残留率(質量%)=(作業後重量−0.86g)/(作業前重量−0.86g)×100
ここに、0.86gは基板の平均重量である。水溶液18の総量は1200ミリリットルとし、各条件毎に新液を使用した。各液毎にテスト回数n=3まで使用した。但し、液中に残った合金はn=1終了時に濾過して除去した。

上記の各実施例で用いた水溶液18の効果を確認すべく、水(精製水)を用いて剥離試験を行った。水に極板を90分間浸漬させ経過を観察した。温度は15℃及び100℃とした。その結果、浸漬前後の重量にほとんど変化がなく、ほとんど剥離していないことが確認された。
水に極板を5分間浸漬させ、極板の両面をそれぞれ2分間ブラッシングした。ブラッシングは575gのウェイトで荷重を印加させながら行った。これを1サイクルとし、繰り返し実行した。1サイクル終了後水分を除去し、重量を測定した。温度は15℃及び100℃とした。3回の試験結果を残留率(質量%)として以下に示す。
15℃:97.1、96.7、98.1
100℃:99.3、99.7、99.0
このように、いずれもほとんど変化がなく、剥離してないことが確認された。なお、若干の重量減少は端部の欠けによるものであった。
Claims (6)
- 基板に活物質を塗着または充填した極板をセパレータを介して対向させてなる蓄電池用極板の前記基板から前記活物質を剥離する工程において、
前記蓄電池用極板を溶質として燐酸、エトキシアルコール、重フッ化アンモニウム、スルフォン酸、及びキシレンスルフォン酸ナトリウムが含まれる水溶液に浸漬することを特徴とする蓄電池用極板の活物質分離方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
前記水溶液中の各溶質の含有比率は、前記燐酸が15乃至20質量部、前記エトキシアルコールが3乃至7質量部、前記重フッ化アンモニウムが2乃至6質量部、前記スルフォン酸が4乃至8質量部、前記キシレンスルフォン酸ナトリウムが1乃至3質量部であることを特徴とする蓄電池用極板の活物質分離方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
前記活物質を前記基板から剥離する工程で、前記水溶液を攪拌しながら前記蓄電池用極板を前記水溶液中に浸漬し、剥離面の溶液の状態を一定に保つことを特徴とする蓄電池用極板の活物質分離方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
前記極板を前記水溶液に浸漬後、所定荷重で前記極板表面をブラッシングすることを特徴とする蓄電池用極板の活物質分離方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
前記水溶液中の燐酸濃度は、1.5質量%以上20質量%以下であることを特徴とする蓄電池用極板の活物質分離方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
前記水溶液の温度は、30℃であることを特徴とする蓄電池用極板の活物質分離方法。
