Description

The present invention relates to a headlamp for a vehicle, and more particularly to a filament valve mounting structure capable of switching between traveling beam light distribution and passing light distribution, which is called high / low switching in a motorcycle.

In a lamp such as a vehicle headlamp, a light source is used to ensure that the positional relationship between the light source and the reflector is the same in order to obtain a predetermined light distribution and to obtain the same light distribution state even after replacement of the light source bulb. The bulb is configured to be exchangeably fixed at a predetermined position of the reflecting mirror.
FIG. 9 shows this type of headlamp, wherein reference numeral 90 is a vehicle headlamp and reference numeral 94 is a bulb. A bayonet holder 92 including a base portion 92a and a cover portion 92b is provided on the back surface of the reflector 91 of the headlamp 90, and the three bayonet claws 95 provided on the bulb 94 are attached to the bayonet holder 92. Hold and fix.

The bayonet holder 92 is provided with an insertion position IN that allows the bayonet claw 95 to be inserted, and an attachment position FX that gives a specified position to the reflector 91 so that a predetermined light distribution characteristic can be obtained with respect to the bulb 94. . When the valve 95 is mounted, the bayonet claw 95 is held and fixed by the bayonet holder 92 by turning the valve 94 to the mounting position FX after inserting the valve 94 from the back of the reflector in the insertion position IN. To do.

At this time, a connector guide 93 is provided on the base portion 92 a of the bayonet holder 92, and this connector guide 93 is inserted into a power supply connector 97 inserted into the socket 96 of the valve 94. It is supposed to regulate the position of.
That is, the position where the connector guide 93 is provided is a position corresponding to the mounting position FX of the bayonet holder 92, and the connector guide 93 has a hole 93 a having the same shape as the outer diameter of the power feeding connector 97. It is provided at a position where it is necessary to pass through the hole 93a when the power feeding connector 97 is inserted into the socket 96.

When the valve 94 is not rotated to the mounting position FX, the socket 96 does not reach the position corresponding to the hole 93a of the connector guide 93, and the connector guide 93 (the hole 93a) The power supply connector 97 whose position is regulated cannot be inserted into the socket 96.
Accordingly, the power supply connector 96 cannot be inserted unless the valve 94 is reliably rotated to the mounting position FX, and the operation of replacing the valve 94 by an unfamiliar automobile user or the like is performed. In this case, the operator is informed that the rotation to the mounting position FX is insufficient and that the power feeding connector 97 cannot be inserted.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-45604

In the above-described valve fixing structure, power cannot be supplied unless the valve is attached / detached at a predetermined position. However, a separate connector guide 93 has to be provided, and there is a problem in that the number of parts is large and assembly man-hours are required. . Further, when the bulb mounting portion is covered with a rubber cover as a waterproof measure, the connector guide 93 must also be covered, and there is a problem that the entire headlamp is enlarged.

Furthermore, in the case of headlamps for motorcycles,
There is a problem that the headlamp is located around the handle of the motorcycle, and the connector 97 is pulled or the rubber cover is removed due to the force applied to the power supply wire when the handle is moved. was there.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and in the vehicular lamp that is covered with a rubber cover of a bulb provided with a seal in the lamp, an operator who installs the valve can easily perform assembly failure. The purpose is to provide a vehicular lamp that is suppressed by the configuration.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a miniaturizable valve mounting structure in which the rubber cover is not easily detached with a simple structure and the power supply connector is difficult to be detached from the valve.

In order to achieve the above object, the light source mounting structure for a vehicle headlamp of the present invention has the following means. That is, the invention according to claim 1 protrudes further rearward of the light source provided with the bayonet claw, the light source insertion hole to which the bayonet claw is engaged, the rear protruding wall around the insertion hole and the rear protruding wall. A reflector for a vehicle headlamp provided with an obstruction rib; and a rubber cover provided with a wire hole for passing a power supply electric wire on the lower side thereof and in contact with and fitting to the rearward projecting wall, the obstruction rib The position where the power supply connector can be attached to the light source only when the light source is in the proper installation position, and the position where the power supply connector with the power supply cable connected is obstructed from rotating after the power supply connector is attached to the light source. The insertion direction of the power supply connector to the light source is substantially perpendicular to the setting direction of the rubber cover, and a plurality of circumferential protrusions are provided on the inner surface of the peripheral edge of the rubber cover. It is characterized by It is characterized in the light source attachment structure of the dual headlight.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, when the light source insertion hole and the light source are attached, the inhibition rib can attach the power supply connector to the light source only when the light source is in a normal attachment position. Since the light source can always emit light at a normal position when it is turned on, a light distribution failure due to a failure during light source assembly does not occur. In addition, for the assembled light source, power supply connector, and rubber cover, even when the power supply cable is pulled by force, the insertion direction of the power supply connector, the setting direction of the rubber cover, and the inhibition rib Since the power supply connector cannot be removed easily from the setting, it has a structure in which failure such as unlighting is unlikely to occur.

