Description

【0001】

The side of the fore is sealed by adhering to the fore part so that the mailing work can be performed smoothly.
[0004]
However, even if a book is displayed at a storefront in this way, the contents of the cover and booklet section cannot be seen simply, so it is not possible to increase the willingness to purchase the book, and the book is interesting. Cannot be added.
The present invention has been devised in view of the above circumstances, and the object of the present invention is to provide a partially sealed book that can add interest and the like to the book structure itself, increase the willingness to purchase the book, and increase the purchase amount. It is to provide.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, an extension portion extending to the outside of a booklet portion is provided in one of the front cover or the back cover, and the booklet portion is saddle stitched, However, it is folded so as to seal a paper piece of a booklet part located on the front cover or back cover side provided with the extension, and at least its tip is compared with a paper piece forming another page of the booklet part. Adhered to a piece of paper that forms the middle page of a booklet part made of paper that is not easily torn, and a half of the paper piece constituting the booklet part is wrapped in the extension part, and the front cover or back cover However, it does not open and close independently, but opens and closes together with the half of the booklet part, and the contents of the front cover or the back of the back cover and the half of the booklet part cannot be seen at a storefront or the like.
[0006]
Further , the present invention is characterized in that the extension portion is provided on both a front cover and a back cover.
Further, the present invention is characterized in that a cut line that can be cut from the front edge of the front cover or the back cover is formed at the base of the extension.
[0007]
Further, the present invention is characterized in that the extension portion is detachably bonded to the paper piece by an adhesive.
In the present invention, the paper piece portion of the booklet portion to which the extension portion is bonded maintains a sufficient adhesive strength for the adhesive to seal the booklet portion portion, and is larger than the adhesive strength. A surface treatment layer is formed by which the adhesive is peeled off by force.
Further, according to the present invention, the surface-treated layer comprises an oil-based OP varnish, a vinyl chloride / vinyl acetate copolymer-based paint, a nitrified cotton-based paint, an acrylic resin-based paint, an aminoalkyd resin-based paint, an acrylic resin water-based paint, and an ultraviolet curing. [0008]
[Action]
The front cover or the back cover provided with the extension part does not open and close alone, but opens and closes together with a part of the sealed booklet part. The unsealed booklet portion can be seen at a storefront or the like, but the sealed booklet portion cannot be seen unless the extension portion is broken.
[0009]
【Example】
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a book to which a cover according to the embodiment is applied, and FIG. 2 is a front view showing a state where the cover is separated from a booklet portion.
Reference numeral 1 denotes a book, and in the embodiment, the book 1 is a monthly magazine or a weekly magazine.
The book 1 includes a front cover 3, a back cover 5, and a booklet portion 7 sandwiched between the cover 3 and 5. The front cover 3 and the back cover 5 are configured by a single piece 9.
The front cover 3 and the back cover 5 are saddle-stitched on the back 101 side together with the booklet portion 7, and an extension portion 11 that extends to the outside of the booklet portion 7 via a broken line 10 is provided at the fore edge 103 portion of the cover cover 3. Yes.
The extension portion 11 is bent from the fore edge 103 side to the back 101 side so as to wrap a half of the paper piece constituting the booklet portion 7, and its tip is adhered to the paper piece 701 forming the central page of the booklet portion 7. As a result, the half of the booklet portion 7 located on the front cover 3 side is sealed by the front cover 3 and the extension 11.
[0010]
Next, the manufacturing method of the book 1 in which the half of the paper pieces of the booklet unit 7 is sealed will be described.
First, before saddle stitching the paper piece 9 and the booklet portion 7 forming the cover sheets 3 and 5, the extension portion 11 is folded from the fold line 10 into the inner surface 3 </ b> A of the cover cover 3.
In this state, as shown in FIG. 3 (A), the folding line 13 between the front cover 3 and the back cover 5 is positioned on the back 101 of the booklet portion 7 so that the paper piece 9 is overlapped on the booklet portion 7 and is fastened by a fastener. 101 is saddle stitched.
Next, the top cover 3, the back cover 5, the top and bottom of the booklet portion 7, and the fore edge 103 are cut by a three-way cutting machine, and the cutting line for the fore edge 103 portion is shown by an imaginary line (A) in FIG. .
At this time, the dimension S between the broken lines 10 and 13 is formed slightly smaller than the width W of the book 1 as a product so that the portion of the broken line 10 is not cut.
[0011]
Next, as shown in FIG. 3 (B), the extension portion 11 is folded and unfolded so as to be separated from the inner surface 3A of the cover 3.
Next, the extension portion 11 is bent from the fore edge 103 side to the spine 101 side so as to seal a paper piece of half the paper piece constituting the booklet portion 7, and the leading end of the paper piece 701 forming the central page of the booklet portion 7. Thus, as shown in FIG. 3C, the book 1 in which the half of the paper pieces of the booklet portion 7 is sealed is obtained.
[0012]
According to the present embodiment, unlike the conventional configuration in which the front cover and the back cover are simply opened and closed together with the paper pieces of the booklet portion, the front cover 3 alone is not opened and closed, and is integrated with the half of the booklet portion 7. Open and close.
