本発明は化粧料に関し、詳しくはUV−A領域の紫外線吸収効果、経時安定性に優れる油中水型乳化化粧料に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、紫外線は皮膚に様々な影響を及ぼすことが知られている。紫外線は400〜320nmの長波長紫外線(UV−A)と320〜290nmの中波長紫外線(UV−B)と290nm以下の短波長紫外線(UV−C)に分類される。このうちUV−Cはオゾン層において吸収され、地上に殆ど到達しない。

地上に到達する紫外線のうちUV−Bは皮膚の紅斑や水泡を形成し、メラニン形成を促進する。一方、UV−Aは皮膚への浸透性が高く、皮膚の褐色化を起こし、皮膚中の蛋白質であるコラーゲンの架橋形成を促進、コラーゲンの弾力性や保水力を低下させ、シワの形成や皮膚弾力性の低下を促進させる。さらにUV−Aは皮膚ガンの原因になることも知られている。このような紫外線の有毒性から皮膚を保護する目的でこれまでベンゾフェノン類、ケイ皮酸エステル類、ベンゾトリアゾール類、ジベンゾイルメタン類等の各種紫外線吸収剤が開発されてきているが、安定性、安全性、コスト等の問題から、実際使用されているものは限られている。

その中で、4−tert−ブチル−4´−メトキシジベンゾイルメタンはUV−Aに対する非常に優れた吸収物質である。しかしながら、これは油中水型乳化化粧料に配合した場合、微量の金属イオンの存在下で経時的に褐変することがあり、外観面からも商品価値を損なう欠点があった。本発明は、このような従来の技術の課題に鑑み成されたものであり、その目的は4−tert−ブチル−4´−メトキシジベンゾイルメタンを油中水型乳化化粧料に配合し、且つ経時安定性に優れ、安全性や耐水性も兼ね備えた、紫外線吸収効果の高い油中水型乳化化粧料を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明者等は、かかる実情に鑑み鋭意検討した結果、ゼオライトを配合することにより4−tert−ブチル−4´−メトキシジベンゾイルメタンの褐変を防ぎ、経時安定性に優れた紫外線吸収効果の高い油中水型乳化化粧料を生成しうることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。

すなわち、本発明は4−tert−ブチル−4´−メトキシジベンゾイルメタンとゼオライトを配合した、経時安定性に優れた紫外線吸収効果の高い油中水型乳化化粧料を提供するものである。

以下、本発明の実施の形態について詳述する。本発明でいう4−tert−ブチル−4´−メトキシジベンゾイルメタンは、約330〜360nmに最大吸収を有する優れたUV−A吸収剤であり、例えば、特開昭55−66535号に記載の方法に従って製造することができ、また市販品としては、例えばパルソール1789(ジボダン社製)等を使用することができる。4−tert−ブチル−4´−メトキシジベンゾイルメタンの配合量は期待する紫外線吸収効果に応じて適宜選択されるので特に制限されないが通常は化粧料全量中に4−tert−ブチル−4´−メトキシジベンゾイルメタンとゼオライトの配合比が5:1〜1:5であることが好ましい。

本発明において用いられるゼオライトとは、主として含水ケイ酸アルミニウムナトリウムからなる合成ゼオライトをいう。ゼオライトの配合量は、クリーム、乳液等の剤形により異なり、特に限定されないが、10%以上では使用感が重くなり、好ましくない。

本発明の油中水型乳化化粧料の製造方法は、特に限定されず常温でも加熱乳化も可能である。本発明に用いられる非イオン界面活性剤としては、HLB値が2〜16の範囲に存し、3〜12のものが好適である。例えば、モノオレイン酸ソルビタン、モノイソステアリン酸ソルビタン、モノラウリン酸ソルビタン、モノパルミチン酸ソルビタン、モノステアリン酸ソルビタン、セスキオレイン酸ソルビタン、トリオレイン酸ソルビタン、ペンタ-2-エチルヘキシル酸ジグリセロールソルビタン、テトラ-2- エチルヘキシル酸ジグリセロールソルビタン等のソルビタン脂肪酸エステル類;
