Claims (3)
- エンジンのシリンダヘッドとシリンダブロックとの間をシールする金属ガスケットにおいて、
シリンダボア用穴の周囲に設けた第1金属板の折り返し部と、該折り返し部内に配置された第2金属板の第1フルビードと、前記第1フルビードの外周で前記第1金属板に積層配置された第3金属板に形成された第2フルビードとを備え、
前記第2金属板に鈍し鋼材を用いて前記第1金属板よりも薄く形成し、前記第3金属板にスプリング鋼材を用いると共に、
前記第2フルビードの二次シール部で発生するシール面圧の大きさを、前記第1フルビードの一次シール部で発生するシール面圧よりも小さくし、一次シール部を面圧強化し、二次シール部で追従性強化をすることを特徴とする金属形ガスケット。 - エンジンのシリンダヘッドとシリンダブロックとの間をシールする金属ガスケットにおいて、
シリンダボア用穴の周囲に設けた第1金属板の折り返し部と、該折り返し部内に配置された第2金属板の第1フルビードと、前記第1フルビードの外周で前記第1金属板に積層配置された第3金属板に形成された第2フルビードとを備え、
前記第1フルビードのビード高さよりも前記第2フルビードのビード高さを高くし、
前記第2金属板及び前記第3金属板にスプリング鋼材を用いると共に、前記第3金属板よりも前記第2金属板を薄く、かつ、前記第3金属板の硬度を前記第2金属板の硬度より高く形成し、
前記第2フルビードの二次シール部で発生するシール面圧の大きさを、前記第1フルビードの一次シール部で発生するシール面圧よりも小さくし、一次シール部を面圧強化し、二次シール部で追従性強化をすることを特徴とする金属形ガスケット。 - 前記第3金属板を複数枚設け、前記第2フルビードを複数個重ねて積層したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の金属形ガスケット。
