Description
a)特殊鋼からブランク(10)を製造し、
b)複数の深絞り工程で、縦軸線(25)に対して傾斜された底部(11.4)を有する、鉢状若しくはカップ状の部材(10.1;10.2;10.3;10.4)を絞り加工し、この際に、直径(D1,D2,D3,D4)がその都度全周壁長さ(L1,L2,L3,L4)に亘って同じであるが、次第に小さくなるようにし、かつ周壁長さ(L1,L2,L3,L4)が次第に増大するようにし、
c)底部(11.4)に、周壁(12.4)に向かって環状の縁部(14)を備えた中心的な孔(13)を打ち抜き成形によって形成し、
d)周壁(12.4)を、カップ状部材(10.4)の縦軸線(25)に対して垂直に、要求された長さ(Lo)に切断し、周壁(12.5)に、凝縮水排出用貫通部(16)及び/又は固定用孔を形成し、
e)カップ状部材(11.5)の縁部(14)を、縦軸線(25)に対して平行に曲げ、次いでカップ状部材(10.6)内に巻いて円弧状の終端部(17)を形成し、
f)最後に、切断され、かつ開放されたカップ状部材(10.7)の端面側(15)の端部区分(18)を絞って直径を減少させる、
という直接連続する方法段階を組み合わせるようにした。
図2〜図5は、次第に減少された直径及び次第に増大された周壁長さを有する中間製品としてのカップ状部材のための深絞り工程、
図6及び図7は、カップ状部材の底部の切断及び打ち抜き工程、
図8は、カップ状部材の周壁の長さを短くし、カップ状部材の周壁に貫通部及び/又は孔を形成する工程、
図9は、底部に設けられた孔をリーマ仕上げする工程、
図10は、底部で縁部を垂直に整列するための工具、
図11は、縁部を巻くための工具、
図12は、周壁端部区分を絞る工程、
図13は、完成されたカバーの垂直断面図、
図14は、スリーブ状のカバー内の絞られた端部区分を有する端面側を示す図、
図15は、完成されたカバーの面取りされた端面側の巻き上げられた端部の拡大した部分断面図である。
Claims (6)
- 自動車のエキゾーストパイプの端部に被せ嵌めるためのカバーを、深絞り加工可能な特殊鋼切片より製造するための方法において、
a)特殊鋼からブランク(10)を製造し、
b)複数の深絞り工程で、縦軸線(25)に対して傾斜された底部(11.4)を有する、鉢状若しくはカップ状の部材(10.1;10.2;10.3;10.4)を絞り加工し、この際に、直径(D1,D2,D3,D4)がその都度全周壁長さ(L1,L2,L3,L4)に亘って同じであるが、次第に小さくなるようにし、かつ周壁長さ(L1,L2,L3,L4)が次第に増大するようにし、
c)底部(11.4)に、周壁(12.4)に向かって環状の縁部(14)を備えた中心的な孔(13)を打ち抜き成形によって形成し、
d)周壁(12.4)を、カップ状部材(10.4)の縦軸線(25)に対して垂直に、要求された長さ(Lo)に切断し、周壁(12.5)に、凝縮水排出用貫通部(16)及び/又は固定用孔を形成し、
e)カップ状部材(11.5)の縁部(14)を、縦軸線(25)に対して平行に曲げ、次いでカップ状部材(10.6)内に巻いて円弧状の終端部(17)を形成し、
f)最後に、切断され、かつ開放されたカップ状部材(10.7)の端面側(15)の端部区分(18)を絞って直径を減少させる、
という直接連続する方法段階を組み合わせることを特徴とする、自動車のエキゾーストパイプの端部に被せ嵌めるためのカバーを製造するための方法。 - 種々異なる深絞り段階において、傾斜された底部(11.1,11.2,11.3,11.4,11.5,11.6)から周壁(12.1,12.2.12.3,12.4,12.5)への移行部を常に丸味付けする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 種々異なる深絞り段階において、底部(11.2,11.3,11.4,11.5,11.6)を周壁(12.1,12.2.12.3,12.4,12.5)に対して、底部の直径が縦軸線(25)に対して70°若しくは110°となるように傾斜させる、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 周壁(12.4)を、要求された長さ(Lo)に切断する工程と、凝縮水排出用貫通部(16)及び/又は固定用孔を形成する工程とを、一緒に行う、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 円弧状の端部(15)を巻く作業の前に、底部(11.5)の孔(13)をリーマ仕上げする(13.1)、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- カバーを一体的にスリーブ状に構成し、縦軸線(25)に対して傾斜された一方の端面側(11.6)に、円弧状に巻かれた端部(17)を備え、縦軸線(25)に対して垂直に位置する他方の端面側(15)の直径を、この端面側(15)に続く端部区分(18)で、その他の周壁(12.4)の直径(D)よりも小さくする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
