Description
Claims (9)
- エンジンの燃焼室(11)から排気ガスを排出するための少なくとも一つの排気管(15,16)と前記燃焼室に空気を供給するための少なくとも一つの導入管(12)を持つ内燃エンジン(10)のためのターボチャージャシステムであって、
エンジンの排気流からエネルギーを取り出し、エンジンの流入空気を加圧するための、高圧コンプレッサ(19)に接続され、これにより共通回転軸(31)を有する高圧ターボユニット(18)を形成する高圧タービン(17)と、低圧コンプレッサ(23)に接続され、これにより共通回転軸(32)を有する低圧ターボユニット(22)を形成する低圧タービン(21)を備え、
前記低圧タービン(21)はアキシャルタイプであり、前記高圧ターボユニット(18)と前記低圧ターボユニット(22)は事実上同心的な回転軸(31,32)により直列に配置され、且つ高圧タービン(17)と定圧タービン(21)は互いに隣接して、流路として形成されている中間部材(20)によって連結され、前記二つの回転軸の間で所定の量の偏芯が許容できるように配置され、前記低圧ターボユニット(22)は内燃エンジン(10)の一部に取り付けられており、前記高圧ターボユニット(18)は前記エンジン(10)の他の部分に取り付けられていることを特徴とするターボチャージャシステム。 - 前記低圧ターボユニット(22)は、内燃エンジンのシリンダーブロック(10)に取り付けられ、前記高圧ターボユニット(18)は前記エンジンの排気マニホルド(15,16)に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のターボチャージャシステム。
- 前記高圧ターボユニット(18)と前記低圧ターボユニット(22)は、内燃エンジン(10)の側部に直列に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のターボチャージャシステム。
- 前記二つのユニット(18,22)は、事実上、前記エンジン(10)のクランクシャフトに平行に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のターボチャージャシステム。
- 前記ターボユニット(18,22)は、前記高圧コンプレッサ(19)は前記エンジン(10)の軸方向の前方に向けて配置され、前記低圧コンプレッサ(23)は後方に向けて配置されていることを特徴とする請求項2乃至4のいずれかに記載のターボチャージャシステム。
- 前記中間部材(20)は、径方向に弾性を持つシールリング(33)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のターボチャージャシステム。
- 前記シールリング(33)は、高圧タービン(17)の出口の円筒状部分(34)と、低圧タービン(21)の入口の円筒状部分(35)に、夫々、スライド可能に装着されていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のターボチャージャシステム。
- 前記低圧ターボユニット(22)は、低圧タービン(21)の出口(37)を介してブラケット(36)によりエンジンブロック(10)に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載のターボチャージャシステム。
- 前記中間部材(20)の内側ダクトは環状であり、下流に向かうに従い増加する断面を持つ内側ボディ(20a)を有する請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載のターボチャージャシステム。
