Description
図1は本実施形態の重荷重用タイヤ1の正規状態を示す断面図、図2はそのビード部を拡大して示す部分断面図、図3は図2の一部をさらに部分拡大した拡大図をそれぞれ示す。この例の重荷重用タイヤ1は、チューブレスタイプのものが例示される。
テストの方法は、次の通りである。
各供試タイヤをリム(サイズ:7.50×22.5)に組み、内圧700kPaを充填後、80℃の環境下で72時間放置した後、各タイヤをリムから取り外し、再度リム組みして空気圧を充填する時の充填作業のし易さ(空気の漏れの少なさ)を作業者の官能により評価した。また、リム組み後、700kPaを充填してX線CTスキャン装置でタイヤ断面像を取得し、ビードトウ部のリムシート面からの浮き上がり量、ビードコアの型くずれの有無などを確認した。前記浮き上がり量の評価は、各値の逆数を用いかつ比較例1を100とする指数で表示した。数値が大きいほど良好である。
ドラム試験機を用い、タイヤをリム(サイズ:7.50×22.5)に組み、内圧700kPaを充填後、縦荷重(27.25kNの3倍)の条件下で速度20km/hで走行させ、ビード部に損傷が発生するまでの走行時間を測定した。評価は、比較例1の走行時間を100とした指数で表示した。数値が大きいほど良好である。
上記と同様のドラム耐久試験であるが、試験に先立ち、リムを130℃まで加熱した。評価は、比較例1の走行時間を100とした指数で表示した。数値が大きいほど熱に対する耐久性が高いことを示す。
テストの結果などを表1〜3に示す。

Claims (4)
- トレッド部からサイドウォール部をへてビード部のビードコアに至る本体部と、該本体部に連なりかつ前記ビードコアの廻りをタイヤ軸方向内側から外側に折り返された折返し部とを有するスチールコードからなるカーカスプライを具えた重荷重用タイヤであって、 前記折返し部は、ビードコアのタイヤ軸方向の内の側面、タイヤ半径方向の内面及びタイヤ軸方向の外の側面に沿って折れ曲がる主部と、
該主部に連なり前記ビードコアのタイヤ半径方向の外面の近傍を前記本体部に向かってのびる副部とからなるとともに、
前記ビードコアの前記内の側面と、前記主部のスチールコードとで挟まれるコア内側領域に、複素弾性率が50〜80MPaであるコア保護用ゴムが配されたことを特徴とする重荷重用タイヤ。 - 前記コア保護用ゴムは、少なくとも前記コア内側領域のタイヤ半径方向の外端から該コア内側領域のタイヤ半径方向長さの60%以上の長さを有してタイヤ半径方向内方にのびている請求項1記載の重荷重用タイヤ。
- 前記コア保護用ゴムは、前記コア内側領域のタイヤ半径方向の外端から該コア内側領域のタイヤ半径方向長さの30%の位置において、前記コア内側領域のタイヤ軸方向の幅の20〜80%の幅を有する請求項1又は2記載の重荷重用タイヤ
- 前記コア保護ゴムは、前記コア内側領域において、タイヤ半径方向内側からタイヤ半径方向外側に向かって厚さが漸増する請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の重荷重用タイヤ。
