Abstract

This invention relates to a packaging box with a handle that allows the opening door to be easily locked to secure the opening when putting products in or taking them out of the packaging box.

Conventionally, there have been packaging boxes that store cakes and other items inside and are carried by lifting up a handle on the top and inserting your hand into the handle.

A packaging box A with a handle according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

The structure of this packaging box with handle A will be explained based on the developed cardboard diagram in Figure 2. This packaging box with handle A has a right side panel 3 connected to one of the left and right sides (left and right in Figure 2) of a quadrilateral top panel 1 via a fold line, and a bottom panel 2 connected to one side of the right side panel 3 via a fold line. A left side panel 4 is attached to the other left or right side of the top panel 1 via a fold line, and a glue tab 14 is provided on the other side of the left side panel 4.

In addition, upper opening/closing doors 7, 7 are attached to the front and rear edges (top and bottom edges in Figure 2) of the top plate 1 via folds, and lower opening/closing doors 8, 8 are attached to the front and rear edges (top and bottom edges in Figure 2) of the bottom plate 2 via folds. When placing a product such as a cake into the handle-equipped packaging box A through the other opening 6, the upper opening door 7, which has been folded onto the top plate 1 along the crease to open the opening 6, is locked in the open position to prevent it from falling. To do this, as shown in Figure 4, the locking projection 11 of the upper opening door 7, which has been folded up onto the top plate 1, is folded back at the crease at the boundary with the upper opening door 7, causing the tongue 17 to protrude from the semicircular notch 16 behind the locking projection 11. The handle 13 on the upper opening door 7 side is then raised, and the tongue 17 is hooked onto the downward-curved convex portion 13a of the handle 13. At this time, the locking projection 11 and the grip of the handle 13 overlap. This locks the upper opening door 7 to the handle 13, preventing it from falling down unnecessarily. This state is shown in Figures 1 and 5.

In this state, spread the right flap 9 and left flap 10 to the left and right, place the product on top of the lower opening and closing door 8, and then place the product inside the packaging box A with handle.

Then, fold the right flap 9 and left flap 10 inward, fold the lower opening door 8, and place it over the right flap 9 and left flap 10. As shown in Figure 6, insert both corners of the lower opening door 8 into the insertion holes 18 of the right flap 9 and left flap 10.

When the handle piece 13 is pushed backward, the tongue piece 17 of the upper opening/closing door 7 disengages from the downwardly curved convex portion 13a of the handle piece 13, and the upper opening/closing door 7 is rotated and lowered so that its lower end is placed on top of the lower opening/closing door 8, and the locking protrusion piece 11 is inserted into the locking cutout hole 12 of the lower opening/closing door 8 to lock it. As a result, as shown in Figure 7, the packaging box A with handles is closed, and the two handle pieces 13 can be held by hand and carried.

Furthermore, when removing a product from the packaging box A with handle, open the upper opening/closing door 7, lower opening/closing door 8, right flap 9, and left flap 10 in the reverse order to the above, and remove the product after the tongue 17 of the locking projection 11 of the upper opening/closing door 7 is locked with the downward curved convex portion 13a of the handle piece 13.

In this way, with this packaging box with handle A, the locking protrusion 11 on the upper opening/closing door 7 can be locked with the handle piece 13 when putting in or taking out a product, so that products such as decorated cakes can be put in or taken out without coming into contact with the upper opening/closing door 7, and the locking and unlocking can be easily performed.

In the first embodiment, the locking protrusion 11 has a tongue 17 formed by a semicircular cut 16, and the tongue 17 is configured to lock onto the downwardly curved convex portion 13a of the grip portion of the handle piece 13. However, the structure for locking the locking protrusion 11 to the handle piece 13 is not limited to this structure. Furthermore, although the locking protrusion 11 has a semicircular cut 16, this cut is not limited to a semicircular shape, and may be a cut of other shapes, such as a rectangular cut with three sides.

Claims (3)

A packaging box with handles. This box is made up of a rectangular top panel, a bottom panel, and right and left panels connecting them. The upper and lower doors, right and left flaps, which close the front and rear openings of a horizontally oriented rectangular cylindrical body, are folded and stacked, and the locking projections on the tips of the upper and lower doors are inserted into the locking cutouts of the lower doors to close the openings.