Although the contents of the half of the booklet part 7 located on the back cover 5 side and the back side of the back cover 5 can be seen, the half part of the booklet part 7 located on the front cover 3 side is sealed by the extension part 11. Therefore, the contents of the half part of the booklet part 7 located on the back surface of the front cover 3 and the front cover 3 side can be seen only after the extension part 11 is broken.
Therefore, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to add an unprecedented interest to the book 1, and the outer surface 3B of the front cover 3, the inner and outer surfaces of the back cover 5, and the half of the booklet portion 7 can be added. Since it can be seen at the storefront, it is possible to increase the purchase motivation of the book 1 and increase the purchase amount, unlike the book for mail in which all the booklet part is sealed with wrapping paper.
[0013]
If a cut line such as a perforation is formed on the broken line 10, the front cover 3 and the extension portion 11 can be easily separated on the cut line, and the front cover 3 and the extension portion 11 along the cut line. Is orderly broken, which is advantageous in keeping the book 1 in a clean state.
[0014]
In this embodiment, the tip of the extension 11 is bonded to a paper piece 701 forming the central page of the booklet 7.
In general, coated paper and art paper are used for the cover and a piece of paper that forms the central page of the booklet portion. Coated paper and art paper are harder to tear and firm than the high-quality paper that forms the other pages of the booklet portion.
Therefore, it is easy to peel the tip of the extension part 11 to the paper piece 701 forming the central page via an adhesive, and the booklet part 7 is opened without breaking all parts of the book 1 including the extension part 11. As a result, it is advantageous for keeping the book 1 clean.
Needless to say, the tip of the extension portion 11 may be bonded to a piece of paper that forms an arbitrary page other than the central page of the booklet portion 7.
[0015]
Furthermore, when the tip of the extension portion 11 is bonded to a paper piece forming the central page of the booklet portion 7 or an arbitrary page other than the central page by an adhesive, the adhesive is sealed at least on the paper piece portion to which the extension portion 11 is bonded. If a surface processed layer is formed in which the adhesive strength sufficient to seal the portion of the booklet portion 7 to be sealed is maintained and the adhesive is peeled off with a force larger than the adhesive strength, the extension portion 11 is formed. When peeling from the paper piece, the adhesive peels cleanly from the surface processed layer, and the extension 11 is peeled off from the paper piece while the adhesive remains adhered to the extension 11.
If constituted in this way, when peeling the extension part 11 from the paper piece, it can be peeled cleanly without leaving an adhesive on the booklet part 7 side, and the trouble of tearing the paper piece of the booklet part 7 together with the adhesive can be prevented. Since no adhesive remains on the paper pieces of the booklet portion 7, all pages of the booklet portion 7 can be opened without any trouble.
If a cut line such as a perforation is formed on the broken line 10, the extension 11 where the adhesive remains can be easily cut off from the cover.
[0016]
The surface-treated layer is formed, for example, by thinly applying an oily OP varnish containing phenol maleic acid resin as a main resin and light oil as a main solvent.
Further, the surface-treated layer can be formed using, for example, the following paints (1) to (5) in addition to the oil-based OP varnish described above.
(1) Salt / vinyl acetate copolymer paints with vinyl chloride / vinyl acetate copolymer as the main resin and aromatics and esters as the main solvent (2) Mainly aromatic, esters and alcohols with nitrocellulose as the main resin Nitrified cotton-based paint with solvent (3) Thermosetting amino alkyd resin-based paint with amino alkyd as main resin and aromatic, ester and alcohol as main solvents (4) Acrylic resin as main resin with water, small amount Acrylic resin water-based paint with alcohol as main solvent (5) UV curable acrylic paint [0017]
In addition, the adhesive that maintains the tackiness is used, for example, a tacky adhesive composed of four compositions of a styrene synthetic rubber, a hydrogenated tackifier resin, a process oil, and an antioxidant. An agent is used.
The composition ratio (weight ratio) of the four compositions is 5-30% styrene synthetic rubber, preferably 10-20%, 25-60% hydrogenated tackifying resin, preferably 35-50%, and process oil 25. -60%, preferably 35-50%, antioxidant 0-3.0%, preferably 0.1-1.0%.
[0018]
In addition to the adhesive adhesive mentioned above, arbitrary adhesives, such as a hot-melt adhesive, an acrylic adhesive, a silicone adhesive, and tackifier resin, can be used for the said adhesive.
Specifically, the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives include thermoplastic rubber (styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer) -based adhesives / adhesives, natural rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesives, natural waxes such as petroleum waxes, and synthetic waxes such as polyethylene waxes. A wax etc. are mentioned.
Examples of the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive include cost-effective emulsion-type pressure-sensitive adhesives and solvent-type pressure-sensitive adhesives having excellent heat resistance.
Examples of the silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive include a peroxide vulcanizable pressure-sensitive adhesive and a hydrosilylation type (addition reaction type) pressure-sensitive adhesive.
