Claims (10)
- 発光ダイオードと、前記発光ダイオードが一主面に連結された平板状の放熱板と、前記放熱板の前記一主面に対向し、前記発光ダイオードから出射された光を内部に導いて出射する光学部と、前記光学部に対向し、前記光学部から入射した光が透過することにより画像を表示する表示パネルと、前記放熱板の側面に連結され、前記光学部と前記表示パネルとを保持する枠体と、を有し、前記枠体は、前記表示パネルの周縁部を覆うフロントカバーと、前記フロントカバーから前記放熱板の側方まで延出し前記放熱板の側面に連結される側板と、前記フロントカバーとの間で前記表示パネルを挟持すると共に前記光学部を収納するシャーシと、このシャーシとの間で前記光学部を挟持するリアカバーと、を有し、前記リアカバーの前記放熱板と対向する面に、前記リアカバーと前記放熱板との間に介在し前記発光ダイオードを収容する空間を形成するナットが取り付けられ、前記ナットは前記放熱板に挿通されたボルトと螺合されていることを特徴とする表示装置。
- 前記発光ダイオード、前記光学部、前記表示パネル及び前記枠体を収容し保護する外部シャーシをさらに有し、前記外部シャーシは前記放熱板の側面に連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記放熱板が前記表示パネルに平行に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記放熱板に、外部シャーシ連結用部分が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記外部シャーシ連結用部分は、前記放熱板の側面に設けられたねじ穴であり、前記外部シャーシのねじを前記ねじ穴に螺合することにより前記放熱板が前記外部シャーシに固定されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の表示装置。
- 前記放熱板がアルミニウム又はアルミニウム合金により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記放熱板の前記一主面の裏側の他主面にフィンが取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記発光ダイオードが複数個設けられており、この複数個の発光ダイオードのうち一部は赤色の光を出射する赤色ダイオードであり、他の一部は緑色の光を出射する緑色ダイオードであり、更に他の一部は青色の光を出射する青色ダイオードであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数個の発光ダイオードが1列に配列されており、前記光学部は、前記表示パネルに平行に配置され前記赤色ダイオード、緑色ダイオード及び青色ダイオードから入射した光を混合する混色用導光板と、この混色用導光板から入射した光を折り返して出射するリフレクタと、前記混色用導光板と前記表示パネルとの間に前記表示パネルに平行に配置されこのリフレクタから入射した光を前記表示パネルの全面に対して出射する照光用導光板と、を有することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示パネルが透過型のカラーの液晶パネルであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
