【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、光通信ケーブル、特に光ファイバ心線を有する光ファイバケーブル(以下光ケーブル)の地下または架空区間において、光ケーブル接続点における外被接続並びに地下ケーブルや架空ケーブルなどの光ケーブルとの接続のために用いられて、光ケーブル心線の接続部を保護し心線余長を収納する光ケーブル接続用クロージャに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来より、光ケーブルの分岐、引込、接続などを行う場合、クロージャ内においてケーブル心線相互を接続すると共に、光ケーブル心線の余長分を収納するための心線接続余長収納トレイが用いられている。この心線接続余長収納トレイは、トレイ本体に心線を導出入する部分となる心線導出入部と、その心線導出入部から導出入させる主線用光ケーブルから引き出された光ファイバ心線同士或いは分岐用光ケーブルから引き出された心線とを接続するコネクタ等の接続部が収納されるコネクタ収納部と、さらに接続された心線の余長部分を巻回して保護収納する心線余長収納部とを備えたものが知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、光ケーブルを用いた光通信網では光ケーブルの高密度、多心化が進むにつれて心線余長収納部ではその容量が不足しがちになり、クロージャ内での多数枚重ねられた心線接続収納トレイの多様化で心線余長の納まりが悪くなって、心線にストレスが掛ることが多かったり、心線の光損失が生じ伝送特性に悪影響を与えたり接続分岐に伴う作業や配線整理がやりにくいし、さらには増設も簡単には対応できずコンパクト化できないといった問題が生じている。

本発明は、これら従来の事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、光ケーブルの伝送特性に悪影響を与えることなく、光ケーブルの心線接続や切り替え或いは分岐接続作業が容易に実施でき、テープ心線ごとの収納や整理のほか、心線ごとの増減も簡単にでき、しかも増設も楽で、きわめてコンパクトに接続部を収納することができる取扱い簡便な光ケーブル接続用クロージャを安価な形態で提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上述の課題を解決するために、本発明は、クロージャ内に着脱自在に装着する接続トレイであって、光ケーブルの心線を導出入する心線導出入部と、該心線導出入部から入る心線相互を接続したコネクタを収納するコネクタ収納部と、心線余長を巻回して収納する心線余長収納部とを備えた接続トレイを複数枚重ねて構成される心線接続収納トレイを配備する光ケーブル接続用クロージャにおいて、前記心線接続収納トレイを構成する接続トレイが、該接続トレイの周側壁に心線押え片連結用ヒンジ部を介して複数の心線押え片を開閉自在に設けて心線接続部と心線余長とをそれぞれ個別に収納できる構成となっており、該心線押え片と、該心線押え片を当接する受片と=対向して係止凹凸部を備えると共に、前記心線押え片によって保持される接続トレイ内の心線を整形するための指挿入窓を心線押え片の閉状態位置に対面して接続トレイおよび心線押え片にそれぞれ備えてある。

【作用】
本発明の光ケーブル接続用クロージャは、光ケーブルの心線の接続部及び接続余長部分を保護収納する複数の接続トレイがお互いに着脱自在に装着されているので、任意の接続トレイを開いて或いは取り出したりして心線の接続作業や接続状況の点検、確認、調整などをきわめて容易に行うことができる。
また、各接続トレイは、心線接続部は固定しないし、心線余長も曲率半径を確保した上で取り回し心線押え片よって抱き込んで収納できるので、心線余長の吸収に自由度を持たせて納められ、伝送特性に悪影響を及ぼすことがない。
しかも、心線接続作業時に心線押え片を簡便に開閉させて心線余長の取り扱いを容易、確実にでき、トレイ閉塞後に上側の接続トレイを移動させて元の位置に戻しても心線を心線押え片よって抱き込んで光ケーブルの心線に弛みが生じないし、心線に過度に屈曲することがなく曲率半径の小さい円弧状部分をも生じないで収納でき安全な保護ができるし、適正な曲率半径を保ちながら心線の心線導出入部を安全に反転可能な構成となっているので、取り扱い作業が極めて簡便で作業性をも大幅に向上できる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施例を図面を用いて説明すると、光ケーブル接続クロージャ1は、クロージャ内に固着したフレーム4に複数枚の接続トレイ2からなる心線接続収納トレイ10を着脱自在に装着配備しているが、該接続トレイ2には、光ファイバ心線を導出入する心線導出入部11と、該心線導出入部11から入る心線相互を接続したコネクタを収納するコネクタ収納部12と、心線余長を巻回して収納する心線余長収納部13とを備えると共に、この接続トレイ2を複数枚重合して心線接続収納トレイ10を構成してなるものである。

