【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、番組予約方法及びシステム及び番組予約サーバ及び番組予約プログラム及びコンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体に係り、特に、ユーザが自分の嗜好にあった番組を予約するための番組予約方法及びシステム及び番組予約サーバ及び番組予約プログラム及びコンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体に関する。

【従来の技術】
ユーザが自分の嗜好にあった番組を予約したい場合、ユーザは事前に好みのアーティスト名／出演者・番組名・番組ジャンル名等を登録しておくことで、その情報を元に電子番組表（ＥＰＧ）を利用して嗜好にあった番組を検出し、それらの番組を自動予約するシステムが開発されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来の技術における番組予約システムは、好みのアーティスト名／出演者・番組名・番組ジャンル名等を事前に登録しておく必要があり、日々移り変わるユーザ嗜好に対応させるためには、その都度、それら項目を登録し直す必要がある。従って人手を煩わすという問題がある。

また、近年、ＣＤ，ＭＤ，ＤＶＤ等のメディア、また、それらを再生するパーソナルコンピュータ、ポータブルプレーヤ、コンポーネント等のメディア再生端末が普及し、ユーザ個人がそれらを視聴して楽しむ機会が頻繁になってきているが、これらを番組予約システムに適用させる方法がない。

本発明は、上記の点に鑑みなされたもので、ユーザが自分の嗜好にあった番組を予約したい場合、日々利用しているメディア再生端末から、視聴メディア情報を抽出し、それらをキーとして電子番組表内から嗜好にあった番組を検出し、それらの番組を予約することが可能な番組予約方法及びシステム及び番組予約サーバ及び番組予約プログラム及びコンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体を提供することを目的とする。

本発明（請求項１）は、メディア再生端末、番組予約サーバ、及び番組予約端末からなる番組予約システムにおける番組予約方法であって、
メディア再生端末において、
メディアに対して再生を含む操作が行われたことを契機に、メディアに出演者あるいはアーティスト、コンテンツ名を含む付加情報がある場合には当該付加情報と再生日時情報を含む情報をメディア情報として抽出し、付加情報がない場合には、メディアのコンテンツ時間、コンテンツ順序、及び、再生日時情報を含む情報をメディア情報として抽出し、メディア情報を番組予約サーバに送信し（ステップ１）、
番組予約サーバにおいて、
メディア再生端末から受信したメディア情報に含まれた情報をキーとして、少なくともコンテンツ名、コンテンツ時間、コンテンツ順序、出演者あるいはアーティストを含む情報が格納されたデータベースを検索し（ステップ２）、対応する情報に付随した情報を元のメディア情報に付加し、そのメディア情報を再生日時情報を含めてメディア履歴データベースに格納し（ステップ３）、
メディア履歴データベースから、一定期間に所定回数以上、当該メディア履歴データベースに登録された情報を検索し、該当する情報を番組予約キーとして抽出し（ステップ４）、
電子番組表と番組予約キーに基づいて番組予約情報を作成し（ステップ５）、
作成された番組予約情報を番組予約端末に送信し（ステップ６）、
番組予約端末において、
受信した番組予約情報を番組予約部に蓄積する。

本発明（請求項２）は、メディア再生端末、番組予約サーバ、及び録画予約に利用される番組予約情報を蓄積する番組予約端末からなる番組予約システムにおいて、メディア再生端末から取得した情報に基づいて番組予約情報を作成し、作成された番組予約情報を番組予約端末に送信する番組予約サーバにおける番組予約方法において、
メディア再生端末から、メディアに出演者あるいはアーティスト、コンテンツ名を含む付加情報がある場合には当該付加情報と再生日時情報を含むメディア情報を、付加情報がない場合には、メディアのコンテンツ時間、コンテンツ順序、及び、再生日時情報を含むメディア情報を受信し、
受信したメディア情報に含まれた情報をキーとして、少なくともコンテンツ名、コンテンツ時間、コンテンツ順序、出演者あるいはアーティストを含む情報が格納されたデータベースを検索し、対応する情報に付随した情報を元のメディア情報に付加し、そのメディア情報を再生日時情報を含めてメディア履歴データベースに格納し、
メディア履歴データベースから、一定期間に所定回数以上、当該メディア履歴データベースに登録された情報を検索し、該当する情報を番組予約キーとして抽出し、
番組予約表と番組予約キーに基づいて番組予約情報を作成し、
作成された番組予約情報を番組予約端末に送信する。

