Claims (3)
- エンジンケースをアッパーケースとロアーケースとを備えた分割構造とし、その合わせ面を車両側面視で直線状に形成し、上記合わせ面の位置に車幅方向に延びるクランク軸と変速入力軸と二次バランサー軸とを軸支し、上記変速入力軸に回転駆動される変速出力軸を上記ロアーケースに軸支した自動二輪車のエンジにおいて、上記ロアーケースの一方の側壁に、上記変速出力軸を外部から上記エンジンケースの内部に挿入可能にする円形の変速出力軸挿通開口部を設け、この変速出力軸挿通開口部の内径を変速出力軸に軸装される最大外径の変速ドリブンギヤよりも大きく形成するとともに、変速出力軸の一端を軸支する軸受を保持する偏心軸受ホルダーを変速出力軸挿通開口部にエンジンケースの外側から着脱可能に設け、上記偏心軸受ホルダーの中心に対し変速出力軸の軸心を上記変速入力軸側に偏心させたことを特徴とする自動二輪車のエンジン。
- 上記合わせ面を車両側面視で前下がりに傾斜させ、車両進行方向前方より上記二次バランサー軸、クランク軸、変速入力軸の順に配置したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動二輪車のエンジン。
- 上記変速出力軸を上記変速入力軸の下方に配置したことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の自動二輪車のエンジン。
