Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a plug for water leakage inspection at a joint between a pipe joint and a pipe used for piping work of an apartment house.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In plumbing work for apartment buildings, one-touch type pipe fittings are usually used to connect pipes to pipe fittings, but in this case, the method of inserting the pipes into the pipe fittings is insufficient. If this happens, it will cause a problem of water leakage later. Therefore, it is required to sufficiently inspect the presence or absence of water leakage during construction.
[0003]
Here, an example of the procedure is shown about the water leak test | inspection between the conventional pipe joint and a pipe | tube.
(1) A pipe is connected to one end of the pipe joint, and a cylindrical column having a male screw covered with a seal film is screwed into the female screw portion at the other end to seal one end of the pipe. At this time, a seal film is interposed between the female screw of the pipe joint and the male screw of the plug, which are screwed together, and the two are sealed.
(2) Next, while introducing water for inspection into the pipe connected to one end of the connecting pipe, it is in the way of inspection when checking the presence or absence of water leakage by adding water pressure (checking whether the connection is complete). In order to remove the residual air in the pipe joint and the pipe, the residual air is discharged to the outside while slightly loosening the plug body by delicate adjustment. After the residual air is discharged, the plug is tightened again. .
(3) Raise the water pressure in the pipe and inspect for water leakage between the pipe joint and the pipe. Of course, when there is water leakage, the connection between the pipe joint and the pipe is corrected to a normal mode.
And in each said work process, a special spanner is needed, workability | operativity is bad, and a cost increase is accompanied.
[0004]
In such a conventional water leakage inspection between a pipe joint and a pipe, the work as a whole is troublesome, and after the inspection is finished, the seal part pressed and adhered to the threaded part of the pipe joint and the threaded part of the plug body. All of the film for the cable has to be removed, and it takes time, and if the film remains on the threaded part of the pipe joint, it may cause trouble in the screwing of a faucet or the like to be further connected to the film. Many problems remain, such as incomplete sealing between the tap and the faucet.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The plug for water leakage inspection according to the present invention has been proposed to solve the above-mentioned problems, so that the water leakage inspection at the joint between the pipe joint and the pipe can be easily and quickly performed in piping work such as waterworks. In addition, it has been proposed for the purpose of eliminating the use of a film for sealing.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the water leakage inspection plug according to the present invention has an internal structure when water for inspection is introduced into the pipe joint and the pipe in order to inspect the presence or absence of water leakage at the joint between the pipe joint and the pipe. Used to eliminate air remaining in the pipe; providing a through passage for extracting air from the plug body that is temporarily screwed to one end of the pipe joint to seal the pipe joint; A valve body that is normally biased to the closed position by a spring and is seated on the valve seat in the through passage is mounted; the valve body is operated from the outside of the plug body so that it can be opened against the push spring. A part of the through passage is also used as a tool engagement hole having a non-circular cross-sectional shape for engaging a tool used when the plug body is screwed or detached from one end of the pipe joint. and it has a structure to a structure condition; it
[0007]
Preferably, an annular seal means is provided at a portion of the plug main body where one end face of the threaded joint is opposed, and an annular seal means is provided at a portion of the plug main body facing the valve body. Is.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a plug of the present invention will be described based on an embodiment shown in the drawings.
In FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, reference numeral 1 is a plug body whose longitudinal section is T-shaped or any other shape, and this plug 1 is used for water leakage at the connection between the pipe joint 9 and the pipe 30. It is used for inspecting the presence or absence, and is used for eliminating air remaining in the pipe joint 9 and the pipe 30 when water for inspection is introduced from the pipe 30.
[0009]
An example of the connecting portion between the pipe joint 9 and the pipe 30 to be inspected is shown in FIG. 4. A grab ring 91, a washer 92, an O-ring 93, etc. are built in one end side of the pipe joint 9, and this is a socket 94. It is fixed at. Then, for example, a collar 31 is fitted at the tip of the resin tube 30 and is inserted and connected. In this connection, the nail of the grab ring 91 bites into the outer surface of the tube 30 and the insertion of the tube 30 is completed here. If the insertion of the tube 30 is insufficient, the nail of the grab ring 91 Insufficient biting or contact with the O-ring 91 is not complete and water leakage occurs.
