[式(1)〜(3)中、W(P)は、潤滑油組成物全量を基準とした、リン化合物の含有量のリン元素換算値を示し、W(M)は、潤滑油組成物全量を基準とした、有機酸塩の含有量のアルカリ土類金属元素換算値を示す。]
本発明の潤滑油組成物によれば、リン化合物と上記特定の有機酸塩とを、リン化合物に含まれるリン元素の含有量及び有機酸塩に含まれるアルカリ土類金属元素の含有量が上記式(1)〜(3)で表される条件を満たすように含有せしめることで、耐摩耗性及びスティックスリップ防止性を十分に向上させることができる。また、本発明の潤滑剤組成物の優れた耐摩耗性により、潤滑油の使用量が少ない用途であっても、摩耗粉の油中濃度の増大による耐摩耗性及びスティックスリップ防止性の長期維持性の低下を十分に抑制することができる。
[実施例1〜6、比較例1〜4]
実施例1〜6及び比較例1〜4においては、それぞれ以下に示す潤滑油基油及び添加剤を用いて、表1又は表2に示す組成を有する潤滑油組成物を調製した。

基油3:溶剤精製鉱油(100℃における動粘度:4mm2/s、粘度指数:95、%Cp:67)

A1:ジ−2−エチルヘキシルフォスファイト(リン含有量:10.1質量%)
(有機酸塩)
B1:カルシウムサリシレート(塩基価:170mgKOH/g)
B2:カルシウムスルフォネート(塩基価:300mgKOH/g)
(その他の添加剤)
C1:ポリメタクリレート系粘度指数向上剤(重量平均分子量:50,000)
C2:添加剤パッケージ(分散剤:60質量%、酸化防止剤:2質量%、腐食防止剤:1質量%、ゴム膨潤剤:6質量%、消泡剤:0.02質量%、摩擦調整剤:10質量%、キャリアオイル:残部)。
(1)耐摩耗性の評価(四球試験)
ASTM D 4172に準拠し、以下の条件により四球試験を行い、摩耗痕径(mm)を測定して耐摩耗性を評価した。得られた結果を表1及び表2に示す。
荷重:294N
回転数:180rpm
試験時間:30分。
(2)スティックスリップ防止性の評価(耐久試験)
前記実施形態の駆動力伝達装置(電子制御カップリング)の差動負荷エネルギーを350Wとし、装置の表面温度が120℃に保持されるように冷却風にて調整した状態で耐久試験を行い、スティックスリップ現象が発生するまでの時間を測定した。得られた結果を、比較例1におけるスティックスリップ現象が発生するまでの時間を1とした相対値として、表1及び表2に示す。
(3)低温始動時特性の評価(実機試験)
−40℃の環境下において、前記実施形態の駆動力伝達装置(電子制御カップリング)の差動回転数を0rpmから200rpmまで10秒スイープで与え、その間の引き摺りトルクの最大値を測定した。このときの電磁コイルの通過電流は0Aとした。各実施例又は比較例の潤滑油組成物を用いたときの引き摺りトルクを、比較例1における引き摺りトルクを1とした相対値として、表1及び表2に示す。
Claims (6)
- ポリ−α−オレフィン及び/又はその水素化物を潤滑油基油全量基準で70質量%以上含有する潤滑油基油と、リン化合物と、アルカリ土類金属スルフォネート、アルカリ土類金属フェネート及びアルカリ土類金属サリシレートから選ばれる少なくとも1種の有機酸塩とを含有し、
前記リン化合物及び前記有機酸塩の含有量がそれぞれ下記式(1)、(2)及び(3)で表される条件を満たし、−40℃におけるBF粘度が10,000mPa・s以下であることを特徴とする駆動力伝達装置用潤滑油組成物。

0.01≦W(M)≦0.2 (2)
0.1≦W(P)/W(M)≦10 (3)
[式(1)〜(3)中、W(P)は、潤滑油組成物全量を基準とした、リン化合物の含有量のリン元素換算値を示し、W(M)は、潤滑油組成物全量を基準とした、有機酸塩の含有量のアルカリ土類金属元素換算値を示す。] - 100℃における動粘度が2〜20mm2/sであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の駆動力伝達装置用潤滑油組成物。
- 鉄製摺動部材の摺動によって動力が伝達される駆動力伝達装置であって、
前記摺動部材の摺動面に、請求項1又は2に記載の駆動力伝達装置用潤滑油組成物が介在することを特徴とする駆動力伝達装置。 - 基材の表面に非晶質硬質炭素膜を施した摺動部材と鉄製摺動部材との摺動によって動力が伝達される駆動力伝達装置であって、
前記摺動部材間の摺動面に、請求項1又は2に記載の駆動力伝達装置用潤滑油組成物が介在することを特徴とする駆動力伝達装置。 - 前記非晶質硬質炭素膜はシリコンを1〜80質量%含有することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の駆動力伝達装置。
- 前記非晶質硬質炭素膜の摺動面側の表面粗さは0.3〜10μmRzであることを特徴とする、請求項4又は5に記載の駆動力伝達装置。
