Claims (3)
- クランクケースの後側に水平方向へ後ろ向きに延びる複数のシリンダを上下に並べて配設したシリンダブロックと、このシリンダブロックの後方に前記各シリンダに整合する燃焼室を形成するシリンダヘッドを備えた縦置きエンジンの周囲をエンジンカバーで覆うと共に、上記エンジンの一側にサージタンクと吸気管とから構成される吸気マニフォールドを備えた船外機の吸気装置において、上記サージタンクを、タンク本体とタンクカバーとから構成し、上記タンク本体と上記タンクカバーとの接合面が略垂直に且つシリンダ軸と略平行になるように上記エンジンの一側に配置すると共に、上記エンジンに対向する面を上記エンジンの側面形状に沿った形状に形成した上記タンク本体を上記エンジン側に、また、吸気管が一体または一体的に形成されたタンクカバーをエンジンカバー側にそれぞれ並列に配置し、上記吸気管の吸気口をサージタンクの最前端部に開口し、スロットルボディをシリンダブロックの側方に位置する上記タンク本体の後上部または後下部に接続したことを特徴とする船外機の吸気装置。
- 上記吸気管の略中間部に上記サージタンクの内部に開口する第二の吸気口を設けた請求項1記載の船外機の吸気装置。
- 上記第二の吸気口の開口部近傍に所定のエンジン回転数で上記第二の吸気口を開閉する切り換えバルブを設けた請求項2記載の船外機の吸気装置。
