Claims (11)
- 相互に対向する一対の第1プレート(14)と、その両第1プレート(14)の一端部相互および他端部相互をそれぞれ接続し相互に対向する一対の第2プレート(15)とによって、冷却風入口(16)および冷却風出口(17)を両端に有する角筒状に構成されるバッテリケースであって、
そのケース内部に相互に所定間隔を存して平行に配置した多数の棒状のバッテリモジュール(11)の両端を前記一対の第1プレート(14)に支持すると共に、前記冷却風入口(16)から前記冷却風出口(17)へ流した冷却風で前記多数のバッテリモジュール(11)を冷却するようにしたものにおいて、
前記一対の第2プレート(15)の少なくとも一方の内面に、前記冷却風の流れ方向に沿って延びる冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)を設け、
その冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)は、前記冷却風入口(16)側から冷却風出口(17)側に向けて該冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)の流路断面積が縮小するよう、溝幅を冷却風出口(17)に近づくにつれて徐々に減少させた先細部(31b)を有していることを特徴とするバッテリケース。 - 各々の第2プレート(15)の冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)の深さを一定とした請求項1に記載のバッテリケースであって、
一方の第2プレート(15)の冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)の深さと、他方の第2プレート(15)の冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)の深さとを異ならせたことを特徴とする、バッテリケース。 - 一方の第2プレート(15)の冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)の冷却風流れ方向下流端の位置と、他方の第2プレート(15)の冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)の冷却風流れ方向下流端の位置とを異ならせたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリケース。
- 各第2プレート(15)の内面に複数の冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)を設けて、その複数の冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)のうちの一部の冷却風案内溝の冷却風流れ方向下流端の位置を、他の冷却風案内溝の冷却風流れ方向下流端の位置よりも下流側としたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリケース。
- 少なくとも一方の第2プレート(15)の冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)の深さを冷却風流れ方向下流側ほど浅くしたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリケース。
- 一方の第2プレート(15)に冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)を設けるとともに、他方の第2プレート(15)に前記冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)に対向する突出部(32)を設けたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリケース。
- 少なくとも一方の第2プレート(15)が冷却風流れ方向に直交する方向に並置された複数の冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリケース。
- バッテリモジュール(11)は複数のバッテリ単体(12)を直列に接続してなり、前記複数の冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)の冷却風流れ方向下流端は前記バッテリ単体(12)の接続部を指向することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のバッテリケース。
- 冷却風案内溝(31,31A〜31E)が、その先細部(31b)よりも冷却風流れ方向上流側に、溝幅が一時的に拡大する拡大部(31c)を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリケース。
- 一対の第2プレート(15)の少なくとも一方の内面に、バッテリモジュール(11)の形状および配列を模擬する凸部(11′)を形成したことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリケース。
- 最前列のバッテリモジュール(11)への冷却風の接触を抑制する整流部材(25)を前記冷却風入口(16)に設けたことを特徴とする、請求項1〜請求項10の何れか1項に記載のバッテリケース。
