つぎに、図1および図9〜14を用いてこの発明の実施の形態2について説明する。実施の形態2では、非発泡層を基材としたインプラント材52にレーザ光を照射して、非発泡層の表面層に発泡層(非発泡層を改質した新たな加工層)を形成する。そして、この発泡層の形成によって、発泡層と非発泡層からなる二層構造のインプラント材を作成する。
Claims (41)
- 人間以外の動物の骨とインプラント材を接合する骨の接合方法において、
前記骨とインプラント材との接合位置にレーザ光を照射して前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる接合ステップを含むことを特徴とする骨の接合方法。 - 前記接合ステップは、前記レーザ光の照射によって溶融させたインプラント材を前記骨に開けられた穴に流し込むよう前記骨とインプラント材との接合位置にレーザ光を照射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨の接合方法。
- 前記接合ステップは、前記レーザ光の照射によって膨張させたインプラント材を前記骨に開けられた穴に充填させるよう前記骨とインプラント材との接合位置にレーザ光を照射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨の接合方法。

前記接合ステップは、前記開口ステップであけた穴を介して前記骨とインプラント材との接合位置にレーザ光を照射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨の接合方法。 - 前記接合ステップは、前記骨またはインプラント材に予めあけられた穴を介して前記骨とインプラント材との接合位置にレーザ光を照射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨の接合方法。
- 前記接合ステップは、
前記骨とインプラント材との接合位置にレーザ光を照射して前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際の前記骨および/またはインプラント材の加工状態を検出する加工状態検出ステップと、
検出した加工状態に応じて前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際の前記骨および/またはインプラント材の加工条件を決定する加工条件決定ステップと、
決定した加工条件に基づいて、前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際のレーザ光の照射を制御する制御ステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨の接合方法。 - 前記接合ステップは、
前記骨とインプラント材との接合位置にレーザ光を照射して前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際の前記骨とインプラント材とを密着させる密着ステップと、
前記骨とインプラント材との密着状態および/または要求強度に応じて前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際の前記骨および/またはインプラント材の加工条件を決定する加工条件決定ステップと、
決定した加工条件に基づいて、前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際のレーザ光の照射を制御する制御ステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨の接合方法。 - 前記接合ステップは、
前記骨とインプラント材との接合位置にレーザ光を照射して前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際の前記骨とインプラント材とを密着させる密着ステップと、
前記骨とインプラント材との接合位置にレーザ光を照射して前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際の前記骨および/またはインプラント材の加工状態を検出する加工状態検出ステップと、
前記骨とインプラント材との密着状態、要求強度および/または検出した加工状態に応じて前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際の前記骨および/またはインプラント材の加工条件を決定する加工条件決定ステップと、
決定した加工条件に基づいて、前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際のレーザ光の照射を制御する制御ステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨の接合方法。 - 前記接合ステップは、
前記骨の欠損部に前記インプラント材を挿入する挿入工程と、
前記骨の欠損部に挿入されたインプラント材に前記レーザ光を照射して前記インプラント材を溶融させる溶融工程と、
前記レーザ光で前記骨を燃焼させるとともに、溶融した前記インプラント材に前記骨の燃焼によって生じるガス雰囲気の中で発泡状態の気泡を発生させる発泡工程と、