メディア履歴データベース２０４から、一定期間に所定回数以上、当該メディア履歴データベース２０４に登録された情報を検索し、該当する情報を番組予約キーとして抽出し、電子番組表２１１と番組予約キーに基づいて番組予約情報を作成する番組予約作成手段２０３と、
作成された番組予約情報を番組予約端末３００に送信する番組予約情報送信手段２０５と、を有し、
番組予約端末３００は、
受信した番組予約情報を番組予約部に蓄積する手段を有する。

本発明（請求項４）は、メディア再生端末、番組予約サーバ、及び録画予約に利用される番組予約情報を蓄積する番組予約端末からなる番組予約システムにおいて、メディア再生端末から取得した情報に基づいて番組予約情報を作成し、作成された番組予約情報を番組予約端末に送信する番組予約サーバであって、
メディア再生端末から、メディアに出演者あるいはアーティスト、コンテンツ名を含む付加情報がある場合には当該付加情報と再生日時情報を含むメディア情報を、付加情報がない場合には、メディアのコンテンツ時間、コンテンツ順序、及び、再生日時情報を含むメディア情報を受信する受信手段と、

受信したメディア情報に含まれた情報をキーとして、メディア情報データベースを検索し、対応する情報に付随した情報を元のメディア情報に付加し、そのメディア情報を再生日時情報を含めてメディア履歴データベースに格納するメディア情報解析手段と、
メディア履歴データベースから、一定期間に所定回数以上、当該メディア履歴データベースに登録された情報を検索し、該当する情報を番組予約キーとして抽出し、番組予約表と番組予約キーに基づいて番組予約情報を作成する番組予約作成手段と、
作成された番組予約情報を番組予約端末に送信する番組予約情報送信手段と、を有する。

上記のように、本発明では、メディア再生端末において、メディアの格納時、または、メディアの再生、停止、巻き戻し、早送りなどの操作を契機に、メディア情報が抽出されると、予めデータベースに蓄積されているコンテンツ名、コンテンツ時間、コンテンツ順序、出演者／アーティスト等の情報を参照して当該メディア情報を解析し、解析されたメディア情報に基づいて電子番組表から番組を検出して番組予約情報を作成することにより、ユーザの嗜好に併せた番組選択が可能となる。

また、番組予約サーバにおいて、メディア情報と過去のメディア情報を履歴データベースに格納しておくことにより、当該履歴データベースを参照することにより、所定の期間内に所定の出現頻度を持つメディア情報を抽出し、当該メディア情報に関連する番組予約情報が作成されるため、よりユーザの嗜好を反映させた番組選択が可能となる。

さらに、番組予約サーバで作成された番組予約情報を、メディア再生端末においてユーザに対して表示することにより、ユーザは視聴したい番組を選択することが可能となると共に、さらに、ユーザにより選択された番組予約確定情報を直接、番組予約端末に送信することが可能となる。

【発明の実施の形態】
［第１の実施の形態］
本実施の形態では、メディア再生端末からメディア情報を受け取った番組予約サーバが当該メディア情報を解析して番組予約情報を作成して、番組予約端末に送信する場合について説明する。

図３は、本発明の第１の実施の形態におけるシステム構成を示す。

同図に示すシステムは、メディア再生端末１００、番組予約サーバ２００、番組予約端末３００から構成される。

メディア再生端末１００は、メディア格納部１０１、メディア情報抽出部１０２、データ送信部１０３から構成される。

メディア格納部１０１は、常時メディアの端末格納状況を監視しており、メディアが格納されたか否かを判別する。

メディア情報抽出部１０２は、メディア格納部１０１に格納されたメディアの情報を抽出する。メディア情報とは、出演者／アーティスト名・コンテンツ名等であり、それらの情報がメディアに付加されていない場合には、コンテンツ順序やコンテンツ時間といったＣＤアルバムなどのコンテンツを一意に確定させるＴＯＣ（Table Of Contents)情報でもよい。ここで、ＴＯＣ情報には、ＣＤアルバムなどのコンテンツ（曲目）の再生時間であるコンテンツ時間、ＣＤアルバムなどにおける格納の順序であるコンテンツ順序などがある。

