該部屋に配置された、温度、蒸気濃度、および流速の少なくとも1つのモニター(48);
該制御可能なバッフル(22、44)、該モニター(48)、および汚染除去サイクルを自動的に制御するための該ダクト配管を通じて空気を循環させるための手段(10)と連結された汚染除去制御システム(46)であって、
該汚染除去制御システム(46)が、該システムを通じて1つの方向に蒸気を流す工程、該システム中に該蒸気を淀ませる工程、および該蒸気を反対方向に流す工程を含む汚染除去サイクルを最適化および履行するよう予めプログラムされているプロセッサを備えることによって特徴付けられる、システム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって:
前記汚染除去制御システム(46)が、少なくとも前記バッフル(22、44)および乱流を生成するために前記ダクト配管を通じて空気を輸送するための手段(10)を制御することによってさらに特徴付けられる、システム。 - 請求項1または2のいずれかに記載のシステムであって:
前記汚染除去蒸気を供給するための手段(42)が、過酸化水素蒸気発生器を含むことによってさらに特徴付けられる、システム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって:
前記制御可能なバッフル(44)の少なくとも1つが、前記ダクト配管システムの一部分と選択的に接続されている一時的バッフルを含むことによってさらに特徴付けられる、システム。 - ビルディングまたはビルディングセクションを汚染除去する方法であって:
該ビルディングのHVACダクト配管(16、34)および該ビルディングまたはビルディングセクションの関連する部屋(20)を通じて蒸気汚染除去剤を循環させる工程;
該部屋(20)における温度、流れ速度、および蒸気濃度の少なくとも1つをモニターする工程;
該モニターする工程に従って、該HVACダクト配管と個々の該部屋との間のバッフル(22、24)の開放および閉鎖を制御する工程;
蒸気汚染除去剤を、該ダクト配管を通じて1つの方向に循環させる工程;
該蒸気汚染除去剤を、該ダクト配管を通じて反対の方向に循環させる工程;ならびに
該蒸気汚染除去剤を、該ダクト配管中に留め置かせる工程
によって特徴付けられる、方法。 - 請求項5に記載の方法であって:
前記蒸気汚染除去剤が、過酸化水素蒸気を含むことによってさらに特徴付けられる、方法。 - 請求項5および6のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって:
前記ダクト配管中で乱流を生成する工程によってさらに特徴付けられる、方法。 - 請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって:
前記HVACダクト配管が、複数の独立したHVACダクト配管サブシステムを含み、該方法がさらに:
前記ビルディング内の汚染部位からより遠隔のHVACサブシステムを汚染除去する工程、および該汚染部位により近いHVACサブシステムを漸次汚染除去する工程を含むことによってさらに特徴付けられる、方法。 - 請求項5〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法であって:
一時的バッフル(44)を前記ダクト配管と接続する工程;および
該ダクト配管(16、34)から前記部屋の少なくとも1つまでの蒸気汚染除去剤の流れを制御するために該一時的バッフルを制御する工程によってさらに特徴付けられる、方法。