前記インプラント材への前記レーザ光の照射を停止することによって前記発泡状態の気泡を閉じ込めて凝固させた発泡層を前記インプラント材に生成し、凝固させた発泡層と前記骨とを接合する凝固工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨の接合方法。 - 前記インプラント材は、アパタイトであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨の接合方法。
- 骨および/またはインプラント材にレーザ光を照射して骨および/またはインプラント材のレーザ加工を行うレーザ加工装置において、
前記骨とインプラント材との接合位置にレーザ光を照射して前記骨に穴をあけるとともに前記インプラント材を溶融させ、前記骨にあけた穴に溶融したインプラント材を充填させるレーザ照射部と、
前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際の前記骨および/またはインプラント材の加工条件を決定する加工条件決定部と、
前記加工条件決定部が決定した加工条件に基づいて、前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際のレーザ光の照射を制御する制御部と、
を備えることを特徴とするレーザ加工装置。 - 前記レーザ照射部が前記接合位置にレーザ光を照射して前記骨とインプラント材とを接合させる際の前記骨および/またはインプラント材の加工状態を検出する加工状態検出部をさらに備え、
前記加工条件決定部は、前記加工状態検出部が検出した加工状態に応じて前記骨および/またはインプラント材の加工条件を決定することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のレーザ加工装置。 - 前記レーザ照射部は、前記骨またはインプラント材にレーザ光を照射して前記骨またはインプラント材の穴あけ処理を行なうとともに、前記加工状態検出部は前記骨またはインプラント材の穴あけ処理を行なう際の加工状態を検出し、かつ前記加工条件決定部は前記骨またはインプラント材の穴あけ処理を行なう際の加工条件を決定し、かつ前記制御部は前記骨またはインプラント材の穴あけ処理を行なう際のレーザ光の照射を制御することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のレーザ加工装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記レーザ照射部が照射するレーザ光のエネルギーレベルを制御するエネルギーレベル制御部を有することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のレーザ加工装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記レーザ照射部が照射するレーザ光の種類の切替えを制御するレーザ切替制御部を有することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のレーザ加工装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記レーザ照射部が照射するレーザ光の焦点位置を制御する焦点位置制御部を有することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のレーザ加工装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記レーザ照射部が照射するレーザ光のビームオン時間を制御することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のレーザ加工装置。
- 前記加工状態検出部は、前記骨および/またはインプラント材の輝度を検出する輝度検出部を有し、
前記加工条件決定部は、前記輝度検出部が検出した輝度に応じた加工条件を決定することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のレーザ加工装置。 - 前記加工状態検出部は、前記骨および/またはインプラント材へのレーザ照射時間を計測する時間計測部を有し、
前記加工条件決定部は、前記時間計測部が計測したレーザ照射時間に応じた加工条件を決定することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のレーザ加工装置。 - 成形済みの緻密質基体で形成された基部層と、
前記基部層のうち骨との間で接合対象となる接合部に前記骨の燃焼によって生じるガス雰囲気中で所定の表面処理を施すことによって生成された層であって発泡状態の気泡を閉じ込めて凝固させた発泡層と、
を備えることを特徴とするインプラント材。 - 前記発泡層は、当該発泡層が前記表面処理された側から前記発泡層の表面を研磨または研削されることによって前記気泡の断面が露出させられていることを特徴とする請求項20に記載のインプラント材。
- 前記発泡層は、前記気泡の径および/または気泡の密度を変化させた層が複数種類組み合わせられていることを特徴とする請求項20に記載のインプラント材。
- 前記基部層はアパタイトであり、前記発泡層は発泡アパタイトであることを特徴とする請求項20に記載のインプラント材。
- 前記基部層は、非発泡層であることを特徴とする請求項20に記載のインプラント材。
