Description
すなわち2番目の発明においては、所定の電圧変化量を比較的簡単な構成で定めることができる。
3番目の発明によれば、1番目の発明において、前記開閉手段の開放時において前記バッテリ電圧検出手段により検出される前記バッテリの電圧値と、前記開閉手段が開放する直前における前記開閉手段の閉鎖時において前記バッテリ電圧検出手段により検出される前記バッテリの電圧値との間の電圧変化量が所定の電圧変化量よりも大きい場合には、前記異常検出手段は前記ポンプおよび前記開閉手段のうちの少なくとも一方の異常検出を停止するようにした。
さらに、2番目の発明によれば、所定の電圧変化量を比較的簡単な構成で定めることができるという効果を奏しうる。

Claims (3)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられた排気浄化装置よりも上流側に二次空気を供給する二次空気通路と、
前記二次空気通路に設けられていて二次空気を供給するポンプと、
該ポンプを駆動するのに用いられるバッテリと、
該バッテリの電圧値を検出するバッテリ電圧検出手段と、
前記二次空気通路を開閉する少なくとも一つの開閉手段と、
前記ポンプと前記開閉手段との間に配置されていて前記二次空気通路の圧力を検出する圧力センサと、
前記開閉手段の開放時と閉鎖時とにおいて前記圧力センサにより検出された圧力値と圧力変化量とに基づいて前記ポンプおよび前記開閉手段のうちの少なくとも一方の異常を検出する異常検出手段とを具備し、
前記開閉手段の開放時において前記バッテリ電圧検出手段により検出される前記バッテリの電圧値と、前記開閉手段の閉鎖時において前記バッテリ電圧検出手段により検出される前記バッテリの電圧値との間の電圧変化量が所定の電圧変化量よりも大きい場合には、前記異常検出手段は前記ポンプおよび前記開閉手段のうちの少なくとも一方の異常検出を停止するようにした二次空気供給装置。 - 前記所定の電圧変化量は、前記二次空気供給装置が設けられた内燃機関の機関回転数と、該内燃機関の機関負荷と、前記バッテリの電圧値とのうちの少なくとも一つに応じて定められる請求項1に記載の二次空気供給装置。
- 前記開閉手段の開放時において前記バッテリ電圧検出手段により検出される前記バッテリの電圧値と、前記開閉手段が開放する直前における前記開閉手段の閉鎖時において前記バッテリ電圧検出手段により検出される前記バッテリの電圧値との間の電圧変化量が所定の電圧変化量よりも大きい場合には、前記異常検出手段は前記ポンプおよび前記開閉手段のうちの少なくとも一方の異常検出を停止するようにした請求項1に記載の二次空気供給装置。
