Description
以下、本発明の実施例を説明する。
呈色性化合物としてブルー203(山田化学製)を4重量部、顕色剤として没食子酸エチル(EG、分子量198)を2〜0重量部、トリヒドロキシベンゾフェノン(2,4,4’−THBP、分子量230)を0〜2重量部、ワックス成分としてポリプロピレンワックスを3重量部、帯電制御材として日本カーリット社のLR−147を1重量部、バインダー樹脂としてポリスチレン(三井化学、XPA6638)を90重量部配合した。顕色剤であるEGおよび2,4,4’−THBPは、それぞれ単独で配合するかまたは等モルずつ配合し、いずれの場合にも配合量を2重量部(混合した場合には合計で2重量部)とした。これらの成分を、密閉式ニーダーを用いて十分に混練・分散した後、粉砕・分級して平均粒径約9.5μmの微粉体に加工した。その後、疎水性シリカを全体の1wt%外添して青色の電子写真用の消去可能トナーを調製した。得られたトナー粉体の発色濃度を、ミノルタ製色彩色差計(CR300)を用いて測定した。
トリヒドロキシベンゾフェノンの代わりに、ジヒドロキシベンゾフェノン(2,4−DHBP、分子量214)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして青色の電子写真用の消去可能トナーを調製し、トナー粉体の発色濃度を測定した。
呈色性化合物としてブルー203(山田化学製)を4重量部、顕色剤として没食子酸エチル(EG、分子量198)を2〜0重量部、没食子酸n−プロピル(PG、分子量212)を0〜2重量部、ワックス成分としてポリプロピレンワックスを3重量部、帯電制御材として日本カーリット社のLR−147を1重量部、バインダー樹脂としてポリスチレン(三井化学、XPA6638)を90重量部配合した。顕色剤であるEGおよびPGは、それぞれ単独で配合するかまたは等モルずつ配合し、いずれの場合にも配合量を2重量部(混合した場合には合計で2重量部)とした。これらの成分を、密閉式ニーダーを用いて十分に混練・分散した後、粉砕・分級して平均粒径約9.5μmの微粉体に加工した。その後、疎水性シリカを全体の1wt%外添して青色の電子写真用の消去可能トナーを調製した。得られたトナー粉体の発色濃度を、ミノルタ製色彩色差計(CR300)を用いて測定した。
Claims (1)
- 相互作用により発色状態を呈する呈色性化合物と顕色剤とを含有し、加熱または溶媒との接触により消色可能な画像記録材料であって、前記顕色剤は、没食子酸エチルと、2,4−ジヒドロキシベンゾフェノンまたは2,4,4’−トリヒドロキシベンゾフェノンとを含むことを特徴とする消色可能な画像形成材料。
