Description
本発明は、タービンエンジンでの使用に適した燃料として、または燃料の配合成分として有用な留出物燃料配合物であって、該留出物燃料配合物が(a)70重量%以上のパラフィン含量及び約0.5から約3の範囲の分岐指数(branching index)を有する少なくとも1種の高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分、及び(b)少なくとも1種の石油由来の留出物燃料成分を含み、ここで留出物燃料配合物が260℃またはそれ以上のASTM D3241の分解点(breakpoint)を有する、留出物燃料配合物に関する。高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分は、少なくとも80重量%のパラフィン含量を有するものが好ましく、90重量%を超えるパラフィン含量を有するものが特に好ましい。本発明の実施に際して使用するのに好適な高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分は、オレフィン類のオリゴマー化及び水素添加、パラフィン類の水素化分解、またはフィッシャー−トロプシュ合成プロセスによって得られる。本発明は、留出物が低温フィッシャー−トロプシュ合成プロセスによって回収される時に特に有利である。石油由来の留出物燃料成分は、例えば水素化分解、水素化処理、流動床接触分解(FCC及びその関連のTCCプロセス)、コークス化、熱分解操作、MEROX(登録商標)プロセス、MINALK(登録商標)プロセスなどの精製操作によって得られる。石油由来の留出物燃料成分は、少なくとも275℃、好ましくは少なくとも290℃、そして最も好ましくは少なくとも300℃の、ASTM D3241の分解点を有するであろう。

- タービンエンジンでの使用に適した燃料として、または燃料の配合成分として有用な留出物燃料配合物であって、該留出物燃料配合物が、
(a)70重量%以上のパラフィン含量及び0.5から3の範囲の分岐指数を有する少なくとも1種の高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分、及び
(b)少なくとも1種の石油由来の留出物燃料成分を含み、ここで留出物燃料配合物が260℃またはそれ以上のASTM D3241の分解点を有する、留出物燃料配合物。 - タービンエンジンでの使用に適した燃料として、または燃料の配合成分として有用な留出物燃料配合物であって、該留出物燃料配合物が、
(a)70重量%以上のパラフィン含量を有し、及び250℃未満で実施される低温フィッシャー−トロプシュ合成プロセスから生成される、少なくとも1種の高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分であって、及び

- 少なくとも1種の石油由来の燃料成分が、300℃以上のASTM D3241の分解点を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の留出物燃料配合物。
- 互いに両立しない性質を有する少なくとも2種の成分を含む安定な留出物燃料配合物を調製する方法であって、該留出物燃料配合物がタービンエンジンでの使用に適した燃料として、または燃料の配合成分として有用であり、該方法が、
(a)少なくとも1種の石油由来の留出物燃料成分と、70重量%以上のパラフィン含量及び0.5から3の範囲の分岐指数を有する少なくとも1種の高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分を配合する工程、
(b)ASTM D3241を用いて工程(a)の配合物の熱安定性を求める工程、
(c)工程(b)の分析法によって求められる予め選定された安定性値を達成すべく工程(a)の配合を修正する工程、及び
(d)ASTM D3241によって求められる、260℃またはそれ以上の分解点を有することによって特徴づけられる留出物燃料配合物を回収する工程、を含む方法。 - 互いに両立しない性質を有する少なくとも2種の成分を含む安定な留出物燃料配合物を調製する方法であって、該留出物燃料配合物がタービンエンジンでの使用に適した燃料として、または燃料の配合成分として有用であり、該方法が、
(a)少なくとも1種の石油由来の留出物燃料成分と、70重量%以上のパラフィン含量を有し、及び250℃未満で実施される低温フィッシャー−トロプシュ合成プロセスから生成される、少なくとも1種の高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分を配合する工程、
(b)ASTM D3241を用いて工程(a)の配合物の熱安定性を求める工程、
(c)工程(b)の分析法によって求められる予め選定された安定性値を達成すべく工程(a)の配合を修正する工程、及び
(d)ASTM D3241によって求められる、260℃またはそれ以上の分解点を有することによって特徴づけられる留出物燃料配合物を回収する工程、を含む方法。 - 工程(c)の配合の修正が、高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分と石油由来の留出物燃料成分の配合比を調整することによって達成される、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)の配合の修正が、高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分の沸点範囲を調整することによって達成される、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)の配合の修正が、高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分の異性化度を調整することによって達成される、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)の配合の修正が、275℃を超えるASTM D3241の分解点を有する少なくとも1種の石油由来の燃料成分を使用することによって達成される、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)の配合の修正が、290℃を超えるASTM D3241の分解点を有する少なくとも1種の石油由来の燃料成分を使用することによって達成される、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)の配合の修正が、300℃を超えるASTM D3241の分解点を有する少なくとも1種の石油由来の燃料成分を使用することによって達成される、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- 配合物中に少なくとも1種の追加成分が存在し、該追加成分が酸化防止剤、分散剤、及びそれらの組合せからなる群から選ばれる、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。

- 工程(d)により回収される留出物燃料配合物が、ASTM D3241によって求められる280℃以上の分解点を有することによって特徴づけられる、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分が、オレフィン類のオリゴマー化及び水素添加に少なくとも部分的に由来する、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- 高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分が、パラフィン類の水素化分解に少なくとも部分的に由来する、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- 高度にパラフィン系の留出物燃料成分が、フィッシャー−トロプシュ合成プロセスに少なくとも部分的に由来する、請求項15に記載の方法。
