度と所定の閾速度との比較を行い、この比較結果に基づいて前記演算を行なうか否かの判断を行う判断部、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車載機器制御装置。
