本発明は、椅子の座の前後位置調整装置に関する。

従来の回転椅子には、背凭れに寄り掛かる座者の荷重により、背凭れが後方に揺動し、かつ座が傾動するとともに前後動するようにしたものがある。このような機構のものは、座者の座り心地を改善し、疲労感をなくすという利点がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
近年のパソコン等のOA機器の普及により、回転椅子において、上述のような座の傾動機構ばかりでなく、背凭れや肘掛けに対する座の前後位置を微妙に調節して、机上のパソコンのキーボード使用時における座者の背凭れ及び肘掛けに対する関係位置を最適に保ちたいという要求が生じている。これは、座者の体格の相違による個人差に基づくものである。

本発明は、上述の問題点に鑑み、簡単な構造により、回転椅子の座の前後位置を調整しうるようにしたことを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明によると、上記課題は、次のようにして解決される。
(1)椅子の支基上の座板取付金具に、左右両側に位置し、かつ前後方向を向くレールを、座板の左右下部を摺動可能に案内するように設け、前記座板及び前記座板取付金具の一方には係合部、同じく他方には、前記係合部が前後方向の複数位置で上下方向に係合可能な被係合部を設け、前記座板の端部を持ち上げることにより、前記係合部と前記被係合部との係合状態が解除されて、前記座板を、前記座板取付金具に対して前後移動させうるようにし、さらに前記レールの底辺に大径孔と、大径孔に引き続いて後方に向かって延びる小径の長孔とからなる取付孔を穿設するとともに、前記座板の裏面に、レールの取付孔における大径孔に対応させて、長孔の幅と同じか、または若干小径とされた軸と、軸の先端に設けられ、大径孔より小径かつ長孔の幅より大径の鍔とからなる鍔付き取付軸を、下方に向かって突設し、前記取付軸における軸の長さは、前記座板を持ち上げて、前記係合部と前記被係合部との係合を解除するのに十分な長さとする。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は、本発明装置の一実施形態を備えるキャスター付き回転椅子の分解斜視図で、キャスター付きの脚(1)の上面中央に、支基(2)が回転自在に装架されている。支基(2)の後部において左右方向に延びる横軸(3)には、背凭れ(4)の左右を支持し、その下端から前方に延びる背杆(5)の先端に設けた左右方向を向く軸筒(6)が軸着されている。座板取付金具(7)の後部左右の軸受部(8)には、背凭れ(4)の背杆(5)の中間位置に設けられた耳片(9)が回動可能に収容され、軸受部(8)の外端には、肘掛け支柱(10)の下端部が取り付けられている。
