Description
電動モータの代わりに、原動機の駆動により発生した電力を用いて駆動され、電動モータとして機能する一方、走行時の運動エネルギにより駆動され、発電機として機能するモータ発電機を設けるとともに、車両の加速/減速指令の出力を判定する判定手段を設け、判定手段により加速指令が出力されていると判定されると、モータ発電機を電動モータとして機能させ、車速検出手段により検出された車速の増加に伴い、HST駆動装置に分配する第1の動力の割合が小さくなり、モータ発電機に分配する第2の動力の割合が大きくなるように、原動機の出力をHST駆動装置とモータ発電機に分配し、判定手段により減速指令が出力されていると判定されると、モータ発電機を発電機として機能させるようにしてもよい。
この場合、判定手段により減速指令が出力されていると判定されると、その減速指令値が大きいほどモータ発電機の発電量を増加させることもできる。
加速指令値を検出する加速検出手段を備え、加速指令値が大きいほど、第1の動力と第2の動力が大きくなるように、原動機の動力をHST駆動装置と電動モータに分配することもできる。
第1の駆動輪を前輪、第2の駆動輪を後輪とすることが好ましい。
以下、図1〜図7を参照して本発明による走行駆動装置の第1の実施の形態について説明する。
図1は、第1の実施の形態に係る走行駆動装置が適用される作業車両の一例であるホイールローダの側面図である。ホイールローダ100は、アーム111,バケット112,タイヤ(前輪)113等を有する前部車体110と、運転室121,エンジン室122,タイヤ(後輪)123等を有する後部車体120とで構成される。アーム111はアームシリンダ114の駆動により俯仰動し、バケット112はバケットシリンダ115の駆動によりダンプまたはクラウドする。前部車体110と後部車体120はセンタピン101により互いに回動自在に連結され、ステアリングシリンダ(不図示)の伸縮により後部車体120に対し前部車体110が左右に屈折する。前輪113および後輪123は、以下のような走行駆動装置により駆動され、車両が走行する。
車両の発進時にアクセルペダルを最大に踏み込むと、油圧ポンプ11から油圧モータ12に圧油が供給され、HSTにより前輪113が駆動される。また、インバータ24からの信号により電動モータ23が回転し、電動モータ23により後輪123が駆動される。このときエンジン出力はHSTと電動モータ23に分配されるが、車速vが所定値vaに達するまでは、図6に示すようにHSTに分配される動力Pw1は電動モータ23に分配される動力Pw2よりも大きい(Pw1>Pw2)。このため、HSTが効果的に働いて、図5に示すように低速時に高牽引力の走行性能が得られる。
(1)HST走行駆動装置により前輪113を、電動モータ23により後輪123を駆動するとともに、車速vがva以上vb以下の領域では、車速vの増加に伴いHSTに配分される動力Pw1を車速に応じて低減し、車速vがvbより大きくなるとPw1=0とした。これにより車速がv2以上の高速走行時には電動モータ23の牽引力Fcのみが車両に作用することとなり、HST駆動装置の動力ロスが小さくなって燃費が向上する。
(2)電動モータ23により後輪123を駆動するので、車両全体として大きな牽引力Faを得ることができる。このためHSTのみによって牽引力Faを得るものに比べ、HSTのポンプ11やモータ12を小型化することができる。
(3)操作量検出器52によりアクセルペダルの操作量Aを検出し、操作量Aが多いほどHSTの動力Pw1と電動モータ23の動力Pw2を大きくするようにしたので(図6)、エンジン出力を常にHSTと電動モータ23に効率よく配分できる。
(4)車軸に作用する荷重の大きい前輪113をHSTにより駆動し、軸荷重の小さい後輪123を電動モータ23により駆動するようにしたので、電動モータ23による牽引力Fcが小さくて済み、HSTと電動モータ23によって最適な走行システムを構築できる。
(5)車速vに応じて動力Pw1の配分が変更されると、その動力Pw1に対応したポンプ傾転角qpとモータ傾転角qmに自動的に変化するので、コントローラ50により傾転角qp,qmを直接制御する必要がなく、構成が容易である。
図8,9を参照して本発明による走行駆動装置の第2の実施の形態について説明する。
第2の実施の形態では、後輪駆動装置20として電動モータ23の代わりにジェネレータモータを設け、減速時に車両の持つ運動エネルギを回収する。図8は、第2の実施の形態に係る走行駆動装置の構成を示す図である。なお、図2と同一の箇所には同一の符号を付し、以下ではその相違点を主に説明する。

Claims (5)
- 原動機により駆動される油圧ポンプ、およびこの油圧ポンプに閉回路接続された油圧モータを有するHST駆動装置と、
前記原動機の駆動により発生した電力を用いて駆動される電動モータと、
前記HST駆動装置により駆動される第1の駆動輪と、
前記電動モータにより駆動される第2の駆動輪と、
車速を検出する車速検出手段と、
前記車速検出手段により検出された車速の増加に伴い、前記HST駆動装置に分配する第1の動力の割合が小さくなり、前記電動モータに分配する第2の動力の割合が大きくなるように、前記原動機の出力を前記HST駆動装置と前記電動モータに分配する制御手段とを備えることを特徴とする作業車両の走行駆動装置。 - 原動機により駆動される油圧ポンプ、およびこの油圧ポンプに閉回路接続された油圧モータを有するHST駆動装置と、
前記原動機の駆動により発生した電力を用いて駆動され、電動モータとして機能する一方、走行時の運動エネルギにより駆動され、発電機として機能するモータ発電機と、
前記HST駆動装置により駆動される第1の駆動輪と、
前記モータ発電機により駆動される第2の駆動輪と、
車速を検出する車速検出手段と、
車両の加速/減速指令の出力を判定する判定手段と、
前記判定手段により加速指令が出力されていると判定されると、前記モータ発電機を電動モータとして機能させ、前記車速検出手段により検出された車速の増加に伴い、前記HST駆動装置に分配する第1の動力の割合が小さくなり、前記モータ発電機に分配する第2の動力の割合が大きくなるように、前記原動機の出力を前記HST駆動装置と前記モータ発電機に分配し、
前記判定手段により減速指令が出力されていると判定されると、前記モータ発電機を発電機として機能させる制御手段とを備えることを特徴とする作業車両の走行駆動装置。 - 請求項2に記載の作業車両の走行駆動装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記判定手段により減速指令が出力されていると判定されると、その減速指令値が大きいほど前記モータ発電機の発電量を増加させることを特徴とする作業車両の走行駆動装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の作業車両の走行駆動装置において、
加速指令値を検出する加速検出手段を備え、
前記制御手段は、加速指令値が大きいほど、前記第1の動力と前記第2の動力が大きくなるように、原動機の動力を前記HST駆動装置と前記電動モータに分配することを特徴とする作業車両の走行駆動装置。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の作業車両の走行駆動装置において、
前記第1の駆動輪は前輪、第2の駆動輪は後輪であることを特徴とする作業車両の走行駆動装置。
