D.Tuggle,J.Vac.Sci.Technol.16,p1699(1979)
絶縁碍子5にロウ付けされた一対の導電端子4に、図2に例示した通りに、「S字」のごとく曲部を設けたタングステン製の2本のフィラメント3をスポット溶接により固定した。<100>方位の単結晶タングステン陰極1を2本のフィラメント3で挟むようにスポット溶接により取り付け、図3に示すように陰極1の中心軸に対してフィラメント3が2回対称になるようにした。さらに、陰極1の電子放射部とは異なる端部を、絶縁碍子5の中央部に固定された金属部材6にスポット溶接により固定した。
図4に示す構造で、即ち、絶縁碍子5にロウ付けされた一対の導電端子4の間に「V字」状の1本のフィラメントの側面に陰極を図5に示すようにスポット溶接により固定したこと以外は実施例と同様の方法で作製したものを、実施例と同様に試験を実施した。

Claims (3)
- 電子放射部を有する陰極と、その一部に金属元素の酸化物を拡散源として有する電子源であり、
前記陰極の電子放射部とは異なる端部が絶縁碍子に固定され、
前記陰極が、前記絶縁碍子に設けられた2つの導電端子のそれぞれに接続された2本のフィラメントの先端で挟むようにして接合され、
前記2本のフィラメントが、いずれも、前記陰極との接合部分から前記導電端子に固定されている部分までの間にS字状の曲部を設け、かつ陰極の中心軸に対して2回対称であることを特徴とする電子源。 - 前記陰極の電子放射部とは異なる端部が、絶縁碍子にろう付けされた金属部材を介して絶縁碍子に固定されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電子源。
- 前記陰極がモリブデンまたはタングステンの<100>方位の単結晶からなり、前記拡散源として、陰極の一部にCa、Sr、Ba、Sc、Y、La、Ti、Zr、Hf、またはランタノイド系列から選ばれた金属元素の酸化物を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電子源。
