Description
しかも液圧発生源の非失陥状態であって倍力液圧室の液圧が低いときに、ブレーキ操作部材からスパイク入力があっても、制御ピストンの前端の端壁に設けられるポートが閉鎖される前に、制御ピストンの端壁には第1および第2反力ピストンの後端が当接し、制御ピストンに作用する反力が大きくなるので、前記制御ピストンのポートが誤って閉鎖される虞れがなくなり、これにより、液圧発生源の非失陥状態で且つ倍力液圧室が低液圧状態での前記スパイク入力時にストロークシミュレータが誤ってロック状態とならないようにして、ブレーキ操作部材のストローク不足が生じることを防止することができる。

Claims (1)
- 倍力液圧室(25)に背面を臨ませたマスタピストン(26)がケーシング(15)に摺動可能に収容されるマスタシリンダ(M)と、前記倍力液圧室(25)に前面を臨ませつつ後退限を規制されて前記ケーシング(15)に摺動可能に嵌合されるとともに前記倍力液圧室(25)の液圧低下時にブレーキ操作部材(11)の操作に応じて前記マスタピストン(26)を後方から直接押圧し得るバックアップピストン(88)と、前記倍力液圧室(25)の液圧に基づく反力ならびにブレーキ操作部材(11)からのブレーキ操作入力が釣り合うように作動する制御ピストン(90)ならびに該制御ピストン(90)が軸方向に作動するのに応じて液圧発生源(12)の出力液圧を調圧して前記倍力液圧室(25)に作用せしめるようにして前記バックアップピストン(88)に内蔵される制御弁手段(89)を有する液圧ブースタ(13)と、前記ブレーキ操作部材(11)の操作ストローク感を得るようにして前記ブレーキ操作部材(11)および前記制御ピストン(90)間に設けられるストロークシミュレータ(14)とを備え、前記マスタシリンダ(M)が車輪ブレーキ(BA,BB,BC,BD)に接続される車両用ブレーキ装置において、
前記制御ピストン(90)は前端に端壁(90a)を有して有底円筒状に形成され、
前記ストロークシミュレータ(14)は、ブレーキ操作部材(11)に連なる入力部材(174)と、前記制御ピストン(90)の端壁(90a)との間にストローク液室(182)を形成して制御ピストン(90)に摺動可能に嵌合されるとともに前記入力部材(174)に連動、連結されるシミュレータピストン(177)と、前記入力部材(174)および前記制御ピストン(90)間に設けられる弾性部材(175,176)とを備え、前記バックアップピストン(88)に対する前記制御ピストン(90)の前進限で閉塞されるポート(183)が、開放時には前記ストローク液室(182)をリザーバ(40)に通じさせるようにして前記制御ピストン(90)の端壁(90a)に設けられ、
前記液圧発生源(12)の非失陥状態での前記ブレーキ操作入力に応じた前記制御ピストン(90)の前進時において、前記ポート(183)の閉塞前に該制御ピストン(90)に作用させる反力を大きくして該ポート(183)が誤って閉塞されないようにするために、前記バックアップピストン(88)には、ばね(140)により付勢されて後端を前記制御ピストン(90)の端壁(90a)に常時当接させる第1反力ピストン(126)と、前記バックアップピストン(88)に対する前記制御ピストン(90)の前進時に該制御ピストン(90)の前進移動量が所定値以上となるのに応じて後端を前記制御ピストン(90)の端壁(90a)に当接させる第2反力ピストン(127)とが、それらの前端に前記倍力液圧室(25)の液圧を作用させるようにしつつ前記液圧ブースタ(13)の一部を構成するようにして前記バックアップピストン(88)に対し相対摺動可能に装着されることを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。
