ここで、送信部の送信周波数帯域をB、ベクトル合成する複数の干渉ブロックの中で最も離れた干渉ブロック間の最大アンテナ間距離をD、アンテナ面の法線方向からのターゲット方向角度をθ、光速をCである。
Continuous Wave)信号を出力する。ここに、CW信号とは、周波数を変調させずに連続して出力される信号である。FMCW信号とは、周波数を直線的に変調させながら連続的に出力される信号である。

ここに、Δfmaxは、想定される最高ドップラー周波数である。
ただし、Δfmin=2ΔVfc/Cである。ここに、ΔVは速度分解能、Δfminはドップラー周波数分解能である。
R(R0)は受信アンテナ8からターゲット21までの距離、Cは光速、Vはターゲット21の速度である。
kはチャープ率であって、送信信号の繰り返しパルス幅をτ、送信信号の帯域幅をBとすると、k=B/τである。

Claims (5)
- 目標対象物に向けて信号を送信する送信部と、
前記送信部から送信される信号を送信するために1つのアンテナ面にマトリクス状に配列された複数の送信アンテナと、
1つのアンテナ面に設けられた複数の干渉ブロック内に複数の受信アンテナをマトリクス状に配列した大口径アレイアンテナと、
前記大口径アレイアンテナで受信した受信信号を処理する受信部とを有し、
前記受信部は、
前記干渉ブロック毎に設けられ、各干渉ブロック内の前記受信アンテナで受信されて復調されたディジタル信号について離散フーリエ変換を並行して実行する複数のTFT処理部と、
前記干渉ブロック毎に設けられ、各干渉ブロックに含まれる基準となる受信アンテナと残りの受信アンテナとで受信した信号相互間で周波数別に複素乗算演算を行う複数の相関処理部と、
前記各干渉ブロックの前記相関処理部から出力される信号をベクトル合成する合成器とを含むことを特徴とする干渉型レーダ。 - 前記大口径アレイアンテナ上の前記干渉ブロックの配置は、
前記送信部の送信周波数帯域をB、ベクトル合成する複数の干渉ブロックの中で最も離れた干渉ブロック間の最大アンテナ間距離をD、アンテナ面の法線方向からの目標対象物の方位角度をθ、光速をCとした場合に、

の条件を満たしていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の干渉型レーダ。 - 前記合成器からの出力を得て、目標対象物の距離毎に分類した前記目標対象物の方位エレベーションを求める2次FFT処理部と、
前記2次FFT処理部が求めた前記方位エレベーションに基づいて、前記目標対象物の方位及び速度と、前記目標対象物の方位と距離とを計測するデータ処理部とを有する請求項1に記載の干渉型レーダ。 - 前記データ処理部から方位データと距離データを受け取り、これらのデータに基づいて特定の目標対象物の方向を選び出すターゲット選択部と、
前記ターゲット選択部が選び出した前記特定の目標対象物の測距を行う個別MTI/測距処理部とを有する請求項3に記載の干渉型レーダ。 - 前記送信部は、FMCW信号に代えて、一定周波数変化率(チャープ率)kで変化し、周期Tで繰り返す信号を送信する機能を有し、
前記受信部は、目標対象物で反射した信号を送信信号と全く同じタイミングまたは位相同期したタイミングの周波数変化率kの局部発信信号で周波数変換するヘテロダイン機能を有するとともに、前記kとTの積になるサンプル周波数
F(F=kT)でディジタル化するA/D変換部を有するものである請求項1に記載の干渉型レーダ。
