従来、四隅に支柱を立設し、隣接する支柱の端部間を柱状体で連設して枠体を形成してなるラックを複数個連結するための連結具には、図5に示すものがあった。即ち、ラック31の上面及び底面の角部近傍に夫々透孔32を設け,透孔32同士を一致させて一方のラック31の枠体の内側から他方のラック31の枠体の内側にボルト33を挿通し、ナット34で締め付け固定していた。また、ラック31の側面に螺孔を設け、連結金具35を介して螺子36で螺着固定していた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら上記従来のラックの連結具によると、工具を用いてボルト、ナット、螺子等を締め付け固定するため、ラック31の内部に通信機器等が実装されている状態では工具が入るスペースがほとんどなく、また、狭い場所での連結・施工は非常に手間が掛かるという欠点があった。また、連結金具35を用いて側面から螺子36で螺着固定する場合には、連結金具35が突出して邪魔になると共に、連結金具が露出して見栄えが悪いという欠点があった。

上記従来のラックの連結具の問題点に鑑み、本発明の目的は、工具が不要で簡単且つ確実にラック同士を連結できるラックの連結具を提供するもので、少なくとも四隅に支柱を立設し、隣接する支柱の端部間を柱状体で連設して枠体を形成してなるラックを複数個連結するための連結具であって、前記ラックの枠体の内側の角部近傍に連結具本体を設け、該連結具本体にはスライドさせることによって突出可能な軸体を内挿すると共に、軸体の摘みをスライドさせ軸体を突出状態で固定するためのガイド溝を設け、前記軸体には先端部近傍に係止片を、略中間部から末端部の間に軸体をスライドさせるための摘みを設け、バネ体によって突出する方向に付勢し、前記ラックの枠体の外側の角部近傍には前記軸体が挿通可能な透孔を設け、該透孔には前記係止片が挿通可能な係止片挿通部を連設し、前記連結具の前記軸体を一方のラックの透孔から突出させ、他方のラックの透孔に挿通し、前記軸体の摘みをガイド溝に沿ってスライドし固定することにより、前記係止片が透孔の係止片挿通部から回動してラックの枠体と係止し、前記ラック同士が連結することである。

以上説明したように本発明に係るラックの連結具は、少なくとも四隅に支柱を立設し、隣接する支柱の端部間を柱状体で連設して枠体を形成してなるラックを複数個連結するための連結具であって、前記ラックの枠体の内側の角部近傍に連結具本体を設け、該連結具本体にはスライドさせることによって突出可能な軸体を内挿すると共に、軸体の摘みをスライドさせ軸体を突出状態で固定するためのガイド溝を設け、前記軸体には先端部近傍に係止片を、略中間部から末端部の間に軸体をスライドさせるための摘みを設け、バネ体によって突出する方向に付勢し、前記ラックの枠体の外側の角部近傍には前記軸体が挿通可能な透孔を設け、該透孔には前記係止片が挿通可能な係止片挿通部を連設し、前記連結具の前記軸体を一方のラックの透孔から突出させ、他方のラックの透孔に挿通し、前記軸体の摘みをガイド溝に沿ってスライドし固定することにより、前記係止片が透孔の係止片挿通部から回動してラックの枠体と係止し、前記ラック同士が連結することによって、工具を用いることなくラック同士が簡単且つ確実に連結できるという効果がある。特にラックの搬入が困難な狭い場所での連結・施工では効果が大きい。また、連結具はラック外部に露出しないので、見栄えが良いという効果がある。
