Claims (16)
- 網膜を有する眼中の物質濃度を測定する装置であって、
第1波長を有する測定光ビームを生成する測定光源であって、前記物質が前記第1波長の光に対してゼロでない第1吸収係数を有する、測定光源と;
第2波長を有する基準光ビームを生成する基準光源であって、前記物質が前記第2波長の光に対して実質的にゼロに等しい第2吸収係数を有する、基準光源と;
前記網膜から逆反射された測定光ビーム及び前記網膜から逆反射された基準光ビームを主に受けるように眼から少なくとも100mmの距離に配置可能な検出器であって、測定信号を生成することによって前記第1波長を有する光に応答し、かつ、基準信号を生成することによって前記第2波長を有する光に応答する検出器と;
前記検出器に結合された電気回路であって、前記眼中の物質濃度を測定するために前記測定信号及び前記基準信号に応答する電気回路と;
を備え、
検出された逆反射の前記測定光ビームと検出された逆反射の前記基準光ビームは実質的に平行であることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記物質は、グルコースを含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記測定光源及び前記基準光源に結合されたモータをさらに備えることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記測定光源は、第1赤外光源を備え、前記基準光源は、第2赤外光源を含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項4記載の装置において、
前記第1赤外光源は、レーザダイオード又は赤外発光ダイオードを含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項4記載の装置において、
前記第2赤外光源は、レーザダイオード又は赤外発光ダイオードを含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記測定光源は、広帯域光源を含み、前記基準光源は、前記広帯域光源を含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項7記載の装置において、
前記測定光ビームは、第1バンドフィルタを介して伝播され、前記基準光ビームは、第2バンドフィルタを介して伝播されることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記測定光ビームは、前記逆反射された測定光ビームと実質的に平行であり、前記基準光ビームは、前記逆反射された基準光ビームと実質的に平行であることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記電気回路は、中央演算処理装置(CPU)、メモリ、及びディスプレイを含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記電気回路はさらに、前記測定光源及び前記基準光源に結合されていることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
二色性コーティング層を含む光コンバイナをさらに備えることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項12記載の装置において、
前記光コンバイナは、光学ガラス層、ホログラフィックビームスプリッタ層、及びカバーガラス層をさらに含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記測定光ビームは、眼の角膜、レンズ及び液体を通過し、前記網膜から逆反射され、前記液体、前記レンズ及び前記角膜を通過した後で前記検出器によって受けられ、前記基準光ビームは、前記角膜、前記レンズ及び前記液体を通過し、前記網膜から逆反射され、前記液体、前記レンズ及び前記角膜を通過した後で前記検出器によって受けられることを特徴とする装置。 - 角膜、瞳孔、虹彩、レンズ、液体、及び網膜を有する眼中の物質であって、第1波長においてゼロでない第1吸収係数を有し、第2波長において実質的にゼロに等しい第2吸収係数を有する物質の濃度を決定する装置の作動方法であって、
前記網膜から逆反射され、前記液体、前記レンズ、前記瞳孔及び前記角膜を2回通過した前記第1波長を有する測定光ビームを主に検出する段階と、
前記網膜から逆反射され、前記液体、前記レンズ、前記瞳孔及び前記角膜を2回通過した前記第2波長を有する基準光ビームを主に検出する段階と、
検出された逆反射の前記測定光ビームに応答して測定信号を生成する段階と、
検出された逆反射の前記基準光ビームに応答して基準信号を生成する段階と、
前記測定信号及び前記基準信号に応答して、前記眼中の物質濃度を決定する段階と、
を備え、
検出された逆反射の前記測定光ビームと検出された逆反射の前記基準光ビームは実質的に平行であることを特徴とする作動方法。 - 請求項15に記載の作動方法において、
前記物質は、グルコースを含むことを特徴とする作動方法。
