Description
走行モータの回転数を検出し、モータ回転数が所定値以上になると過回転状態を検出するようにしてもよい。または、走行モータの加速度を検出し、モータ速度が一定以上でモータ加速度が所定値以上になると過回転状態を検出するようにしてもよい。
この場合、検出されたモータ回転数またはモータ加速度が大きいほど原動機の回転数を大きく低減することが好ましい。または、油圧ポンプを可変容量型油圧ポンプとして構成し、検出されたモータ回転数またはモータ加速度が大きいほど油圧ポンプの傾転量を大きく低減することもできる。
以上の走行制御装置を有する油圧駆動車両とすることが、油圧駆動車両にとって好ましい。
以下、図1〜図8を参照して本発明による走行制御装置の第1の実施の形態について説明する。
図1は、本発明が適用されるホイール式油圧ショベルを示す。このホイール式油圧ショベルは、下部走行体81と、下部走行体81の上部に旋回可能に搭載された上部旋回体82とを有する。上部旋回体82には運転室83と作業用フロントアタッチメント84が設けられている。フロントアタッチメント84は上部旋回体82の本体に回動可能に連結されたブーム84aと、ブーム84aに回動可能に連結されたアーム84bと、アーム84bに回動可能に連結されたバケット84cからなる。ブーム84aはブームシリンダ84dにより昇降され、アーム84bはアームシリンダ84eにより昇降され、バケット84cはバケットシリンダ84fによりクラウドとダンプ操作が行われる。下部走行体81には、走行用油圧モータ85、トランスミッション86およびプロペラシャフト87が設けられ、プロペラシャフト87により前タイヤ88Fおよび後タイヤ88Rが駆動される。90はフェンダーカバーである。
前後進切換弁23を前進(F位置)または後進(R位置)に切り換え、アクセルペダル22aを踏み込み操作すると、パイロット弁22から出力されるパイロット圧油が制御弁11のパイロットポートに達し、制御弁11がパイロット圧に応じたストローク量でF位置側またはR位置側に切り換わる。これにより油圧ポンプ10からの圧油が油圧モータ12に供給される。このとき、制御弁11とカウンタバランス弁13との間の管路L1AまたはL1Bには負荷に応じた走行駆動圧が発生し、走行駆動圧によりカウンタバランス弁13はF位置またはR位置に切り換わる。この切換により戻り油側の管路L1BまたはL1Aが開放され、油圧モータ12からの圧油はカウンタバランス弁13、制御弁11を介してタンクに戻る。これにより油圧モータ12が駆動され、車両が走行する。
(1)平地走行、登坂走行
平地走行時および登坂走行時のエンジン回転数は定格回転数N1以下である。この状態ではモータ回転数Nmは最高速度Nm1以下となり、所定値Naより小さい(Nm<Na)。したがって、関数発生器502から出力される補正回転数Nsは0となり、スイッチ504の開閉、すなわちアクセルペダル22aがフル操作か否かに拘わらず、関数発生器501から出力される目標回転数Ntが目標回転数指令値Nyとして出力される。これによりエンジン回転数は、関数L1で規定されるアクセルペダル22aの操作量に応じた回転数Ntに制御される。
アクセルペダル22aをフル操作し、モータ最高速度Nm1で平地走行している状態から降坂走行に移行した際の、坂の傾斜角に対するモータ回転数Nmの特性を図8に示す。なお、図中、実線はモータ回転数に応じてエンジン回転数を制御する本実施の形態の走行制御装置の特性であり、点線はエンジン回転数を一定とした場合の特性である。
(1)モータ回転数Nmが所定値Naを越えるとモータ12の過回転状態を検出し、エンジン回転数指令値Nyをペダル操作による目標回転数Ntよりも低減するようにした。これにより降坂走行時にエンジン回転数が定格回転数N1を超えることを阻止することができ、カウンタバランス弁13の応答遅れによって走行モータ12が許容回転数Nm0を超えて過回転することを抑制できる。
(2)カウンタバランス弁13のブレーキ作用によりモータ回転数Nmが所定値Na以下になると、すなわちモータ12の過回転状態が解消されると、エンジン回転数を目標回転数Ntに制御するので、エンジン回転数の減少は短時間に抑えられ、走行性に与える悪影響は小さい。
(3)アクセルペダル22aがフル操作されているときにスイッチ504を閉じてエンジン回転数指令値Nyを低減するようにしたので、必要以上にエンジン回転数を低減することがなく、良好な走行性能を発揮することができる。
(4)モータ回転数Nmが大きいほど補正回転数Nsが大きくなるように関数L2を定め、モータ回転数Nmが大きいほどエンジン回転数指令値Nyを大きく減少させるようにした。これにより坂の勾配が急でモータ回転数Nmの増加が著しい場合であっても、モータ回転数Nmを確実に許容回転数Nm0以下に抑えることができる。
