Description
〔化1〕で示されるキレート剤としては、1,3−プロパンジアミン四酢酸、1,4−ブタンジアミン四酢酸、1,5−ペンタンジアミン四酢酸、1,6−ヘキサンジアミン四酢酸、1,7−ヘプタンジアミン四酢酸があり、これらの塩としては、アルミニウム、鉄、銅、カルシウム、マグネシウム、チタン、タンタル等の金属塩、アンモニウム塩、アミン塩等を用いることができる。これらのキレート剤は複数併用してもよい。
本発明の電解液は水の添加量が多く、また、炭素数が3〜7のアルキルジアミン四酢酸又はその塩を溶解させていることから、製品の低インピーダンス化の効果と併せ、寿命特性が良好な電解コンデンサを得ることができる。
高純度のアルミニウム箔を電気化学的にエッチング処理して表面積を拡大させた後、ホウ酸アンモニウム水溶液、アジピン酸アンモニウム水溶液、リン酸アンモニウム水溶液等の化成液中で化成処理を行い、エッチング箔表面に酸化皮膜を形成させた陽極箔と、高純度のアルミニウム箔をエッチング処理した陰極箔との間に、セパレータを挿入し巻回してコンデンサ用素子を作製した。
そして、このコンデンサ素子に、表1に記載した組成による電解液を含浸してから、金属製の有底筒状ケースに収納した後、開口部を弾性ゴムにより封口し、封口部位を絞り加工して巻回型電解コンデンサ(6.3WV−1000μF)を作製した。
但し、上記アルキルジアミン四酢酸の添加量が0.005wt%である実施例1、実施例7及び実施例13では65℃−4000時間、及び105℃−2000時間経過時にて活性リン酸量が検出限界以下にまで減少しており、アルキルジアミン四酢酸の添加による効果が十分に得られない。一方、添加量が3.0wt%の実施例6、実施例12及び実施例18でも65℃−4000時間、及び105℃−2000時間経過時にて検出限界以下まで電解液中のリン酸量が減少していることから、アルキルジアミン四酢酸の添加量は0.01〜2.0wt%が好ましいことが分かる。
また、本発明によるキレート剤ではないエチレンジアミン四酢酸やジエチレントリアミン五酢酸を添加した従来例4〜6では、試験時間4000時間以内に弁作動に至っている。
一方、アルキルジアミン四酢酸が0.01〜2.0wt%の実施例2〜5、実施例8〜11、実施例14〜17、及び実施例19〜21は試験時間4000時間においても弁作動を呈することなく良好な特性を維持している。
以上の結果より、アルキルジアミン四酢酸の添加量は0.01〜2.0wt%が好ましいことが分かる。
また、表3、4の比較例3についての結果から明らかなように、〔化1〕のn=8の場合は、試験時間4000時間において弁作動が発生するので、n=3〜7の範囲が適当である。
Claims (6)
- 前記有機溶媒が、プロトン系溶媒と非プロトン系溶媒のうちから選択される1種以上の溶媒であることを特徴とする電解コンデンサの駆動用電解液。
- 前記カルボン酸及びカルボン酸塩が、ギ酸、酢酸、シュウ酸、プロピオン酸、安息香酸、マロン酸、コハク酸、グルタル酸、アジピン酸、フマル酸、マレイン酸、フタル酸、アゼライン酸、クエン酸、並びにそれらのアンモニウム塩、ナトリウム塩、カリウム塩、及びアミン塩からなるグループより選択されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の電解コンデンサの駆動用電解液。
- 前記リン酸化合物が、オルトリン酸、亜リン酸、次亜リン酸、縮合リン酸類、リン酸エステル類及びこれらの塩からなるグループより選択されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の電解コンデンサの駆動用電解液。
- 前記アルキルジアミン四酢酸またはその塩を0.01〜2.0wt%含有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の電解コンデンサの駆動用電解液。
- 使用されている駆動用電解液が、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の電解コンデンサの駆動用電解液であることを特徴とする電解コンデンサ。