データ送信部１０３は、メディア情報抽出部１０２で抽出されたメディア情報を番組予約サーバ２００に送信する。

メディア再生端末１００のメディア格納部１０１は、常時メディアの端末格納状況を監視しており（ステップ１０１）、メディアが格納されたか否かを判別する（ステップ１０２）。メディアが格納されていなければ（ステップ１０２，Ｎｏ）、処理動作を終了し、メディアが端末に格納されれば（ステップ１０２，Ｙｅｓ）、メディア情報抽出部１０２により、格納されたメディアの情報を自動的に抽出する（ステップ１０３）。

ここで、上記のメディア情報は、出演者／アーティスト名・コンテンツ名等であり、それらの情報がメディアに付加されていない場合は、コンテンツ時間・コンテンツ順序などのＴＯＣ情報でもよい。

そして、データ送信部１０３により、上記メディア情報を自動的に番組予約サーバ２００に送信する（ステップ１０４）。

上記のメディア情報は、番組予約サーバ２００におけるデータ送受信部２０１が受け取り、メディア情報データベース２１０を利用してメディア情報解析部２０２において、メディア情報の中身を解析する（ステップ１０５）。例えば、図５（Ａ）に示すように、メディア情報のコンテンツ名（Ｘ１）をキーとして、メディア情報データベース２１０内を検索し、対応するコンテンツ名（Ｘ１）に付随した情報を、元のメディア情報に付加する。また、図５（Ｂ）に示すように、メディア情報に、上記の情報が含まれず、コンテンツ順序・コンテンツ時間等の情報のみの場合も同様にして、それらの情報によってメディア情報データベース２１０内を検索し、対応するコンテンツ名、出演者／アーティスト名等の情報を、元のメディア情報に付加する。

上記において更新されたメディア情報は、番組予約判断部２０３に渡し、コンテンツ名・出演者／アーティスト名等のメディア情報内の項目をキーとして、電子番組表データベース２１１内を検索する（ステップ１０６）。

該当する番組が存在しなければ（ステップ１０７，Ｎｏ）、処理動作を終了し、該当する番組が存在すれば（ステップ１０７，Ｙｅｓ）、番組予約情報を作成する（ステップ１０８）。例えば、図６に示すように、メディア情報解析部２０から得られるメディア情報内のコンテンツ名、出演者／アーティスト名、関連情報等をキーとして電子番組表データベース２１１内を検索し、該当する番組を抽出して、日付、時間、放送局、番組名等を用いて番組予約情報を作成する。

次に、番組予約サーバ２００は、上記により作成した番組予約情報を、番組予約サーバ２００におけるデータ送受信部２０１から番組予約端末３００に送信し（ステップ１０９）、番組予約端末３００における番組予約部３０１に蓄積する（ステップ１１０）。番組予約情報は、番組の再生予約・録画予約等に利用される。

［第２の実施の形態］
本実施の形態では、番組予約サーバがメディア情報を履歴として格納したメディア情報データベースを参照して、ユーザが頻繁に視聴しているメディアに関連する番組を予約を行う場合について説明する。

図７は、本発明の第２の実施の形態におけるシステム構成を示す。同図において、図３と同一構成部分には同一符号を付し、その説明を省略する。図７に示すシステムは、図３の構成における、メディア再生端末１００にメディア再生制御部１０４が付加され、番組予約サーバ２００にメディア履歴データベース２０４が付加された構成である。

上記のメディア情報は、例えば、あるＭＤ中のある曲がある日時に再生されていたとすると、図９に示すように、前述の第１の実施の形態におけるメディア情報に日時情報が付加されたものとなる。

