Description
図1は本実施形態の空気入りタイヤの正規状態におけるタイヤ軸を含むタイヤ子午線断面図、図2はトレッド部の展開図(一部断面図)である。ここで、正規状態とは、タイヤを正規リム(図示省略)にリム組みし、かつ、正規内圧を充填した無負荷の状態とし、以下特に言及しない場合、タイヤの各部の寸法等はこの正規状態で測定された値として述べられている。
とは、タイヤが基づいている規格を含む規格体系において、各規格がタイヤ毎に定めている空気圧であり、JATMAであれば"最高空気圧"、TRAであれば表 "TIRE LOAD LIMITS AT VARIOUS COLD INFLATION PRESSURES" に記載の最大値、ETRTOであれば "INFLATION PRESSURE" とするが、タイヤが乗用車用である場合には180kPaとする。

テスト方法は、次の通りである。
操縦安定性に関しては、下記の条件でドライアスファルト路面のテストコースをドライバー1名乗車で走行させ、ハンドル応答性、剛性感、グリップ、高速走行時の安定性等に関する特性をドライバーの官能評価により評価した。また、乗り心地については、同様のテスト車両を用いてドライアスファルト路面の段差路、ベルジャン路(石畳の路面)、ビッツマン路(小石を敷き詰めた路面)等において、ゴツゴツ感、突き上げ及びダンピングに関して総合的な官能評価が行われた。結果は、比較例1を6点とする10段階評価であり、数値が大きいほど良好である。

テスト車両:排気量3500ccの国産FR車(テストタイヤは4輪に装着される)
上記テスト車両を用い、ノイズ計測用の荒れたアスファルト路面を速度50km/hにて走行させ、運転席右耳位置にてオーバーオールの騒音レベルdB(A)が測定された。結果は、比較例1を基準とする増減値で示した。マイナス表示が好ましい。
テストの結果などを表1に示す。

Claims (7)
- トレッド部からサイドウォール部を経てビード部のビードコアに至るトロイド状のカーカスと、
このカーカスのタイヤ半径方向外側かつトレッド部の内部に配されしかもベルトコードがタイヤ赤道に対して15〜40度の角度で傾けられた少なくとも2枚のベルトプライからなるベルト層と、
前記ベルト層のタイヤ半径方向外側に配されかつバンドコードをタイヤ周方向に対して5度以下の角度で配列したバンドプライからなるバンド層とを有する空気入りタイヤであって、
前記バンドプライは、前記ベルト層の一方の端部側のみを覆う第1のプライ片と、この第1のプライ片に隣り合いかつ前記ベルト層の中央部と他方の端部側とを連続して覆う前記第1のプライ片よりも幅広の第2のプライ片とを含み、かつ
前記第1のプライ片のバンドコードと前記第2のプライ片のバンドコードとはモジュラスが異なることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記第1のプライ片のバンドコードのモジュラスが前記第2のプライ片のバンドコードのモジュラスよりも大であり、かつ、
この第1のプライ片が車両外側に向くように車両への装着の向きが指定されている請求項1記載の空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記第1のプライ片のバンドコードのモジュラスm1と、前記第2のプライ片のバンドコードのモジュラスm2との比(m1/m2)が1.0よりも大かつ7.0以下である請求項2記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記バンド層のタイヤ半径方向外側にトレッドゴムが配されるとともに、
前記トレッドゴムは、前記第1のプライ片のタイヤ半径方向外側に配された第1のゴム部と、前記第2のプライ片のタイヤ半径方向外側に配されかつ前記第1のゴム部とは硬さが異なる第2のゴム部とを含み、
前記第1のゴム部は、第2のゴム部よりも硬い請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記第1のゴム部の硬さh1と前記第2のゴム部の硬さh2との差(h1−h2)が2〜10度である請求項4に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記第1のゴム部の硬さh1と前記第2のゴム部の硬さh2との差(h1−h2)を単位硬さ(1度)で除した値は、前記第1のプライ片のバンドコードのモジュラスm1と、前記第2のプライ片のバンドコードのモジュラスm2との比(m1/m2)よりも大きい請求項4又は5に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記第1のゴム部及び/又は第2のゴム部は、未加硫かつリボン状のゴムストリップをタイヤ周方向に螺旋状に巻き重ねることにより形成されたストリップ積層体を用いて作られている請求項4乃至6のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
