Claims (9)
- 車輌において過給式燃焼機関(1)の排気ガスを再循環させる構造であり、燃焼機関(1)は、その中央を通して延在する垂直面(4)の第1の側で燃焼機関(1)に取付けられて空気および再循環排気ガスを燃焼機関(1)の少なくとも2つのシリンダに供給するための分岐した入口パイプ(24)と、前記中央に位置する垂直面(4)の第2の側に取付けられて燃焼機関(1)の少なくとも2つのシリンダから排気ライン(6)へ排気ガスを導くための分岐した排気ガスパイプ(5)とを含んでおり、また、この構造は、圧縮空気を燃焼機関(1)に供給するための入口ライン(10)を含んでおり、この入口ライン(10)は空気を冷却するための過給空気冷却器(11)と、排気ライン(6)を入口ライン(10)に連結する戻しライン(15)とを含み、戻しライン(15)を経て排気ガスを排気ライン(6)から入口ライン(10)へ再循環させることができるようになされており、戻しライン(15)は再循環排気ガスを冷却するためのEGR冷却器(17)を含み、EGR冷却器(17)および過給空気冷却器(11)は分岐した入口パイプ(24)が取付けられている前記中央に位置する面(4)の第1の側において燃焼機関(1)に接近させて配置されている構造において、過給空気冷却器(11)が分岐した入口パイプ(24)よりも少なくとも部分的に低い位置に配置されていることを特徴とする構造。
- EGR冷却器(17)は分岐した入口パイプ(24)よりも低い高さ位置で車輌に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載された構造。
- EGR冷却器(17)は分岐した入口パイプ(24)よりも少なくとも部分的に低い位置に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載された構造。
- 再循環排気ガスを冷却するためにEGR冷却器(17)は内部に液体冷媒が流されるようになされたことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか一項に記載された構造。
- 過給空気冷却器(11)は分岐した入口パイプ(24)よりも低い高さ位置で車輌に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか一項に記載された構造。
- 圧縮空気を冷却するために過給空気冷却器(11)は内部に液体冷媒を流されるようになされたことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか一項に記載された構造。
- 空気および再循環排気ガスを入口パイプ(24)へ導くチューブ状部分(10d)を入口ラインが含み、EGR冷却器(17)および過給空気冷却器(11)は前記チューブ状部分(10d)の長手方向に延在する中心線(28)の反対両側に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6までのいずれか一項に記載された構造。
- EGR冷却器(17)および過給空気冷却器(11)が複合ユニットを構成していることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7までのいずれか一項に記載された構造。
- 燃焼機関(1)は前記垂直面(4)が車輌(3)の長手方向に延在するように車輌に取付けられ、また、燃焼機関(1)は実質的に横方向の前部壁面(1a)と、実質的に横方向の後部壁面(1b)とを有し、戻しライン(15)は第1の側から横方向の後部壁面(1b)を回って第2の側へ延在し、入口ライン(10)は第1の側から横方向の前部壁面(1a)を回って第2の側へ延在することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項8までのいずれか一項に記載された構造。
