Description
図1は、この発明の実施の形態1に従う電力制御装置を備えた充電スタンド10の概略図である。充電スタンド10は、車両1などの電動車両に搭載される蓄電装置を充電するために専用に設けられた交流電源である。なお、充電スタンド10は直流電源であってもよい。
上述の実施の形態1においては、供給電流の上限値(電流容量)が12アンペアである場合について説明したが、供給電流の上限値は12アンペアよりも大きい値であってもよい。
実施の形態1では、供給電圧を2つの電圧V1,V2のどちらかに設定する場合について説明した。これに対し、実施の形態2では、供給電圧を3つの電圧V1,V2,V3のいずれかに設定する場合について説明する。
Claims (7)
- 外部電源から車両に供給される電力を制御する電力制御装置であって、
前記外部電源の供給電圧値を切替可能な切替部と、
前記外部電源から前記車両に供給可能な電流の最大値である許容電流値を示す信号を前記車両に送信するために生成するとともに、前記切替部を制御することによって前記供給電圧値を制御する制御部とを含み、
前記制御部は、前記制御部の外部から前記制御部の内部に入力される電力指令値に基づいて、前記信号および前記供給電圧値を変更する、電力制御装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記電力指令値に基づいて電流指令値および電圧指令値を設定し、前記許容電流値が前記電流指令値となるように前記信号を生成するとともに、前記供給電圧値が前記電圧指令値となるように前記切替部を制御する、請求項1に記載の電力制御装置。
- 前記許容電流値には下限値および上限値が存在し、
前記制御部は、前記電流指令値が前記下限値から前記上限値までの範囲に含まれかつ前記電流指令値と前記電圧指令値との積が前記電力指令値となるように、前記電流指令値および前記電圧指令値を設定する、請求項2に記載の電力制御装置。 - 前記切替部は、前記供給電圧値を、第1電圧値、および前記第1電圧値よりも高い第2電圧値のいずれかの値に切替可能に構成され、
前記制御部は、前記電力指令値がしきい値よりも小さい場合は、前記第1電圧値を前記電圧指令値に設定するとともに前記電力指令値を前記第1電圧値で除算した値を前記電流指令値に設定し、前記電力指令値が前記しきい値よりも大きい場合は、前記第2電圧値を前記電圧指令値に設定するとともに前記電力指令値を前記第2電圧値で除算した値を前記電流指令値に設定し、
前記しきい値は、前記第2電圧値と前記下限値との積である、請求項3に記載の電力制御装置。 - 前記切替部は、前記供給電圧値を、第1電圧値、前記第1電圧値よりも高い第2電圧値、前記第2電圧値よりも高い第3電圧値のいずれかの値に切替可能に構成され、
前記制御部は、前記電力指令値が第1しきい値よりも小さい場合は、前記第1電圧値を前記電圧指令値に設定するとともに前記電力指令値を前記第1電圧値で除算した値を前記電流指令値に設定し、前記電力指令値が前記第1しきい値から第2しきい値までの範囲に含まれる場合は、前記第2電圧値を前記電圧指令値に設定するとともに前記電力指令値を前記第2電圧値で除算した値を前記電流指令値に設定し、前記電力指令値が前記第2しきい値よりも大きい場合は、前記第3電圧値を前記電圧指令値に設定するとともに前記電力指令値を前記第3電圧値で除算した値を前記電流指令値に設定し、
前記第1しきい値は、前記第2電圧値と前記下限値との積であり、
前記第2しきい値は、前記第3電圧値と前記下限値との積である、請求項3に記載の電力制御装置。 - 前記切替部は、前記外部電源から延びる電力供給線のいずれかの箇所に設けられたスイッチ回路である、請求項1に記載の電力制御装置。
- 前記信号は、前記許容電流値に応じたパルス幅で発振するパイロット信号であり、
前記制御部は、前記パイロット信号を通信線を経由して前記車両に送信し、
前記車両は、前記制御部から受信した前記パイロット信号に基づいて前記車両に搭載される蓄電装置の充電制御を行なう、請求項1に記載の電力制御装置。
