Claims (4)
- 少なくとも一つの燃焼室を有する内燃機関であって、前記燃焼室に連通する少なくとも2つの吸気通路と、前記吸気通路のいずれかに設けられ、前記吸気通路に直交する方向に設けられた軸を中心に弁部材を回転させて前記吸気通路を開閉する開閉弁とを有し、低負荷運転時には前記開閉弁を閉止するように構成された内燃機関において、
前記開閉弁が設けられた前記吸気通路の前記燃焼室への流入角度を、前記残りの吸気通路の前記燃焼室への流入角度より大きくなるように構成し、
前記吸気通路は前記開閉弁より上流に湾曲部が設けられ、
前記開閉弁を開放するときは、前記弁部材の上流側で前記吸気通路の前記湾曲部の外周壁面側から開放されることを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 前記燃焼室が形成されるシリンダヘッド内において、前記吸気通路が各々独立して形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記開閉弁はロータリーバルブで構成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記開閉弁はバタフライバルブで構成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関。