そして、そのメディア情報を、再生日時を含めて、メディア履歴データベース２０４に登録する（ステップ２０４）。これにより、その登録処理をトリガとして、ある期間内において（例えば、１週間以内に）、ある閾値以上、メディア履歴データベース２０４に登録された情報を検索し（ステップ２０５）、該当する項目が存在しなければ（ステップ２０６、Ｎｏ）、処理動作を終了し、該当する項目が存在すれば（ステップ２０６、Ｙｅｓ）、その情報を番組予約キーとして作成する（ステップ２０７）。例えば、あるアーティスト（Ａ１）の曲を日々頻繁に聴いていると、そのアーティスト（Ａ１）が頻繁にメディア履歴データベース２０４に登録され、ある閾値以上登録されると、図１０に示すような番組予約キーが作成される。

そして、作成された番組予約キーを番組予約判断部２０３に渡し、当該番組予約キーに基づいて、電子番組表データベース２１１を検索する（ステップ２０８）。該当する番組が存在しなければ（ステップ２０９，Ｎｏ）、処理動作を終了し、該当する番組が存在すれば（ステップ２０９、Ｙｅｓ）、番組予約情報を作成する（ステップ２１０）。

［第３の実施の形態］
本実施の形態では、番組予約サーバ２００が番組予約情報を番組予約端末３００に送信するのではなく、メディア再生端末１００に送信し、メディア再生端末１００において、番組予約情報を表示し、ユーザが予約を必要とする番組の選択を行い、選択された番組を番組予約確定情報として、番組予約サーバ２００を介して、または、直接、番組予約端末３００に送信する例を説明する。

上記の番組予約情報は、メディア再生端末１００のデータ送受信部１０５が受信し、その情報を表示部１０６に表示する（ステップ３０３）。ここで、ユーザは、メディア再生端末１００における既存のボタンを利用し、表示部１０６に表示される番組予約情報において、予約したい番組を選択する（ステップ３０４）。そして、選択された番組予約確定情報を、メディア再生端末１００のデータ送受信部１０５から番組予約サーバ２００に送信する（ステップ３０５）。

また、上記のステップ３０６及びステップ３０７では、番組予約サーバ２００を介して番組予約端末３００に送信しているが、メディア再生端末１００のデータ送受信部１０５から直接番組予約端末３００の番組予約部３０１に送信するようにしてもよい。

最後に、上記の各実施の形態において、番組予約サーバ２００から番組予約情報を送信する先の番組予約端末３００を決定する方法について説明する。

番組予約端末の決定方法には、以下の２つの方法がある。

まず、１つは、メディア再生端末１００から指定する方法である。メディア情報を番組予約サーバ２００に送るとき、配信先の番組予約端末３００を識別する情報（例えば、ＩＰアドレス）も付加して送る。番組予約サーバ２００が記憶しておくことにより、番組予約端末を特定することができる。

２つ目の方法は、番組予約サーバ２００において、メディア再生端末１００と番組予約端末３００の対応をテーブルとして管理しておく方法である。メディア再生端末１００をキーとしてテーブルを検索し、番組予約端末を特定することができる。テーブルの更新は、メディア再生端末あるいは、番組予約端末からのリクエストにより実施できる。

なお、番組予約端末は１つのメディア再生端末につき１台と限定するものではなく、前者の方法であれば、メディア再生端末から複数の番組予約端末を指定しもよい。後者の方法であれば、テーブルにおいて１つのメディア再生端末につき、複数の番組予約端末を格納してもよい。

また、上記の各実施の形態における番組予約サーバ２００の構成要素をプログラムとして構築し、番組予約サーバとして利用されるコンピュータにインストールする、または、ネットワークを介して流通させることが可能である。

また、構築されたプログラムを、番組予約サーバとして利用されるコンピュータに接続されるハードディスク装置や、フロッピーディスク、ＣＤ−ＲＯＭ等の可搬記憶媒体に格納しておき、本発明を実施する際にインストールすることにより、容易に本発明を実現できる。

【発明の効果】
上述のように、本発明によれば、ユーザが自分の嗜好にあった番組を予約したい場合、事前に登録されたキーワードを用いて番組予約するのではなく、頻繁に再生されるメディアの情報をキーとして番組予約を行うため、日々移り変わるユーザの嗜好を反映した番組の予約が可能となる。
