電極を形成する表面弾性波素子の製造方法において、く
し型電極が多数個形成されたウェハ状の圧電基板を切断
する際に電極保護の為に塗布した有機系保護膜を付着さ
せたまま厚さ方向に完全に切断し、更にそのまま金属ス
テム等にマウントした後に前記有機系保護膜を溶剤及び
酸素プラズマにより剥離することを特徴とする表面弾性