As described above, the headlamp that is required to have a desired light distribution during the assembly of the light source, the replacement of the light source, and the traveling is a headlamp that does not cause a light distribution failure or non-lighting. Safe light distribution can be provided to the driver or oncoming vehicle.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

1 and 2 show a headlamp for a motorcycle according to a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1 is a rear view (a direction opposite to the irradiation direction of a lamp, that is, a back side). FIG. 2A is a view as viewed from the side, and FIG. 2B is a view as viewed from the bottom.
The headlamp 1 includes a housing 2 that opens forward (a direction that is directly opposite to the illumination direction of the lamp) and a transparent outer cover 3 that covers the opening. A reflecting mirror 4 is formed in the housing 2. Yes. A bulb mounting portion 5 is provided at the center of the reflecting mirror 4. A vehicle body mounting portion 6 is provided at the upper portion of the housing and is fixed to a two-wheeled vehicle (not shown) with screws or the like. In this embodiment, the housing 2 and the reflecting mirror 4 are integrally molded. Reference numeral 7 is a semi-cylindrical waterproofing gutter provided so as to surround the upper side of the bulb mounting portion above the bulb mounting portion 5 on the back side of the reflecting mirror 4.

The bulb mounting portion 5 is formed with a bulb insertion hole 11 for inserting a light source portion 81 of a bulb 8 to be described later from the rear of the headlamp 1, a reflector flange portion 12, a rear protruding wall 13, and a separation inhibiting rib 14. Yes.
The valve insertion hole 11 is formed so that the center thereof coincides with the central axis of the valve 8. The reflector flange portion 12 is provided with a large-diameter portion 12a capable of penetrating three bayonet claws 82a provided in the bulb 8 and three small-diameter portions 12b engaged by the bayonet claws 82a at predetermined positions. ing. At least one of the bayonet claws 82a has a different size or shape when compared with the other bayonet claws, and is formed so that it is difficult to attach the valve 8 at a position other than a predetermined position.

The rear protruding wall 13 is integrally formed in a cylindrical shape so as to surround the valve insertion hole 11 with a size protruding rearward from the valve flange portion 82b in a state where the valve 8 is attached. The inhibition ribs 14 are obliquely positioned below the rear protruding wall 13 and are formed so as to protrude rearward as shown in FIG. 3B integrally with the reflecting mirror 4 at positions outside the large diameter portion 12a. . When the valve 8 is rotated so that the bayonet claw 8a is engaged with the bayonet claw 8a in order to attach or detach the valve 8, the rearward protrusion amount of the obstructing rib 14 interferes when the power supply connector 83 described later is not attached. However, in a state where a power supply connector 83 to be described later is attached, the size is such that it interferes, that is, the power supply connector 83 or the power supply wire 83a collides and inhibits rotation.

4A and 4B show the valve 8, in which FIG. 4A is a side view and FIG. 4B is a view showing the back side where a terminal for supplying power to the valve is exposed. The bulb 8 is a so-called HS5 bulb, and is a double filament type in which a traveling filament 81a and a passing filament 81b are provided inside the light source portion 81 in a direction orthogonal to the bulb central axis. The socket portion 82 is provided with a bayonet claw 82a, a valve flange portion 82b, a seal rubber 82c, an electrode terminal 82d and a terminal outer wall 82f, and a connector guide 82e is provided below the terminal outer wall 82f. Thus, a waterproof structure is formed when it is attached to the reflecting mirror.

When the bulb 8 is attached to the reflecting mirror 4, it is performed as follows.
This is performed with the power supply connector 83 not attached to the valve. That is, as shown in FIG. 5, the light source portion 81 is inserted into the bulb insertion hole 11 from the rear at a predetermined position, and the terminal outer wall 82f is sandwiched from both ends and rotated clockwise (FIG. 5 shows the middle of rotation). The connector guide 82e is made to reach a predetermined position on the lower side. As a result, the bayonet claws 82a are engaged and fixed. At this time, the seal rubber 82c is sandwiched between the reflecting mirror flange portion 12 and the valve flange portion 82b, thereby preventing water from entering (see FIG. 8). After the bulb 8 is attached to a predetermined position of the reflecting mirror 4, the power supply connector 83 is inserted along the connector guide 82e from below to electrically connect the electrode terminal 82d and the power supply wire 83a.

