Claims (12)
- 帯状に加工された多孔質材料からなる吸音材を空気入りタイヤのトレッド部の内面にタイヤ周方向に沿って配置するようにしたタイヤ騒音低減装置において、前記吸音材をタイヤ周方向の少なくとも一部で2層以上に積層するように巻回してなる環状体を構成し、該環状体の周上の少なくとも1箇所に該環状体の中心側から径方向外向きに見たときの前記吸音材の内側の層と外側の層とが入れ替わる交差部を設け、前記吸音材の長手方向の両端部を該吸音材の最外側の層よりも内側に配置したことを特徴とするタイヤ騒音低減装置。
- 前記吸音材の前記交差部に対応する部位に幅方向の寸法を減少させた一対の狭幅部を形成し、前記交差部において前記一対の狭幅部を前記吸音材の幅方向の互いにずれた位置に配置したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタイヤ騒音低減装置。
- 前記一対の狭幅部のうち一方の狭幅部の幅Daと他方の狭幅部の幅Dbを前記吸音材の最大幅Dに対して0.7≦(Da+Db)/D≦1.0の関係にしたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタイヤ騒音低減装置。
- 前記一対の狭幅部のうち一方の狭幅部の幅Daと他方の狭幅部の幅Dbを0.8≦Da/Db≦1.2の関係にしたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のタイヤ騒音低減装置。
- 前記一対の狭幅部の互いに向かい合う部位に前記吸音材の長手方向と平行に延びる直線部を設け、該直線部の長さを前記吸音材の厚さの3倍〜30倍にしたことを特徴とする請求項2〜4のいずれかに記載のタイヤ騒音低減装置。
- 前記環状体の外周長を前記空気入りタイヤのトレッド部の最大内周長の85%〜99%にしたことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のタイヤ騒音低減装置。
- 前記吸音材の積層された複数の層を留め具を用いて互いに固定したことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のタイヤ騒音低減装置。
- 前記留め具の固定状態での厚さを前記吸音材の積層された複数の層の総厚さの5%〜95%にしたことを特徴とする請求項7に記載のタイヤ騒音低減装置。
- 前記吸音材の積層された複数の層を互いに接着したことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のタイヤ騒音低減装置。
- 前記環状体を周上の任意の位置から角度30度ずつ分割したとき、前記環状体の中心軸を挟んで対向する一対の分割部分の質量差をその重い方の分割部分の質量に対して10%以下にしたことを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のタイヤ騒音低減装置。
- 前記吸音材を構成する多孔質材料の密度が7kg/m3 〜40kg/m3 であり、該多孔質材料の密度(kg/m3 )に対する引裂強さ(N/cm)の比が0.3〜0.9であることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のタイヤ騒音低減装置。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載のタイヤ騒音低減装置を空洞部内に備えたことを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。
