Description
光学フィルム上にバインダーポリマー層を形成する工程(1)、
前記バインダーポリマー層に、導電性ポリマーを形成できる重合性モノマーまたはその溶液を滴下方法、塗布方法または噴射方法により含浸する工程(2)、
次いで、前記バインダーポリマー層に酸化剤の溶液を滴下方法、塗布方法または噴射方法により接触させ、前記重合性モノマーを酸化重合させることによって、前記バインダーポリマー層の内部および/または表面に導電性ポリマーを形成させる工程(3)、
および、前記バインダーポリマー層上に粘着剤層を形成する工程(4)、を有することを特徴とする粘着型光学フィルムの製造方法、に関する。
光学フィルム上にバインダーポリマー層を形成する工程(1)、
前記バインダーポリマー層に、導電性ポリマーを形成できる重合性モノマーを含浸する工程(2)、
次いで、前記バインダーポリマー層に酸化剤を接触させ、前記重合性モノマーを酸化重合させることによって、前記バインダーポリマー層の内部および/または表面に導電性ポリマーを形成させる工程(3)、
および、前記バインダーポリマー層上に粘着剤層を形成する工程(4)、を有する。
(偏光板の作製)
厚さ80μmのポリビニルアルコールフィルムを40℃のヨウ素水溶液中で5倍に延伸したのち50℃で4分間乾燥させて偏光子を得た。この偏光子の両側にトリアセチルセルロースフィルムを、ポリビニルアルコール系接着剤を用いて接着し、偏光板を得た。
ポリエチレンイミン(日本触媒社製,商品名P−1000)を、水:イソプロピルアルコール=1:3(容量比)の混合溶媒で、固形分濃度0.2%に希釈した溶液を調製した。当該溶液を、上記偏光板上に、ワイヤーバー(#5)を用いて乾燥後の厚みが25nmとなるように塗布した後、乾燥してバインダーポリマー層を形成した。ここで得られたフィルムの表面抵抗値を測定したところ、5.0×10E10Ω/□であった。
重合性モノマーとして、ピロールを、水:イソプロピルアルコール=1:3(容量比)の混合溶媒で、固形分濃度0.3%に希釈した溶液を調製した。当該溶液を、上記バインダーポリマー層に、ワイヤーバー(#5)を用いて、塗布した。
過酸化水素を、濃度10%となるように希釈した水溶液を調製した。当該溶液を、上記ピロールを含浸させたバインダーポリマー層に、ワイヤーバー(#5)により塗布し、50℃で、2分間乾燥させて、ピロールを酸化重合した。ここで得られたフィルムの表面抵抗値を測定したところ、5.0×10E8Ω/□であった。
ベースポリマーとして、ブチルアクリレート:アクリル酸:2−ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート=100:5:0.1(重量比)の共重合体からなる重量平均分子量200万のアクリル系ポリマーを含有する溶液(固形分30%)を用いた。上記アクリル系ポリマー溶液にイソシアネート系多官能性化合物である日本ポリウレタン社製コロネートLをポリマー固形分100部に対して3部、及び添加剤(KBM−403、信越シリコーン社製)を0.5部、粘度調整のための溶剤(酢酸エチル)を加え、粘着剤溶液(固形分10%)を調製した。当該粘着剤溶液を、乾燥後の厚みが25μmとなるように、離型フィルム(ポリエチレンテレフタレート基材:ダイヤホイルMRF38、三菱化学ポリエステル製)上にリバースロールコート法により塗布した後、さらにその上に離型フィルムを付与して熱風循環式オーブンで乾燥し、粘着剤層を形成した。
上記偏光板の表面に形成したバインダーポリマー層に、粘着剤層を形成した離型フィルムを貼り合わせ、粘着型偏光板を作製した。
実施例1において、重合性モノマーの含浸に係わる工程、酸化剤の接触に係わる工程を行わず、バインダーポリマー層の形成後に、当該バインダーポリマー層に、粘着剤層を形成した離型フィルムを貼り合わせたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして粘着型偏光板を作製した。
作製された粘着型偏光板を25mm幅×50mm長さに切断した。これの粘着剤層面と50μm厚のポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム表面にインジウム−酸化錫を蒸着ざせた蒸着フィルムの蒸着面とが接するように貼り合わせた後、20分間以上、23℃/60%RHの環境下に放置した。その後、ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムの端部を手で剥離し、粘着剤がポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム側に付着しているのを確認してから、引張試験機(島津製作所社製,オートグラフAG−1)を用いて、180°剥離、引張速度300mm/minにて室温雰囲気下(25℃)にて、光学フィルムと粘着剤層との密着性(N/25mm)を測定した。各サンプルについて、3点の測定を行いそれらの平均値とした。
作製された粘着型偏光板を100mm×100mmの大きさに切断し、液晶パネルに貼り付けた。このパネルを10000cdの輝度を持つバックライト上に置き、静電気発生装置であるESD(SANKI社製,ESD−8012A)を用いて5kvの静電気を発生させることで液晶の配向乱れを起こした。その配向不良による表示不良の回復時間(秒)を、瞬間マルチ測光検出器(大塚電子社製,MCPD−3000)を用いて測定した。
表面抵抗測定器(三菱化学(株)製,Hiresta MCP−HT450)を用いて印加電圧500Vで、フィルム表面(バインダーポリマー層)の表面抵抗値(Ω/□)を測定した。各サンプルについて、3点の測定を行いそれらの平均値とした。

Claims (9)
- 光学フィルムの少なくとも片面にバインダーポリマー層、粘着剤層が、この順に積層されている粘着型光学フィルムの製造方法であって、
光学フィルム上にバインダーポリマー層を形成する工程(1)、
前記バインダーポリマー層に、導電性ポリマーを形成できる重合性モノマーまたはその溶液を滴下方法、塗布方法または噴射方法により含浸する工程(2)、
次いで、前記バインダーポリマー層に酸化剤の溶液を滴下方法、塗布方法または噴射方法により接触させ、前記重合性モノマーを酸化重合させることによって、前記バインダーポリマー層の内部および/または表面に導電性ポリマーを形成させる工程(3)、
および、前記バインダーポリマー層上に粘着剤層を形成する工程(4)、を有することを特徴とする粘着型光学フィルムの製造方法。
- バインダーポリマー層を形成するポリマーが、官能基を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の粘着型光学フィルムの製造方法。
- バインダーポリマー層を形成するポリマーが有する官能基が、アミノ基であることを特徴とする請求項2記載の粘着型光学フィルムの製造方法。
- バインダーポリマー層を形成するポリマーが、ポリエチレンイミン構造を少なくとも有すること特徴とする請求項2または3記載の粘着型光学フィルムの製造方法。
- 粘着剤層が、バインダーポリマー層中のポリマーが有する官能基と反応性を有する官能基を有するベースポリマーを含有することを特徴とする請求項2〜4のいずれかに記載の粘着型光学フィルムの製造方法。
- ベースポリマーが有する官能基が、カルボキシル基であることを特徴とする請求項5記載の粘着型光学フィルムの製造方法。
- 粘着剤層がアクリル系粘着剤により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の粘着型光学フィルムの製造方法。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の製造方法により得られた粘着型光学フィルム。
- 請求項8記載の粘着型光学フィルムを少なくとも1枚用いた画像表示装置。