[0010]
The plug of the present invention is for confirming the completeness of the insertion of the pipe 30 into the pipe joint 9, and a male thread 1a is engraved on the outer peripheral surface of the small-diameter portion of the plug body 1 having a circular front face. The male screw 1a is temporarily screwed into a female screw 9a provided on the inner peripheral surface of one end of the pipe joint 9 at the time of inspection. The plug body 1 is provided with a through passage 2 for venting air along the central axis, and in the illustrated example, the through passage 2 has a cross section that is continuously provided from the front to the rear. It consists of a non-circular tool engaging hole 21, a small-diameter hole 22 having a circular cross section, and a large-diameter hole 23 having a circular cross section.
[0011]
Then, the large-diameter hole 23 of the through-passage 2 is pushed by an annular seal means 3 such as an O-ring in order from the inner side to the outer side, preferably a spherically shaped valve body 4 and a compression coil spring. A spring 5 is inserted, and these members 3, 4, 5 can be deformed or displaced in the large-diameter hole 23 of the through-passage 2 by a bottomed cylindrical stopper piece 6 having a flow hole 6a in the center. It is held in a state where it cannot be removed. As a fixing means for the large-diameter hole 23 of the stopper piece 6, caulking, welding, adhesion, or the like can be employed.
[0012]
The seal means 3 mounted on the bottom of the large-diameter hole 23 of the plug body 1 so as to face the valve body 4 allows air and water in the pipe joint 9 to be discharged to the outside when the valve body 4 is not operating normally. It is provided in order to reinforce the sealing performance between the valve seat 1b and the valve body 4 provided in the step portion of the through passage 2 in a normal state. However, it is not always necessary to provide the sealing means 3 when the sealing performance between the valve body 4 and the valve seat 1b is sufficient.
[0013]
The valve body 4 is normally urged by the push spring 5 and seated on the valve seat 11, but a part of the valve body 4 is exposed to the outside of the plug body 1 through the small diameter hole 22 and the tool engaging hole 21. Yes. Accordingly, if a rod-shaped tool (not shown) is inserted from the through passage 2 as shown by the arrow A in FIG. 4 and the valve body 4 is pushed against the urging force of the push spring 5, the valve body 4 is opened. However, the outflow of air or water in the pipe joint 9 is allowed.
[0014]
In the figure, reference numeral 7 denotes an annular seal means such as an O-ring provided at a step portion of the plug body 1, that is, a portion where one end face of the threaded joint 9 is opposed, and the tubular joint 9 is screwed. In this state, the air or water in the pipe can be kept tight, and is provided to reinforce the sealing performance in the screwing of the male thread 1a of the plug body 1 and the female thread 9a of the pipe joint 9. Although not shown, when a male thread is cut around one end of the pipe joint 9 to be inspected, a cylindrical part is formed at the rear part of the plug body 1 and a female thread is provided around it. Both may be screwed together.
It should be noted that the tool for screwing the plug body 1 into the inspection target pipe joint 9 or removing it from the pipe joint 9 need not be special.
[0015]
Next, the use of the plug for water leakage inspection of the present invention will be described.
(1) In the inspection of water leakage, first, the pipe 30 is connected to one end of the pipe joint 9, and the plug of the present invention is screwed to the other end to seal the pipe joint 9.
(2) Next, water for inspection is introduced into the pipe 30, while a rod-like tool is inserted from the through passage 2 as indicated by an arrow A, and the valve body 4 seated on the valve seat 11 is moved to the push spring 5. It pushes in against, opens the valve body 4, and discharges the residual air which becomes the obstacle of a water leakage test | inspection from the pipe joint 9 to the exterior through the through-passage 2.
(3) After removing the rod-shaped tool, the water pressure in the pipe joint 9 and the pipe 30 is increased to a predetermined height, and the connection portion of the pipe joint 9 is inspected for water leakage. After the inspection, the plug body 1 is removed from the pipe joint 9. Needless to say, if there is a water leak, the pipe connection should be corrected to an appropriate state.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
According to the water leakage inspection plug of the present invention described above, the water leakage inspection of the connecting portion between the pipe joint and the pipe can be performed very easily and quickly in the plumbing work of the water supply and the like. Since the use of the film can be eliminated, the piping work can be efficiently performed without any water leakage of the pipe. Needless to say, the water leakage inspection plug of the present invention can be applied not only to pipes for water supply and hot water supply, but also to connection inspection of hydraulic hoses and the like.