そして、前記接続トレイ2は、合成樹脂により一体成形された成形品であり、図4乃至図8に示すように、略長方形状の外形を有し、内面側が略同一形状に形成されたもので、接続トレイ2の一対をその上面を対面するように、観音開き式にトレイ連結用ヒンジ部3により開閉自在に連結してなり、それぞれの接続トレイ2,2の周側壁に心線押え片連結用ヒンジ部14,14を介して複数の心線押え片15,15を開閉自在に設けて、心線接続部cと心線余長dとをそれぞれ個別に収納できる構成としてある。
また前記接続トレイ2の心線導出入部11のある底板の両側縁部対称位置に係合凹部7,7をそれぞれ対向して設け、各接続トレイ2を重ねた状態において、フレーム4に突設された係合凸部8に着脱自在に嵌挿してなるものである。

そして、前記クロージャ1内に固着したフレーム4に設けた係合凸部8に前記接続トレイ2を挿脱自在に備えて接続トレイ2に心線接続部と心線余長とを個別収納できる構成とする。

また、前記接続トレイ2に形成した心線導出入部11には、分離スリットのある心線挿通孔を設けた弾性保持部材(図示せず)を圧入嵌合して心線の支持を確実にしてあり、この弾性保持部材は心線径或いは心線数に応じた挿通孔のあるものを選んで用いられる。
さらにコネクタ収納部12及び心線余長収納部13は、必要に応じガイドリブ及び側壁を選んで区画してもよいし、心線の浮きを阻止する心線ガイド片21或いは係止爪を一体成形して、余長の心線や心線接続部となるコネクタを接続トレイ2内に確実に保持できるようにするか、またコネクタ収納部12或いは心線余長収納部13のみを区画した接続トレイ2を組合せて一つとした形態としてもよく、各接続トレイ2毎に心線を分離整理収納し、ケーブル挿入部からファイバ心線の曲げが極少で心線収納時のねじれをも防止でき、安全かつ高密度収納で高信頼性が得られるようにする。

この場合、前記蓋片9と接続トレイ2との両側面部に係止爪19、係止片20を備え、接続トレイ2と心線押え片15とに指挿入窓23,23を設けて心線収納時に心線押え片15,15を開けなくても接続トレイ2の外から心線整形をして心線収納作業を容易にできるようにしてある。

以上のように、いずれかの心線導出入部11から心線aを心線接続収納トレイ2内に入れることができ、かつ心線aの曲率を小さくすることなく(過負荷を加えることなく)、入口側となった心線導出入部11と同一の又は異なる心線導出入部11を出口側として出すことができ、これにより、心線の出入口側を自在として、光ケーブル用クロージャ内での心線の配線の便宜を図ることができる。

そして、心線接続収納トレイ10としては、前記接続トレイ2、2をトレイ連結用ヒンジ部3で連結した形態としたものを重ね合わせたものとして、光ケーブル用クロージャ1内に順次重合されるようにして実装される(図3及び図12参照)。この重合された心線接続収納トレイ2は、一つの心線導出入部11から心線aを入れ接続部cをコネクタ収納部13に入れ、心線余長を心線余長収納部13に取り廻しして他方の心線導出入部11から取り出す配線形態で、各接続トレイ2ごとに行ってクロージャ1内で整理することができる。
即ち、光ケーブル分岐に際し、主線光ケーブルからみて、順方向及び逆方向のどちらの向きに分岐光ケーブルが発生しても心線の接続収納が可能であり、また主線光ケーブルの上部、下部の両方向から分岐光ケーブルへのループ接続も可能であり、接続部の増加にも対応できるし無接続心線或いは保留心線の収納もできる。

【発明の効果】
本発明は、クロージャ内に着脱自在に装着する接続トレイを複数枚重ねて構成される心線接続収納トレイが配備される光ケーブル接続用クロージャにおいて、接続トレイが、接続トレイの周側壁に、心線押え片連結用ヒンジ部を介して複数の心線押え片を開閉自在に設けて心線接続部と心線余長とをそれぞれ個別に収納できる構成となっており、該心線押え片と、該心線押え片を当接する受片とに対向して係止凹凸部を備えると共に、前記心線押え片によって保持される接続トレイ内の心線を整形するための指挿入窓を心線押え片の閉状態位置に対面して接続トレイおよび心線押え片にそれぞれ備えたことで、心線接続部は固定しないし、心線余長も曲率半径を確保した上で取り回し心線押え片よって抱き込んで収納できるので、心線余長の吸収に自由度を持たせて納められ、伝送特性に悪影響を及ぼすことがないし、心線接続収納トレイの構成での係脱が簡便にできて、簡単に重合することもでき、しかも複数枚重ねられた接続トレイは心線導出入部より光ファイバ心線を導出入する心線導出入部と、該心線導出入部から入る心線相互を接続したコネクタを収納するコネクタ収納部と、心線余長を巻回して収納する心線余長収納部とを備えているので、心線接続作業後に任意の接続トレイを開いて収納されている光ファイバ心線を迅速に取り出すことができ、心線識別も容易で接続部の再調整や修理など簡単に行うことができ、作業性を大幅に向上すると共に、各接続トレイを必要なだけ複数に重ねることができると共に、心線接続収納トレイ全体を的確に保持できて安全性も高められる。
