Description
放電管は不活性混合ガスと水銀の入った放電空間を気密状態で取り囲み、
放電管は、放電空間における放電を維持するための放電手段を有する、低圧水銀蒸気放電灯に関する。
Claims (18)
- 少なくとも一部に、全長LdV、内径Dinの円筒型の放電管を有する低圧水銀蒸気放電灯であって、
前記放電管は不活性混合ガスと水銀の入った放電空間を気密状態で取り囲み、
前記放電管は前記放電空間において放電を維持するための放電手段を有し、
放電管内径Dinと全長LdVの積に対する前記放電管内の水銀重量mHgの比は、C≦0.01μg/mm2として、mHg/(LdV×Din)=Cで与えられ、
前記放電管に投与された水銀の量は、当該放電灯の公称作動における、飽和水銀蒸気圧に必要な水銀量以下であることを特徴とする低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。 - 0.0005≦C≦0.005μg/mm2であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- 前記放電管は0.1mg未満の水銀を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- 前記放電手段は前記放電空間に配置された電極を有し、
電極シールドは前記電極の少なくとも1つを少なくとも実質的に蔽い、
前記電極シールドはセラミック材料またはステンレス鋼で構成されることを特徴とする請求項1、2、または3のいずれかに記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。 - 放電を維持するための前記手段は前記放電管に囲まれた放電空間の外部に置かれ、
前記手段は電気伝導体の巻線のコイルを有し、前記コイルには作動中、例えば約3MHzの周波数の、高周波電圧が印加されることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3または4のいずれかに記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。 - 前記不活性混合ガスの充填圧力pigmと前記放電管の放電管内径Dinの積はpigm×Din≧5.2Pamの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3または4のいずれかに記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- pigm×Din≧8Pamであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- 前記放電管の内壁の少なくとも一部には保護層が付与され、
前記保護層は、スカンジウム、イットリウムおよび他の希土類金属の酸化物で形成される群から選択された材料、アルカリ土類金属、スカンジウム、イットリウムおよび他の希土類金属のホウ酸塩で形成される群から選択された材料および/またはアルカリ土類金属、スカンジウム、イットリウムおよび他の希土類金属のリン酸塩で形成される群から選択された材料を有することを特徴とする請求項1、2、3または4のいずれかに記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。 - 前記アルカリ土類金属はカルシウム、ストロンチウム、バリウムの少なくとも1つであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- 前記他の希土類金属はランタン、セリウム、ガドリニウムの少なくとも1つであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- 前記酸化物は酸化イットリウム、酸化ガドリニウムの少なくとも1つであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- 前記放電管は二酸化珪素および酸化ナトリウムを有するガラスで構成され、ガラス組成は重量百分率(wt%)で、60-80wt%SiO2および10-20wt%Na2Oの主要構成物を有することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- 前記ガラス組成は構成物として、70-75wt%SiO2、15-18wt%Na2O、0.25-2wt%K2Oを含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- 前記放電管は、PbOを含まず、構成物として重量百分率(wt%)で、55-70wt%SiO2、0.1wt%未満のAl2O3、0.5-4wt%Li2O、0.5-3wt%Na2O、10-15wt%K2O、0-3wt%MgO、0-4wt%CaO、0.5-5wt%SrO、7-10wt%BaOを有するガラスで構成されること特徴とする請求項1、2、3または4のいずれかに記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- 前記放電管の組成は65-70wt%SiO2、1.4-2.2wt%Li2O、1.5-2.5wt%Na2O、11-12.3wt%K2O、1.8-2.6wt%MgO、2.5-4wt%CaO、2-3.5wt%SrO、8-9.5wt%BaOを有することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- 前記放電管の組成はさらに、0.01-0.2wt%Fe2O3、0.01-0.2wt%CeO2、0.01-0.15wt%SO3の少なくとも1つを有することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- Li2O、Na2OおよびK2O濃度の合計は14ないし16wt%の範囲にあり、SrOとBaO濃度の合計は10ないし12.5wt%の範囲にあること、またはそのいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯。
- 請求項1、2、3または4のいずれかに記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電灯を有する小型蛍光灯であって、ランプハウジングが前記低圧水銀蒸気放電灯の前記放電管に取り付けられ、前記ランプハウジングにはランプキャップが付けられていることを特徴とする小型蛍光灯。
