[Prior art]

Conventionally, light-emitting displays include a lantern, a neon sign, an LED, and the like, and an illumination-type signboard is often seen. [Problems to be solved by the invention]

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, various signs have been used for advertising a store or the like. Among them, the illuminated signboard exerts its power especially at night, and the above-mentioned neon sign and lighting system are frequently used. In addition, a method of projecting lighting toward a signboard to illuminate the signboard surface brightly is often used. However, since this projection method uses a plurality of light bulbs, it consumes a large amount of power, and has a problem that replacement and replacement of the bulb after the life of the bulb require a lot of trouble and cost. In the lighting system, a box made of a translucent material is made, fluorescent lights are installed inside the box, and the light is used to sharpen the characters on the surface of the box. There is a problem when replacing. Neon signs, on the other hand, do not consume as much power as light bulbs, but they are often used with the neon tube exposed, and can be damaged. A method of displaying characters and graphics by using a plurality of LEDs and selectively lighting the LEDs has also become widespread, but there is a problem that the number of LEDs used increases. The present invention has been devised to solve the above-mentioned problems associated with the conventional display system.By embedding the LED in a translucent material, it is effective with low power and weather resistant. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a luminous body having excellent properties.

[Means for Solving the Problems]

As a means for solving the problem, in the present invention, a transparent body is filled in an opaque case, and an LED is embedded in the transparent body to constitute a main part thereof. That is, a case is formed of an opaque material of an arbitrary shape whose upper part is open, a transparent body is filled in the case, a light emitting element is embedded in the transparent body, and a colored light transmitting layer is provided on the upper surface of the transparent body. The present invention is a transmitted light emitter having the above configuration.

[Embodiment of the invention]

To manufacture this model, first create a case that shapes the desired characters and figures, and arrange the LEDs in the appropriate places in the case. Next, a liquid transparent synthetic resin agent mixed with a curing agent in advance is poured into the case, the liquid surface is positioned slightly below the upper edge of the case, and left to solidify for a predetermined time. Then, a liquid colored synthetic resin agent is injected onto the solidified surface so as to coincide with the upper edge of the case, and is left to solidify for a time. After that, the upper surface of the color solidification layer is polished to complete. The LED is arranged at a position in contact with the bottom of the case, and a plurality of holes are drilled in advance at appropriate places in the case, and lead wires of the LEDs are drawn out from these holes and connected. To use the invention, first attach the invention case in place and energize the LEDs. The LED is located in a transparent body, which is located in an opaque case. Therefore, the light emitted from the LED passes through the transparent body and reaches the colored translucent layer, which illuminates the entire transparent layer brightly, and the colored translucent layer is easily recognized from the outside. Since the case is opaque, a part of the light emitted from the LED is reflected on the inner surface of the case, or the reflection is repeated to reach the colored translucent layer, so that the light can be efficiently illuminated. Further, since the LED as the light emitting body is embedded in the transparent body, sufficient weather resistance can be obtained.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a case, which is made of stainless steel in an arrow shape, and the upper part thereof is open. Reference numeral 2 denotes a transparent body, which is a transparent synthetic resin filled up to a position slightly lower than the upper edge of the case, and the LED 3 is buried with its side surface direction in contact with the bottom surface of the case. Reference numeral 4 denotes an LED lead wire which is drawn out of a hole formed at an appropriate position on the bottom of the case and connected to a power source (not shown). Reference numeral 5 denotes a colored light-transmitting layer, which is formed by filling a colored light-transmitting synthetic resin, and whose upper surface almost coincides with the upper edge of the case. Although the outline of the present invention has been described above, in this example, a stainless steel material is used for the case, and sufficient durability can be obtained. In this example, four LEDs are arranged, but the number can be increased or decreased as appropriate according to the size and shape of the case. At present, there are various LED colors such as orange, blue, yellow, red, and green, so if, for example, red and blue LEDs are alternately arranged and one of the LEDs emits light by switching, for example, It can be a luminous body that changes visually. As described above, according to the present invention, an effective luminous body can be obtained.