- 前記発泡層は、前記非発泡層である基部層の前記接合部に熱源が照射されて形成されていることを特徴とする請求項24に記載のインプラント材。
- 体外で骨に熱源を照射して前記骨を燃焼させる骨燃焼工程と、
前記骨の燃焼によって生じるガス雰囲気の中で前記熱源を焼結済みのインプラント材に照射して前記インプラント材を溶融させ、溶融したインプラント材に発泡状態の気泡を閉じ込めて凝固させた発泡層を生成する発泡層生成工程と、
を含むことを特徴とするインプラント材製造方法。 - 前記発泡層生成工程の後に、前記インプラント材が熱源を照射された側から前記発泡層の表面を研磨または研削して前記気泡の断面を露出させる気泡露出工程をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項26に記載のインプラント材製造方法。
- 前記発泡層生成工程は、前記気泡の径および/または気泡の密度を変化させた層で、かつ前記発泡層に要求される細胞浸潤性または強度に応じた層を複数種類組み合わせた発泡層を、前記熱源の照射を制御することによって生成することを特徴とする請求項26または27に記載のインプラント材製造方法。
- 体外で骨に熱源を照射して前記骨を燃焼させる骨燃焼工程と、
前記骨の燃焼によって生じるガス雰囲気の中でインプラント材を焼結させるとともに、前記インプラント材に発泡状態の気泡を閉じ込めて凝固させた発泡層を生成する発泡層生成工程と、
を含むことを特徴とするインプラント材製造方法。 - 成形済みの緻密質基体で形成されたインプラント材に熱源を照射して前記インプラント材に新たな加工層を生成するインプラント材製造装置において、
前記インプラント材に隣接配置された骨を前記熱源によって燃焼させるとともに、前記インプラント材のうち表面改質の対象となる表面改質位置に前記熱源を照射して前記表面改質位置のインプラント材を溶融させ、前記骨の燃焼によって生じるガス雰囲気中で前記表面改質位置のインプラント材を発泡焼結させる熱源照射部と、
前記インプラント材の表面改質処理を行う際の前記インプラント材の加工条件を決定する加工条件決定部と、
前記加工条件決定部が決定した加工条件に基づいて、前記インプラント材の表面改質処理を行う際の熱源の照射を制御する制御部と、
を備えることを特徴とするインプラント材製造装置。 - 前記レーザ照射部が前記表面改質位置に熱源を照射して前記インプラント材の表面改質を行う際のインプラント材の加工状態を検出する加工状態検出部をさらに備え、
前記加工条件決定部は、前記加工状態検出部が検出した加工状態に応じて前記インプラント材の加工条件を決定することを特徴とする請求項30に記載のインプラント材製造装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記レーザ照射部が照射する熱源のエネルギーレベルを制御するエネルギーレベル制御部を有することを特徴とする請求項30に記載のインプラント材製造装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記レーザ照射部が照射する熱源の種類の切替えを制御する熱源切替制御部を有することを特徴とする請求項30に記載のインプラント材製造装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記熱源照射部が照射する熱源の焦点位置を制御する焦点位置制御部を有することを特徴とする請求項30に記載のインプラント材製造装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記熱源照射部が照射する熱源の照射オン時間を制御することを特徴とする請求項30に記載のインプラント材製造装置。
- 前記加工状態検出部は、前記インプラント材の輝度を検出する輝度検出部を有し、
前記加工条件決定部は、前記輝度検出部が検出した輝度に応じた加工条件を決定することを特徴とする請求項30に記載のインプラント材製造装置。 - 前記加工状態検出部は、インプラント材への熱源照射時間を計測する時間計測部を有し、
前記加工条件決定部は、前記時間計測部が計測した熱源照射時間に応じた加工条件を決定することを特徴とする請求項30に記載のインプラント材製造装置。 - 前記インプラント材は、アパタイトであることを特徴とする請求項30に記載のインプラント材製造装置。
- 前記熱源は、レーザ光、プラズマアーク、電子ビームの少なくとも1つであることを特徴とする請求項30に記載のインプラント材製造装置。
- 骨およびインプラント材にレーザ光を照射して前記骨およびインプラント材のレーザ加工を行うレーザ加工装置において、
前記骨にレーザ光を照射して前記骨に穴をあけ、かつ前記骨に近接配置されたインプラント材にレーザ光を照射することによって前記インプラント材を溶融させるとともに、溶融させた前記インプラント材を膨張させた状態で前記骨の穴内に充填させることによって前記骨と前記インプラント材とを接合するレーザ照射部を備えることを特徴とするレーザ加工装置。 - 前記インプラント材は前記骨の下部側に近接配置され、
前記レーザ照射部は、
前記骨の上部側から前記骨にレーザ光を照射することによって前記骨の上部側から前記インプラント材に到る穴を前記骨にあけ、かつ前記骨にあけた穴を介して前記インプラント材にレーザ光を照射することによって前記インプラント材を溶融させることを特徴とする請求項40に記載のレーザ加工装置。