6A and 6B show the headlamp in which the valve 8 is being mounted (in the middle of rotation) and the power supply connector 83 is assembled. FIG. 6A is a side view, and FIG. . The headlamp 1 to which the power supply connector 83 is attached needs to rotate the valve in order to remove the bulb 8, and in the present embodiment, rotate counterclockwise to remove the engagement state by the bayonet claw 82a. As shown in FIG. 6, the power supply connector 83 and the inhibition rib 14 interfere with each other and cannot be removed.

What shows this point in detail is a partially enlarged view of the vicinity of the separation inhibiting rib 14 of FIG. FIG. 7A is an enlarged view seen from the side surface direction of FIG. 6B, and FIG. 7B is an enlarged view showing the state seen from the bottom surface direction of FIG. It is a figure and shows the state which shifted | deviated slightly from the predetermined normal position. The blocking rib 14 can be inserted when the position where the power feeding connector 83 is inserted becomes a predetermined normal position, but is provided with an appropriate distance that hinders insertion of the power feeding connector 83 when the position is not the predetermined position. There are two places. As a result, when the valve 8 is mounted at a position other than the predetermined mounting position (see FIG. 7B), the socket insertion opening 82g and the obstruction rib 14 are overlapped with each other. Can not be. That is, the engagement with the incomplete bayonet claw, in other words, the traveling beam filament and the passing beam filament are not in a predetermined position, and the light distribution state of the headlamp 1 is prevented from being in an incomplete state.
Conversely, when the valve 8 is removed, the feeding connector 83 or the feeding wire 83a interferes with the obstructing rib 14, that is, prevents the valve 8 from dropping due to the bayonet claw coming off due to collision when rotating. (See FIG. 7A).

FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view of a main part showing a state after the rubber cover is provided.
A rubber cover 20 is watertightly attached to the bulb 8 attached at a predetermined position of the reflecting mirror 4 so as to cover these from the rear side with the power supply connector 83 attached. The rubber cover 20 is provided with a plurality of circumferential protrusions on the inner surface 21 of the peripheral edge portion, and a wire hole 22 through which a power supply wire 83a is passed is formed below. In order to prevent intrusion of water from the wire hole 22, the wire hole 21 has a shape extending in a cylindrical shape downward, and a lower end portion thereof is fixed to the power supply wire by a waterproof tape or the like (not shown). Further, the inner peripheral surface 21 is fitted in contact with the outer surface of the rear protruding wall 13 of the reflecting mirror 4.

The power supply wire 83a may be pulled during operation or during travel. In this case, since the rubber cover 8 and the power supply wire 83a are fastened, there arises a problem that the rubber cover 8 is pulled to lower the waterproof property, and the power supply connector 83 is pulled to turn off the light due to poor conduction. However, since the assembly direction of the power supply connector 83 to the valve is from below and the assembly direction of the rubber cover 8 is from the rear,
The force for removing the rubber cover 8 is held by the force of the power supply connector 83, and the force for removing the power supply connector 83 is held by the rigidity of the rubber cover 8, so that it does not easily come off.

Furthermore, in the present embodiment, since the inhibition rib 14 is formed to protrude rearward in the lower region of the rearward projecting wall 13, the cost of the rubber cover 8 is increased by the amount of contact with the inhibition rib 14. . Therefore, it is difficult to remove the rubber cover 8 in such a case.

With the configuration as described above, the overall size of the valve mounting portion provided with the rubber cover 8 can be reduced. Thereby, the capacity | capacitance of the attachment space to a vehicle body can be made small, and it can contribute to size reduction of a vehicle.

Further, when the valve 8 is mounted, the valve 8 can be mounted only at a predetermined normal position by the mounting structure using the inhibition rib 14 and the bayonet claw. This prevents assembly failure. At this time, since the inhibition rib 14 is provided below, the valve 8 can be easily grasped when the valve 8 is rotated, and the rubber cover can be made difficult to come off.

Further, since the assembly direction of the rubber cover and the power supply socket is set at a substantially right angle, the rubber cover and the power supply socket are held together so that the rubber cover and the power supply socket are not easily detached from each other.

The light source mounting structure for a vehicle headlamp according to the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and, for example, within a range that does not depart from the gist of the present invention such as a valve other than the HS5 valve. Of course, various changes can be made.
