1)接続する2本の管端部に、円周廻りに多数のボルト孔を設けたフランジを溶接し、両フランジ間に例えばゴムから成るパッキングを挟み、両フランジをボルト締めして耐圧接続するものと、
2)接続する2本の管端部の外周にネジを切り、シーリングテープで防水処理後、両端に雌ねじ嵌合部を持った圧送用継手装置で両管を回転挿入し、耐圧接続するものがあった。しかし近年、耐久性、防音性及び環境性能の向上のために、内周に防錆樹脂処理を行った排水用硬質塩化ビニルライニング鋼管(いわゆるDVLP)が多用されるようになり、管外層を加工する上記従来の方法を使用することができなくなってきた。
る、管抜け防止用の締め付け金具も提供されている。しかし、この締め付け金具は、パッキングを内包する継手金具とともに数箇所のボルトによって共締めする構造であるため、ボルトナットを締め付けても、締め付け金具の内径変位は僅かであり、管表面に対する締め付け金具内面による把持力の向上を望むことは殆んどできないと考えられる。前記と同様に30cmの管材を継手装置で、接続し、引き抜き荷重を印加する試験を行ったとこ
ろ、A継手は2KN〜20KNで抜け出したのに対して、締め付け金具付きの継手は20KN〜30KNと、ばらつきは減少するが、引き抜き耐荷重は1.5倍程度増加するに過ぎず、B継手の40KN〜60KNという耐引き抜き荷重に対しても不足であり、圧送排水用管継手として適当とはいえない。
で、例えば、建物の排水システムにおいて、内部の排水槽からポンプ等を用いて外部排出路に圧送するケースなどが該当する。本発明を適用する管体については種類を問うものではなく、前記したDVLPと称される排水用の硬質塩化ビニル鋼管にも、また従来から使用されて来た鋼管にも適用可能である。

42は2個1対のほぼ半円形状のものである。従って開閉可能な端部は左右2箇所31、32、31′、32′となり、左右夫々の開口部36、36′が締め付け手段のボルトナット34、35、34′、35′によって締め付けられ、1対のグリップ部分41、42の弾性で管体11を確実に把持する。大口径管の場合、図5の2箇所の連結部43、43′を有する構成により耐振動性が格段に向上する。
せ、そのフランジ部14と前記継手リング15のボルト孔にボルト16を差し込み、かつナット17を螺合して締結作業を行うとともに、管体上に挿入した状態にあるグリップ部30…の端部31、32…にボルト34を通しナット35を締め付けて、管体外周面を強固に把持した状態とする。
排水鋼管用可撓管継手の加速試験としてB継手について行った反復曲げ試験法を図7に示す。加速劣化試験のため印加水圧を通常の0.1MPaから0.75MPaとし、管軸方向に対する直交荷重を繰り返し加え、抜け出した管体の外側面を観察したところ、図8(a)に示すように、パッキングに配置した剛体球の食い込んだ痕跡が管端部に向かってほぼ直線状に掘られており、このことから剛体球と管本体が互いに堅く接触しながら水圧によって押し出されていったことが理解される。図8(b)は反復曲げ試験の継手内部の動作を解明するもので、本試験における曲げ角度Δθは±30/1000ラジアンであり、管体を剛体とすれば継手部内における内径114.3mmの管体の曲げにより剛体球の接触部に生じる変位Δδは1/2(114.3)×30/1000≒1.7mmとなる。つまり反復曲げ試験により継手内で管体と剛体球との接触店は強制的に±1.7mmクリープすることになる。換言すれば、反復曲げが加わるだけで内圧によりクリープを生じ、外部からの引き抜き力がなくとも遂には抜け出しに到ることが分かる。
て、管体内部の水圧による耐引き抜き力を、剛体球のみから成るB継手に比較して2桁以上向上させることができるとともに、剛体球25を支点とした管体11の振動を排除し、圧送時脈動振動に対抗して、内圧による押し出し現象を解消することを可能にするものである。本発明では継手部18における管体11の締め付け(漏水防止と剛体球による把持機能)と、グリップ部30…の締め付け(管体外周面に対する把持、耐抜け出し摩擦力、耐振防止力)とは、夫々独立した機能であり相互に関係し合わないため効果的に作用す
る。よって本発明によればB継手における51万回(約17日間)で脱落という結果と比較して一桁或いは二桁台の性能向上が見込まれるので数十年以上の耐用年数を得ることができる。

Claims (6)
- 排水部から外部排出部に排水を圧送する管体を接続するための管継手装置であって、管体の外周面と継手リングの内側斜面との間に複数個の剛体球を配置したパッキングを挿入
し、継手リングの締め付け時に内側斜面の分力によって剛体球を管体の外周面に加圧する構成を有し、かつ継手リングを締め付ける締結手段とは別に、管体の外周面を締め付けるグリップ部を継手リング部との間に間隙を存した一体構造のものとして有していることを特徴とする圧送排水用管継手装置。 - 排水部から外部排出部に排水を圧送する管体を接続するための管継手装置であって、管体の外周面と継手リングの内側斜面との間に複数個の剛体球を配置したパッキングを挿入
し、継手リングの締め付け時に内側斜面の分力によって剛体球を管体の外周面に加圧する構成を有し、かつ継手リングを締め付ける締結手段とは別に、管体の外周面を締め付けるグリップ部を継手リング部との間に間隙を存した一体構造のものとして有しており、グリップ部は、弾性力によって把持力を発揮するもので、開閉可能な端部から次第に厚みの増す構造を有し、最大厚みに部分にて継手と一体化されていることを特徴とする圧送排水用管継手装置。 - グリップ部は、開閉可能な端部を有するC−クランプ形の正面形状を有し、上記端部を閉じる方向にボルトナットにより締め付けるように構成されている請求項1又は2記載の圧送排水用管継手装置。
- グリップ部は、挿入すべき管体の外形以下の内径を有しており、挿入時に端部を広げて内径を管体の外形以上とし、挿入後、端部を広げることを解除する請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の圧送排水用管継手装置。
- グリップ部は、1対のほぼ半円形上のグリップ部分から成り、各グリップ部分は各々の継手部と一体化されており、かつ予め離れて設けられた端部を閉じる方向へボルトナットにより締め付けるように構成されている請求項1又は2記載の圧送排水用管継手装置。
- グリップ部は、管体外周面と接触可能な内周面に管体の抜け方向力に対抗して摩擦抵抗を高めるための摩擦増大部を有している請求項1又は2記載の圧送排水用管継手装置。
