Description
図1に、本発明の一実施形態における回転検出装置としての車輪速度センサ1を車体に取り付けた時の模式図を示す。また、図2に、図1中の車輪速度センサ1の断面図を示し、図3に図2の車輪速度センサ1を左側から図2中の矢印のようにみたときの図を示す。なお、図2は図3中のA−A線方向断面図である。
第1実施形態では、モールドIC13の検出面13bと異なる側面13dのテーパ形状部13gを被圧入固定部位とし、保持部21のリブ形状部21dを圧入固定部位として、モールドIC13を保持部21に固定する場合を説明したが、以下のように、モールドIC13を保持部21に固定することもできる。

Claims (6)
- 被検体(4)の回転を検出するためのセンシング素子を有するモールドIC(13)と、前記モールドICを保持するための保持部(21)とを含んで構成されたセンサ本体(12)を備え、
前記モールドICは、前記被検体に対面させ、前記被検体の回転を検出するための検出面(13b)を有し、
前記保持部は前記検出面よりも前記被検体から離れた側に位置する形状であり、
前記モールドICは前記検出面が露出した状態で前記検出面と異なる部位(13d)が前記保持部に圧入固定されており、
前記モールドICは、前記検出面の反対側に位置する背面(13c)と、前記検出面と前記背面とに隣接する2つの側面(13d)とを有し、前記保持部は底面(21a)と側壁(21b)とからなる凹部を有しており、 前記モールドICは、前記背面が前記保持部の底面と対向するように配置され、前記側面を被圧入固定部位とし、前記保持部の側壁を圧入固定部位として、前記保持部に固定されており、
前記モールドICの前記側面は、前記検出面から前記背面に向かうにつれ、前記2つの側面の間の距離を長くするように設けられたテーパ形状部分(13g)を有し、前記保持部は前記側壁のうち、前記テーパ形状部分に対向する部位にて、前記モールドIC側に突出した突出部(21d)を有しており、 前記モールドICは前記テーパ形状部分を被圧入固定部位とし、前記保持部の突出部を圧入固定部位として、前記モールドICが前記保持部に固定されていること、
を特徴とする回転検出装置。 - 前記モールドICは検出面と平行な方向を挿入方向として、前記保持部に挿入されることで圧入固定されており、前記保持部は前記モールドICの挿入入り口近傍を除く領域に前記突出部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転検出装置。
- 前記センサ本体は前記モールドICを外部と電気的に接続するためのコネクタ部(22)を有しており、前記センサ本体は前記保持部と前記コネクタ部とが一度の樹脂成形により形成された一体した構造であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の回転検出装置。
- 前記センサ本体は、前記コネクタ部から前記モールドICにかけて配置され、前記センサ本体の内部に固定されたターミナル(14)を有し、
前記ターミナルの端部(14a)は、前記モールドICのリード(13a)と接続されており、
前記センサ本体(12)に前記モールドIC(13)を組み付けたときに、前記リード(13a)と接続できる位置に前記端部(14a)が位置するように、前記ターミナルの前記端部(14a)が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の回転検出装置。 - 前記センサ本体は複数の前記ターミナルを有しており、前記複数のターミナルが前記センサ本体から露出している部分にて、隣り合う前記複数のターミナルの間に配置された短絡防止壁(12f)を備えていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の回転検出装置。
- 前記センサ本体は円筒状の側面(11a)の端に底面(11b)を有する蓋形をなすカバー(11)に収容されており、
前記センサ本体は、前記センサ本体と一体で連続した部分であって、前記カバーの内径と同等の円弧状の部分を有する略リング形状の外周部(12c)を備え、
前記外周部(12c)が前記底面(11b)側に位置した状態で、前記センサ本体が前記カバーに固定されており、
前記外周部の中心よりも外側に前記保持部が配置され、前記保持部に固定されている前記モールドICの前記リードは前記外周部の中心側に配置されており、
前記外周部の中心側部分は、少なくとも前記モールドICの前記リードと前記ターミナルの前記端部との接続部分に対向する部位が開口していることを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載の回転検出装置。