(5)回転数センサ42によりモータ回転数Nmを直接検出するので、モータ回転数Nmを精度よく検出することができ、過回転抑制制御の精度が高まる。
図9を参照して本発明による走行制御装置の第2の実施の形態について説明する。
第1の実施の形態ではモータ回転数Nmに応じてエンジン回転数を目標回転数Ntよりも低減するようにしたが、第2の実施の形態ではモータ加速度Amに応じてエンジン回転数を低減する。なお、以下では第1の実施の形態との相違点を主に説明する。
平地走行時にモータ回転数Nmが最高速度Nm1未満のとき、スイッチ521は開放される。このとき、補正回転数Nsは出力されず、エンジン回転数はペダル操作に応じた目標回転数Ntに制御される。この場合、モータ回転数Nmが小さいため、平地走行から降坂走行に移行しても、カウンタバランス弁13の応答遅れの間にモータ回転数Nmが許容回転数Nm0を超えることはない。したがって、エンジン回転数を減少させる必要はない。
(1)モータ回転数Nmよりモータ加速度Amを演算し、モータ加速度Amが所定値Aaを越えると、モータ12の過回転状態を検出してモータ回転数Nmが許容回転数Nm0を超えると予測し、エンジン回転数指令置Nyをペダル操作による目標回転数Ntよりも低減するようにした。これによりモータ回転数Nmが許容回転数Nm0を超えることを未然に防ぐことができる。
(2)モータ回転数Nmが所定値Naより大きい場合であってもモータ加速度Amが所定値Aa以下のときはエンジン回転数を低下させないので、車両には必要最小限の減速力が作用し、走行フィーリングがよい。
(3)モータ12が最高速度Nm1で回転しているときにスイッチ521をオンし、加速度Amに応じたエンジン回転数制御を行うので、低速走行時に加速度Amが所定値Aaを越えてもエンジン回転数は低下せず、低速時の加速性を確保できる。

Claims (6)
- 原動機により駆動される油圧ポンプと、
前記原動機の目標回転数を指令する目標回転数指令手段と、
この油圧ポンプから供給される圧油により駆動されるとともに、前記原動機の回転数が所定の回転数のときに許容回転数以下の最高速度で駆動するように設定された走行モータと、
前記油圧ポンプから前記走行モータへ供給される圧油の流量を制御する走行用制御弁と、
前記制御弁を介して供給されるモータ負荷圧により切り換わり、負荷圧の低下により前記走行モータの戻り側管路にブレーキ圧を発生させるカウンタバランス弁と、
前記走行モータの前記許容回転数を超える過回転状態を検出する過回転検出手段と、
前記目標回転数指令手段による指令値が所定値以上または前記原動機の前記所定の回転数以上を指令し、かつ、前記過回転検出手段により前記走行モータの過回転状態が検出されると、前記カウンタバランス弁の切換によるブレーキ圧の発生により前記走行モータの過回転状態が解消されるまで、前記走行モータの回転を抑制するモータ過回転抑制手段とを備えることを特徴とする油圧駆動車両の走行制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の油圧駆動車両の走行制御装置において、
前記走行モータの回転数を検出する回転数検出手段を有し、
前記過回転検出手段は、前記回転数検出手段により検出されたモータ回転数が所定値以上になると前記過回転状態を検出することを特徴とする油圧駆動車両の走行制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の油圧駆動車両の走行制御装置において、
前記走行モータの加速度を検出する加速度検出手段を有し、
前記過回転検出手段は、モータ速度が一定以上で前記加速度検出手段により検出されたモータ加速度が所定値以上になると前記過回転状態を検出することを特徴とする油圧駆動車両の走行制御装置。 - 請求項2または3に記載の油圧駆動車両の走行制御装置において、
前記モータ過回転抑制手段は、検出された前記モータ回転数または前記モータ加速度が大きいほど前記原動機の回転数を大きく低減する原動機回転数低減手段であることを特徴とする油圧駆動車両の走行制御装置。 - 請求項2または3に記載の油圧駆動車両の走行制御装置において、
前記油圧ポンプは可変容量型油圧ポンプであり、
前記モータ過回転抑制手段は、検出された前記モータ回転数または前記モータ加速度が大きいほど前記油圧ポンプの傾転量を大きく低減するポンプ傾転量低減手段であることを特徴とする油圧駆動車両の走行制御装置。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の走行制御装置を有することを特徴とする油圧駆動車両。
