Description
ガスセンサ1について、新しいもの(以下、「NEW品」と称する。)と実際の使用環境に近い環境下で時間経過させたもの(以下、「耐久品」と称する。)の2種類を用意して、ガスセンサの出力値を測定した。ここで、耐久品は、ガスセンサ1の素子の温度を900℃で2000時間耐久をかけたものである。センサ素子2の温度は600℃に調整した。なお、センサ素子2の温度としては、280℃〜900℃の間に調整することが好ましい。さらに、ガス供給部110から供給される被測定ガスの全体流量は毎分40L、被測定ガスの温度は450度に設定した。被測定ガスのうち、一酸化炭素ガスボンベ102から供給される一酸化炭素ガスの濃度を全体の1.5%で固定し、酸素ガスボンベ103から供給される酸素ガスの流量を少量から多量に変化させ、残量を窒素ガスボンベ104から供給される窒素ガスにて調整して全体流量が常に一定になるようにした。以上の条件で、ガスセンサ1が発生する起電力を測定した。その測定結果を図3に示す。図3は、測定電極の状態とガスセンサの出力値の関係を示すグラフである。

Claims (4)
- 酸素イオン伝導性を有する固体電解質体に、被測定ガスに曝される測定電極と該測定電極に対向する基準電極とを配設したガスセンサ素子の特性を評価するガスセンサの評価方法であって、
少なくとも一酸化炭素ガス及び酸化性ガスを用い、これらのいずれか一方の流量を固定し、他方を変化させて作成する雰囲気に前記ガスセンサ素子を曝したとき、前記ガスセンサが出力する出力値により前記測定電極の状態を評価することを特徴とするガスセンサの評価方法。 - 前記ガスセンサ素子の温度を280℃乃至900℃としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガスセンサの評価方法。
- 酸素イオン伝導性を有する固体電解質体に、被測定ガスに曝される測定電極と該測定電極に対向する基準電極とを配設したガスセンサ素子に、少なくとも一酸化炭素ガス及び酸化性ガスから構成される雰囲気を供給するガス供給手段と、
当該ガス供給手段により供給される前記一酸化炭素ガス又は前記酸化性ガスのいずれか一方の流量を固定し、他方を変化させる流量調整手段と、
当該流量調整手段により調整された前記雰囲気にガスセンサ素子を曝すことで該ガスセンサ素子を備えるガスセンサが出力する出力値を測定する出力測定手段と、
当該出力測定手段により測定された出力値に基づき前記測定電極の状態を評価する評価手段とを備えたことを特徴とするガスセンサの評価装置。 - 前記ガスセンサ素子の温度を280℃乃至900℃としたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のガスセンサの評価装置。
